The cursed episode! Recording this one was such a pain. My internet died on me as I was starting to stream and needed to spend half an hour fixing it. Then, I recorded this episode, and my emulator crashed and didn't save my progress, so I needed to record the episode a second time. With all that done, we made some good progress. Grabbed a few things in Super Metroid that have been unlocked, including getting the red boomerang. On the Legend of Zelda side, we finished off Thieves' Town, and got silver arrows and a new outfit for Sailor Mercury. SMZ3 is a crossover of Super Metroid and Zelda 3 (A Link to the Past). This is the last episode of the first recording session. Once more, we're working on clearing the overworld, and grabbing a few things from Norfair. I thought we grabbed everything from the overworld that we could, but we found the hookshot in Norfair just above Crocomire, and that opened all of the East side of Death Mountain. Origami Route: Day 5 (June 30) Date We finish off the week by stopping by the Trio of Terror, and by Tama-chan. Surprisingly, our sweet and gullible teacher is the first one to recognized that we're stuck in a time loop, although she thinks it's just Deja Vu. Afterwards, we take Origami on a date. The date gets cut short by an attack. Recklessly, we choose to follow her. At first, it seems like a false alarm, but then we're attacked by another guardian. Tower of Hera sucks as always. Moldorm is a terrible boss always. However, he does drop the moon pearl which lets us explore the dark world. That is in fact what we do. This is a fun episode, where I get to be cheeky. Mockball let's us get a few checks in Green Brinstar that we otherwise couldn't get. Sneaking into Lower Norfair gets us our sword. Origami Route: Day 4 (June 29) Date 2 The issues with my controller are fixed, and we can finally proceed with Rinne Utopia. This time, we go on another date with Origami. Once more, it turns into a study date, but Origami spices things up by having us take a bath together. There's a little bit of culture shock that this doesn't seem incredibly outrageous.
