Final assembly & Surprise Guest! - 4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.15
Painting frame and other parts. Checking and fixing run-out of the main 60mm (2" ²³/₆₄) tandem axle housing shafts in the hydraulic press. Cutting wheel axles to length and TIG welding sprockets on all six shafts. Assembling the right hand side chain housing. Installing chain into the chain housing, cutting to length and adding master link and checking for proper alignment. Fixing a simple mistake I made during fabrication. Tinkering on the tracked amphibious vehicle I built two years ago and getting it in the barn away from the elements. Finger's crossed that the paint on timber trailer parts is dry soon enough. Stay tuned for future videos. Thanks for watching!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.12 - Chain Housings Completed
Fabricating a differential frame bottom brace for the front end. Might have to make it beefier. Finishing up welding the first chain housing I started fabricating back in the second episode of this series (watch it here: https://youtu.be/kYmk73nMXjk). Receiving the axle moving hydraulic cylinder by courier and trying it out in the frame. Mounts need to be fabricated. Preparing parts (grinding zink off bolts for welding etc), setting up and completely fabricating the second chain housing from start to finish. The parts were already cut on CNC plasma beforehand next to the first chain housing parts. Getting bent 6mm (1/4") sheet metal all squared up on the welding table was an operation by itself. But it was manageable. And so we're on our way to completing this trailer. Can't wait! Thanks for sticking around. Soon we'll haul some timber! Stay tuned!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.11 - FIRST TEST and Steel Frame is DONE! Almost...
Finishing the tube frame of the timber trailer by fabricating log post carriers and gussets to give the log posts some more strength. Cutting some sidewall gussets on the homemade CNC plasma table for the tow bar assembly to box it in and make it more rigid. Welding all the gussets on the log posts. Modifying the axle sled. Having a test run on the hydraulic crane and hydraulic power pack and punching holes in the OSB ceiling with the crane (off the air). It seems that this trailer will be finished soon and in action hopefully. And "NUUT" means "splines". Forgot to add that in the video. Oops. More will follow. Stay tuned! And check my channel for my other videos! Cheers!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.10 - Log Barrier & Posts
4x4 PTO driven timber trailer build continues. Attaching the hydraulic side stablizer to see where the edge of the trailer's log fence / front barrier will be when the stabilizer is in the upper position since it has to mimic the shape of the stabilizers. Drawing up a basic sketch in FreeCAD to get all the measurements of the tubes required for this frame. Welding all the parts on my homemade welding table. A bigger welding table is definitely needed. Completing the log fence with scrap 21mm outside diameter scrap steel tubes that have been laying in the workshop under the lathe for a couple of years now. Cutting the log fence base plate on my homemade CNC plasma table. This table my buddy at Blackloop CNC helped me build has been a great asset. Getting a CNC plasma these days is super affordable and shortens the fabrication time tremendously. I'm quite happy with it. In the last quarter of the video I'm drawing up and fabricating log posts / log stops from S355 50x50x3mm square tube so the timber I'm going to haul will not roll off the trailer. To strengthen these log posts different types of gussets are needed to take the stresses off of the inner and outer corner welds. Also proper mounts to trailer frame are needed. But all of that in the next video. To be continued. Stay tuned!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.9 - Tandem Axle Completed
