Nissan 350Z & Infiniti G35 Idler Pulley Delete MOD | AnthonyJ350
This simple MOD costs very little money and only has positive benefits. By deleting the Idler Pulley on your Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35 we remove a point of failure, weight off the engine and a little bit of rotational mass.
The reason why this pulley is here at all is other early 2000 Nissans may have used a belt driven fan, so to simplify production, vehicles like the 350Z received the pulley without the fan attachment because the car used electric fans. Later on the car was built with a shorter belt and a spacer was installed for the power steering.

HomeLink not Programming to new garage door opener (Homelink Repeater Liftmaster 8500) | AnthonyJ350
Our new home has two Liftmaster 8500W garage door openers installed and our HomeLink equipped vehicles would not program to these new garage door openers. After doing some research and talking to Create Doors, we found out we need Chamberlain's HomeLink Repeater kit in order to make our older vehicles compatible with the Security 2.0 garage door openers. In this video we also demonstrate how to setup and program the entire system.

The factory size oil filter for the engine on a Nissan 350Z is a little on the small size (K&N HP-1008). After doing some research we found you can put a larger oil filter size that works on other vehicles like the Pathfinder and the GTR.
What the video as we compare the two different oil filter sizes and install the bigger version and show how much clearance you have.

Diesel Fuel Filter Kit CAT Fuel Filter Installation (Ram Cummins) | AnthonyJ350
*Please read the instructions carefully for your application, this video is a short demo to show what's involved to do the installation* In this video we install a great support mod for heavy duty diesel pickups, a CAT diesel fuel filter with water separator from http://www.dieselfuelfilterkits.com. This is great for lightly modded pickups with a basic tune. If looking for a product for high horsepower applications, this is not intended for those applications.
"Diesel trucks from the factory typically come with a 7 micron or higher OEM fuel filter that is only about 60% efficient. That's right, 60% efficient! The injector manufactures for these engines recommend at least 4 micron or better! This along with increasingly bad fuel, and poorly designed fuel delivery systems on some brands is why they are notorious for taking out the injectors. In fact, OEM injectors are typically on backorder due to so many being sold worldwide. According to an in-depth research study conducted by CAT, the 7 micron particle has been shown to be the main cause of accelerated pump and injector wear in the Common Rails producing upwards of 26,000psi. These 7 micron particles blasting through your injectors at that kind of pressure result in premature failure which can cost upwards of $3,000-$4,000 in repair bills. CAT fuel filters are made to the highest level of quality in a factory, specifically designed to produce 'zero tolerance' filters. CAT built this factory that completely manufactures the filter without a human being touching it, because filter manufacturing can be very tedious and boring, which results in human error. The results of this factory process are a true, 2 micron fuel filter removing 2 micron and larger particles with over 98% efficiency. Do your own research on these CAT filters. For the money and the nationwide availability, you will be pressed to find a better filter out there." -Diesel Fuel Filter Kits
