The Worthy King (Episode 1) - Danny Steyne
Why we do what we do.
All of us have values ... many of values that people around the world live with and develop are related to the well-being of our own lives and families and communities. That is how our priorities are formed. Usually a quick glance at expenditures we make will show what we truly value. We can "say" our values are different but in fact what we invest in declares very loudly what we really believe in and want.
When the Kingdom comes in view... we must shift our values to what God wants... values that determine our obedience to Jesus ("if you love Me, you will obey My commandments")... different values begin to shape our lives. Values like worship and relationships and generosity and mercy all become a part of that value system. But there is first an understanding of WHY these values are so important... higher and more important than any... and it's based upon our understanding WHY we do what we do.

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
When you catch fish... It's smelly... You still have to clean them, but you've gotta catch them before you can ever clean them!

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”

How do we live life in the midst of revival?
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be given to you!” Matthew 6:33
The Disciples all lived in Revival…whether going and reaching out or staying in their community working. They lived in Revival. Revival IS the Normal Christian life.
Whether that was the outpouring in Acts 2 where they received the Holy Spirit or the living life with the Miraculous in Acts 3 and bringing people to Jesus everyday or being flogged in Acts 4 …. Speaking to governing officials… being filled with Boldness and Power …. sharing everything and developing a culture where God would meet them …but also experiencing the severity of God in Acts 5… it’s all Revival and so is the rest of the New Testament.
When we allow our walk with Jesus to wane and become simply tradition we lose everything those early disciples had.
The Giant is now awake! The Church will never be able to constrain God to a system, an institution, any of them…it’s just too big for a building and the boundaries that men set up.

PURSUING THE AWKWARD
SUSTAINING A MOVE OF GOD (REVIVAL) IN YOUR LIFE
Several years ago the Lord spoke to me. "Bylaws and Constitutions were written to prepare for My absence. If it's not me doing it, don't keep it going!"
WHAT WE TOOK FROM THAT WAS THE FOLLOWING BYLAWS AND CONSTITUTION....
As followers of Jesus, we have come to the understanding that He is our Chief Shepherd, His Father is ours too, and that The Holy Spirit is the administrator, director, and leader of His Church.
We fully embrace the notion that The Holy Spirit is fully aware of the direction and decisions that need to be made, capable of leading and directing in those decisions, and we are willing to abide by His leadership even when we are not fully cognizant of that direction.
We purposefully have chosen to remain dependent on His complete intervention in the affairs of Mountain Of Worship and our individual lives, believing that if He is leading, He is not looking to abdicate that role and release it to a lesser authority with human frailty, discernment, and judgment.
We choose to abide by the notion and highest principle of love that brings us to humility, teachability, and service to one another and the purposes of Heaven on the earth.
We are fully aware that we, as humans, are desperate for, and dependent on, His revelation, His Word, and His leading in all affairs of our personal and in the community of believers that are known as MOWFamily.
We gladly acknowledge the fact that we are not fully aware of all the parameters of practice, order, purpose, and parameters of His leading, and have chosen to remain submissive to Him in all our ways and practices.
We have come to know that although His ways and thoughts are perfectly correct, because of our human frailty and imperfect perception, we sometimes find His works, ways, and directions places us in an awkward, yet Holy place. We are grateful for this Holy awkward lifestyle that keeps us childlike in His Presence.
We have chosen to pursue and remain in a place where our gatherings and our lives together reflect Him and if there is no direction, we will remain at peace with that desperate place of waiting for His direction until it occurs.
Basically it means this in two very simple bylaws:
1. We don't know what we are doing (but He does know what HE IS DOING!)
2. We are going to pursue that notion in our gatherings!