Turning rusty hexagonal steel bar into adapter bolts in the old trusty 1k62 lathe for the BMW E39 differential back plate since I cut off the original diff mounts in a previous episode. Cutting outer threads and drilling the bolts in the lathe but hand threading the inner threads. The original BMW bolts fit the adapters that make it possible to install the diff to a flat axle back plate I cut out on the homemade CNC plasma table (made by me and my friend @blackloopcnc9415 ). At the workshop I'm using FreeCAD drawing software, it is free and easy to use if you've had previous experience in other CAD programs. SheetCAM is my go-to program for converting CAD files into G-code that then gets used to cut out all the parts on the DIY CNC plasma. While making the BMW diff back plate I mess up the hole pattern and revisit the plasma cutter's hand torch and modify the freshly cut plate. The result is as expected - rough and ugly. I'm mocking up the axle so I can take measurements for the side plates for the bearing blocks. I have my reservations when it comes to these bearings - I guess these will be the first parts to fail and have to be replaced with something more reliable in the future. After the side plates are cut and tack welded I'm making a tubular frame from rusty rectangular tubing that gets cut to size on the cold cut circular saw / wet saw. After getting the tube frame done and the front of the diff mounted the axle is ready to slide front to back for load balancing purposes and for reducing tongue weight of the trailer. The tandem axle position will be adjustable with hydraulic cylinder mounted in between the frame rails. But all of that in the future videos. Stay tuned for the next episode & thanks for watching!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.8 - Differential To Beam Axle
PTO driven 4x4 timber trailer build - cleaning BMW E39 independent rear suspension differential half axles in the sandblasting cabinet. Turning in the lathe to size and welding on additional CNC laser cut flanges to accommodate the CNC-machined adapters for the 60 mm axles for the tandem axle chain housings. Fabricating a tool for turning down the modified BMW half axle to size. Checking the run-out of the shafts with a dial gauge. Turning the BMW half axle new flanges down to size and giving a centering edge so they fit together with the CNC machined adapters. Threading the flanges. Cutting off the old mounting ears of the BMW differential since they now interfere with the larger diameter flanges. Pressing back in the BMW half shafts and mounting the CNC machined adapters and shaft extenders. Sandblasting and painting the modified BMW differential. Jacking up and mocking up the now completed differential unit under the frame of the 4x4 PTO driven timber trailer with hydraulic crane. Starting to build the sliding movable axle frame that allows for load balance point adjustment on-the-fly but running into a fitment problem. The weld inside the 90x90x4mm rectangular tube prevents it from sliding on the 80x80x4mm frame tube. So I have to figure out a way of removing it. And a crude temporary fly-cutter is born out of an old rusty horse carriage axle and a cutting edge made from tool steel. Check it all out in the video! Stay tuned for the next episode & thanks for watching!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.6 - Hydraulic Crane
4x4 PTO driven timber trailer build continues. This time I'm welding on the CNC laser cut base plate with locating pin for the hydraulic crane. Since the trailer I'm building is taller than the trailer needed for the crane I had to modify the side stabilizer mount plates as well. So I just drew up needed parts in FreeCAD and cut'em out on the homemade CNC plasma table. With these CNC cut parts I made the stabilizer mounts also taller by just welding the homemade parts on to the provided mounts. I'm also mocking up the drive shaft. In the process of filming this video I managed to install and uninstall this crane at least 6 times. :) To be continued. Stay tuned for the next episode & thanks for watching!

