I found a Dualshock 3 controller for the Playstation 3. One of the buttons was sticking and the shoulder buttons were misaligned. Finally got around to modifying my Nintendo Switch (non-OLED) dock. It's not a complicated procedure and doesn't take much time to do. I got this before the release of the OLED dock but I'm sure the procedure for that one will be substantially similar (if such a product exists). If you happen to see another video where someone has to break a piece to get the ribbon cable, I demonstrate in this video that you don't have to break anything. I got a PS2 with a disc tray that wouldn't open so I decided to do a video showing my attempts to fix it. There's quite a bit of fumbling about and I didn't get the exact result that I wanted, but I got some experience out of it and I kinda got it to work. Enjoy! In this video I adjust the potentiometer on a Playstation 1 laser (in the motor) in order to get it to read more of my Playstation 1 discs. I have some success but not the exact results that I was looking for. It's an easy thing to do but it had to be done carefully and methodically. It can get a bit tedious, actually.