REVIVAL & AWAKENING!
I want to talk to you about Revival... And Awakening.
Awakening is the watershed of revival! Awakening is actually simply the NORMAL Christian Life
Where is revival in the Bible? Why do we need revival? (To take us into Normal Christianity)
Habakkuk 3:2-7
2 LORD, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD.
Renew them in our day,
in our time make them known;
in wrath remember mercy.
3 God came from Teman,
the Holy One from Mount Paran.
Selah
His glory covered the heavens
and his praise filled the earth.
4 His splendor was like the sunrise;
rays flashed from his hand,
where his power was hidden.
5 Plague went before him;
pestilence followed his steps.
6 He stood, and shook the earth;
he looked, and made the nations tremble.
The ancient mountains crumbled
and the age-old hills collapsed.
His ways are eternal.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in distress,
the dwellings of Midian in anguish.
Psalms 80:17-19
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, O LORD God Almighty;
make your face shine upon us,
that we may be saved.
THE REVIVAL PSALM
Psalm 85
You showed favor to your land, O LORD;
you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You forgave the iniquity of your people
and covered all their sins.
Selah
You set aside all your wrath
and turned from your fierce anger.
Restore us again, O God our Savior,
and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever?
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your unfailing love, O LORD,
and grant us your salvation.
I will listen to what God the LORD will say;
he promises peace to his people, his saints–
but let them not return to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.
The LORD will indeed give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.
Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.
Isaiah 57:14-21
Comfort for the Contrite
14 And it will be said:
“Build up, build up, prepare the road!
Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.”
15 For this is what the high and lofty One says–
he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite.
16 I will not accuse forever,
nor will I always be angry,
for then the spirit of man would grow faint before me–
the breath of man that I have created.
17 I was enraged by his sinful greed;
I punished him, and hid my face in anger,
yet he kept on in his willful ways.
18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will guide him and restore comfort to him,
19 creating praise on the lips of the mourners in Israel.
Peace, peace, to those far and near,”
says the LORD. “And I will heal them.”
20 But the wicked are like the tossing sea,
which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire and mud.
21 “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
Hosea 6:1-3
1 “Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us;
he has injured us
but he will bind up our wounds.
2 After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence.
3 Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Rivalry in the Kingdom & Revival - Danny Steyne
Never before has the entire world been so ripe and ready for a legitimate move of God...and yet the broken nature that continues to spread rivalry and division, superiority and triumphalism, pride and arrogance continues in the Body of Christ as a one-upmanship explodes through the generations that misunderstand the call on their lives. We aren't entitled. We are called to be servants and family to each other...not competing for the Fame, Name, and Game called the Church. Afterall, Jesus is planting HIS CHURCH not ours. Any tiny part we get to serve Him is incredible and should produce in us the very character of Jesus, not a title or hierarchal pompous actor.
But revival, Awakening is coming on us right now. Now is the time to make things right with each other and with God. You don't want to miss the things that are coming to His Church, His Bride. Jerusalem missed the day of their visitation when Jesus came... we must not miss it ourselves.
Joshua 3:5 tells us to "Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do mighty things..." We are in that tomorrow.
Philippians 4:2
I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord.
1 Peter 4:7-11
7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. 8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Hope in the midst of storms (Prophetic Believers)
The Lord Will March In The Storms Of The South
Zechariah 9:14-17
The LORD Will Appear
14 Then the LORD will appear over them;
his arrow will flash like lightning.
The Sovereign LORD will sound the trumpet;
he will march in the storms of the south,
15 and the LORD Almighty will shield them.
They will destroy
and overcome with slingstones.
They will drink and roar as with wine;
they will be full like a bowl
used for sprinkling the corners of the altar.
16 The LORD their God will save them on that day
as the flock of his people.
They will sparkle in his land
like jewels in a crown.
17 How attractive and beautiful they will be!
Grain will make the young men thrive,
and new wine the young women.
Proverbs 14:4
4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty,
but from the strength of an ox comes an abundant harvest.

THE MERGE 101 (Training)
~THE MERGE VISION~
What if God raised up a people who wanted to be "The Church" and not just go to church?
What if His Church was seen as what happens throughout a region, and not in a building?
What if you were a part of a Church that you couldn't join, because you already belong as family through an encounter with Jesus?
What if there were those who understood that the value of being family was as precious to God as it is to the yearnings of our own heart?
What if the gatherings we have were more relational and purposefully impacting than simply watching others do it over us?
What if we began to function with the equipping and training and ministry that God has developed in our lives in practical ways?
What if success in the Kingdom realm was measured by heart condition, love for one another, and passionate worship of Jesus?
What if success wasn't measured by attendance, offerings and charismatic personalities?
What if ministry opportunities were not seen as promotions but rather leadings of the Holy Spirit into greater humility and love to the One's He died for?
What if there was something that went beyond the normal movement, denomination, or network relationships into family, destiny, and a community of laid down lovers?
What if there was no hype but rather holiness and power and humble love?
What would happen if the goal was Him?
What would happen if servants laid down agenda's and collectively picked up His agenda?
What would happen if fulfilling our vision, was fulfilling His Dream?
What would happen if there were a people who sowed into the Kingdom, and not into an institution?
What would happen if people joined "The Dream of God" rather than simply joining a place out of duty to satisfy the societal and religious obligations?
It's NOT church as usual.... but it is The Church!
There is...
it's called
"The Mountain"
COME TO THE MOUNTAIN!
THE MERGE CONTINUES
... as ministries and churches throughout the region gather for One...
COME PARTICIPATE...
... come merge... be a part of something bigger than just your thing ...