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.5 - Steel Frame Fabrication
4x4 PTO driven timber trailer build continues with steel frame fabrication etc.. Also cutting flanges on the homemade CNC plasma cutter for the adapters that connect the BMW differential and homemade tandem axle chain housing. Starting to fabricate a steel trailer frame with dual rails. Using the old big green angle grinder again while cutting parts outside which brings back good memories from the times I started doing steel work. The tandem axle chain housing and trailer frame get mocked up and the hydraulic crane base plate finds its place on the tow bar. The shape of the tow bar will change in future episodes due to the routing of the propshaft and the height of the hitch on my homemade UTV I'm gonna use for towing this trailer around. The trailer is taking shape! Pretty good! Stay tuned for future episodes!

1969* Honda CB350 K - Making It Run Again
1971 Honda CB350K vintage motorcycle light overhaul with a mandatory oil change, starter motor cleanup, spark plugs, condenser and ignition coils check. Removing the tank since it is rusty inside and brings all the dirt straight into fuel petcock and carburetors. Fuel tank needs to be cleaned with sloshing around gravel or acid inside the tank. Carburetors are as expected filled with gunk and dirt. There's no battery of course and someone has swapped out the original blinkers with newer square ones which have to be replaced.

4x4 PTO Driven Timber Trailer BUILD Ep.4 - Chain Housing Finished
Finishing 4x4 PTO driven timber trailer tandem axle chain housing, one side at least. Cutting out the last S355 chain housing parts on the homemade CNC plasma table. Using 6mm S355 steel for all of the housing parts. Sprockets and bearings are off-the-shelf parts I ordered from a farmer store. This 100mm chain tensioner sprocket with the chain tensioner box mount will have a stop inside where the chain tensioner push bolt is tightened against. The hatch lid I cut out is 6mm (1/4") and S355 but I guess it wouldn't hurt to add some reinforcement on the lid and maybe some additional bolts to hold it down more firmly. Excessive force on the lid will only be a problem while reversing the trailer because only then there will be any force applied on the chain tensioner. Next thing in my TO-DO list is the housing for the BMW E39 differential that will be built in between the frame rails. Then the trailer frame itself, propshaft etc. To be continued. Stay tuned!

UTV Snow Plow BUILD - Part 2
Fabricating electrically controlled snowplow from scratch for my homemade 4x4 utility terrain vehicle/UTV/ATV (build link below). I'm using pieces of scrap steel I purchased from a local steel shop thus the blade being rolled from six individual pieces that (conveniently) fit into my homemade sheet metal roller. The strengthening strips are cut on the homemade CNC plasma table (link below). To control the blade side-to-side movement I'm installing a 12v ATV/UTV winch. I built the plow frame and the blade in the previous video: https://youtu.be/BltkMvWva7A

4x4 Off-Road UTV Build - START to FINISH
From start-to-finish homemade 4x4 off road utility vehicle build made from used front wheel drive car parts, homemade tube frame and other homemade parts needed to make a car work. The whole project was built over a span of one year.
This is the last part of a series of a four wheel drive utility vehicle build to lessen the work load on my trusty 2002 Honda Foreman Rubicon TRX500FA. This partially answers the question "Why?" but for those who want to ask "why don't you just buy a UTV instead of building one?" I just want to say - I'm not made of money. UTV-s are ridiculously expensive, even the car I drive around daily is worth less (not worthless though!), hell, it is even worth less than my 2002 Honda ATV.
"How much HP will it have?" - the 1.4 litre FWD Peugeot petrol engine I'm using has 55 kw and this will not change, but the torque is tripled via the BMW E39 differentials I'm using to transfer power to front and rear axles.
"It will be too heavy!" - this project just like the firewood processor project does not have to float. And a heavier vehicle will handle better anyway when hauling heavy loads.
All of this fabrication is done in my tiny homemade workshop.

Sawmill Build In 20 Minutes Or Less
This is the band sawmill I built in 2018. I used rectangular tube and angle iron for the trailer, motorcycle wheels as band wheels and 420 ccm industrial gasoline engine as a power source. I did mount an electric motor on it as the primary power source but I never got around to properly install it so I ended up using the internal combustion engine only. The build price was around 800 EUR back then and it paid for itself pretty quickly. I milled all the lumber needed for the workshop you currently see in the videos with OSB walls. The trees were cut down in my own forest. One reason for uploading this conclusive video is that many people don't have time or just don't want to watch the whole series from start to finish. The main reason is that I sold this mill in February this year and wanted to celebrate this project one last time. Watching through the original footage brought back alot of memories, was quite amusing and inspiring, even for me myself. I hope you find inspiration from it as well. However, this is not going to be the last sawmill built in my workshop/barn. A new plan is in the making and once it's ripe it'll see the sunlight in front of your eyes as a new project series. Stay tuned for future videos (4x4 UTV will be finished soon) and thanks for watching!

Tool Box, Engine Cover, Fenders - 4x4 Off-Road UTV Build Ep.30
Fabricating a special tool box for my chainsaw and accessories. The engine gets covered in safety cage and the UTV finally gets fenders so I'm not going to be sprayed with mud all over ever again. Check it out!
