I believe this player to target me at times, knowing I am capable of folding good hands, KQ and AQ he checks calls, his check raise is either draw or set. On river no value in betting, he's either checking to give up on hand, or trap for big raise.

Yes, people will call value bets with 3rd pair, even on paired board.