The Necessity Of The Prophetic (part 2)
PROPHETIC LANGUAGE DOESN'T FIT THE NATURAL (and carnal) MIND
1 Corinthians 2:12-15
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment.
Genesis 2:25
The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
Isaiah 20:2-4
at that time the LORD spoke through Isaiah son of Amoz. He said to him, “Take off the sackcloth from your body and the sandals from your feet.” And he did so, going around stripped and barefoot.
Then the LORD said, “Just as my servant Isaiah has gone stripped and barefoot for three years, as a sign and portent against Egypt and Cush, so the king of Assyria will lead away stripped and barefoot the Egyptian captives and Cushite exiles, young and old, with buttocks bared–to Egypt’s shame.

MERGE Guidelines –
The only real structure set up in MOW is to have facilitators of the MERGE meetings. Danny has encouraged us to be seen as “keepers of the vision”. What we are wanting to see is something that the Lord gave to Danny in a powerful three week period of open visions about the emerging Church. Our desire is not to MAKE that happen, but rather WATCH that happen. Our desire is not to CONTROL the flow, but to keep the vision by not letting it get off track and into areas that will be a distraction from the main theme of "Fulfilling The Dream of Father God in our region, to see every knee bow, every tongue tell ... that Jesus is Lord." We believe the leader of the meeting is the Holy Spirit, and such we allow Him to direct freely. Freedom in worship and the meeting is very important to protect. There are no preconceived “agendas” in the MERGE meetings, in other words, if you come in with a prepared message, this is not the place to bring it! MERGE meetings are not a platform for anyone to self promote. We are to function as a team seeking God’s heart together.
During the meetings, the only submission is to the presence of the Holy Spirit. In submitting to Him, we get all that we need; physical healings, emotional healings, and deliverance. The presence also uncovers sin to get healed and restored. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, your true giftings will manifest.
Any revelation that is given to you by the Holy Spirit during the worship time can be shared with everyone in the group. This means it is a word for “now”, a fresh revelation, not a past experience, testimony, etc. This is also to teach the body themselves to discern whether or not a word is from God.
Anything that is shared also should be able to be backed by a scriptural reference and put in terms that everyone can understand and receive. And be succinct and to the point, meaning it is not more than 5-10 minutes in length.
One other note. Unless you are previously designated by an individual as given authority to speak into their life, you should not speak to another of their faults unless you have directly received an offense from them.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE MERGE
Freedom ~ Joy ~ Love ~ Worship ~ Ministry ~ Spontaneity
Come expecting to be moved on by God … and to move in God … to be both a receiver AND a carrier of His Presence!
Kids remain with us during worship...
If you simply stay in your seat... you haven't engaged in the Merge!
If you don't get prayer.... you probably haven't really been to The Merge!
If you don't have fun... you definitely have not been to The Merge!
If you don't engage in some way, you may have seen The Merge, but really haven't Merged yet!
Housekeeping Notes:
Offerings are spontaneous THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE NIGHT.... (basket is up front) give as a part of your worship... out of gratitude (the offerings help pay for the facility, bless the worship leaders and musicians, and continue to release ministry
Children are to be children... but should not become the center of attention and definitely should be under the eyes of their parents, making sure they don't abuse furniture or anything else, or go to areas of the building outside of our gathering. Children are more than welcome to engage in ministry.
Banners are a part of our worship and we enjoy them up front as well as throughout the facility. Please make sure to express your worship without hitting people around you!
Art is also an expression that we welcome during our worship. Please bring your own drop cloth and make sure that your expression stays on your canvas or cloth!
If you have Word from the Lord (NOT PREVIOUSLY PREPARED) we invite you to share it after worship.
Physical Expression is an important part of worship.... which includes dancing, kneeling, laying down, and engaging in ministry … all of which is totally acceptable. Joy is encouraged. Love is highly recommended. Ministering to each other THROUGHOUT the evening is a part of what happens when we Merge!
Enjoy yourself..... Receive the love of the Father... and give that love freely to each other! Enjoy freedom.... everyone does!
