Winnipeggers: Episode 10 - Leaving Home
WINNIPEGGERS: EPISODE 10 – Leaving Home
Dave Spivak left home at age 18 to go to broadcasting school in Thunder Bay, and learned about Shake N Bake, hard boiled eggs, nunchucks, and dealing with same sex crushes (who also happened to be the local drug dealer).
Rybo moved out in order to furnish someone else’s apartment, and have a place to park his hand-me-down Oldsmobile. And then there was the time he lived in the Town Inn Suites in Toronto for 2 months and drank white wine for nutrients.
Chris Jericho moved out and discovered that Van Halen songs actually had guitar solos, and that his dad’s driving advice and tips were actually useful.
Hey @SpeweeMemes – a little inspiration for ya!

Nick, Andy, and the mysterious Chris L. do the usual album cover comparison, production analysis, and of course the infamous song-by-song breakdown! And in true CAC spirit, they share some great stories, trivia, and plenty of ridiculousness that may or may not involve Macaulay Culkin, actor and comedian Tyler Perry, Sally Struthers, the Harold and Kumar movies, a classic 80s mixtape, and a couple of broken hearts (one of which may or may not be Chris Jericho’s).

The threesome also talk about some of their favorite movies and directors (like Werner Herzog), and Mark speaks to the “Coven” sequel and when that may be available. It’s a great discussion about the art of film!

Talk Is Jericho: Grunge Killed 80s Rock & Roll
Listen to the full episode at https://www.webisjericho.com/category/talk-is-jericho/
The “Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour” launched in May of 1991, and was Warrant’s first headlining tour of that size. It was Firehouse’s first big tour, and Trixter had already been on the road for 7 months when they got the call to open the bill. None of the bands had ever really crossed paths before, but by the time the tour wrapped in October, not only had they all become fast friends, they also ended up with one of the highest-grossing tours of the year. And then grunge happened, and almost overnight, the three bands found themselves virtually out of work. Warrant’s Eric Turner, Firehouse’s Bill Leverty, and Trixter’s Steve Brown and PJ Farley reunite to tell tales from that storied rock tour (probably the last of its kind) including the pranks they played on each other, the after-show hangouts, jamming in local bars, Jani Lane’s video game obsession, and the night Judas Priest’s Rob Halford came to see them play in Phoenix, Arizona.

Winnipeggers: Episode 5 - Serial Killer & Celeb Doppelgangers
Everybody’s got a doppelganger – someone else in the world who looks just like ‘em! Dave hates that his is Simon LeBon from Duran Duran (or maybe Tom Johnston from The Doobie Brothers). Rybo’s been called a lot of things, including Jesus (could be worse), and someone else equally as questionable but for completely different reasons! And CJ, just go ahead and say, “what’s up, Jon!” next time you see him! As for that super creepy, giant cat face mask that Dave’s wearing? No f’ing idea! You’re gonna have to ask him yourself (twitter @dspivakproject).
Can’t wait to see what @speweememes shares for this one (anything but the giant cat mask, please)!
