America's Destiny Calls For Courage
We all honor the courage of our Founding Fathers as we should. But today, our generation needs new acts of courage. We are at a tipping point in the history of America. It is our turn. Destiny calls us to act with courage and accountability to pass the torch of freedom to our children and grandchildren or lose it all.

Local Action = National Impact
General Michael T. Flynn - Nation states rise and fall. For our country to survive, every American citizen must ask themselves what will I do to maximize my potential to help keep our great nation thriving as a Constitutional Republic. Get involved with your local communities. Never forget that this country was founded on faith, faith in God, faith in each other, and that we will always be a good, decent country that is the beacon of hope for all other nations in the world.

The Founders’ Vision – Individual Rights
The individual’s right to freedom was fundamental to what the Founders of this country envisioned when they created this country and our Constitution. They knew that if this country was to survive over generations, our rights of liberty and freedom must be protected.

Judeo-Christian Values & Our Way of Life - General Flynn
General Flynn:
So this country was founded upon a set of Judeo-Christian principles and values and it goes back even further than this, but I'll take it back to the 1500s and the 1600s, particularly in Europe, where there was a lot of persecution of Christianity back then.
And there was a breakup of various functions and various components of the Christian community going on across Europe. So, I'd bring everybody's attention that watches this, to a speech given by a pastor by the name of Winthrop in 1630, when he talked about going over to the New World. So, there were a group of ships. He's giving a sermon on the dock before they boarded the ships to take off for this voyage across the dangerous Atlantic to go to the New World. And he has a sermon. And during the sermon, he talks about the city on the hill. And it got me thinking about the city on the hill. Where does that come from? And it actually comes from the Bible and it's a verse in Matthew.
And so, when we talk about the city on the hill and Judeo-Christian principles and values, what we're looking at is this nation, the United States of America, was founded upon really religious ideals and the flight from religious persecution to go find a New World where people could practice their religion freely and fairly.
And the state that I primarily grew up in, the state of Rhode Island, and actually there's a small town that's next to the town that I grew up in, and it's called Portsmouth, Rhode Island, is one of the seats, the very seat, of religious freedom and founding of religious freedom here in the United States of America.
So, when we talk about faith, the one thing that I tell people that is more important than all the freedoms that we're given, because you can have all your freedoms taken away, they can be removed immediately from you by a tyrannical form of government and it's done around the world in many places I've been and many countries I've actually fought in, but the one thing that's more important than freedom is faith, your faith in our creator or your faith in God. And so just to use the word creator, the word creator I think is mentioned in our Constitution, I believe, four times.
So, our entire system of government is built on Judeo-Christian principles and values. When we talk about the Bill of Rights and the 10 Commandments, like we talk about the, the US Constitution and the Bible, the Bill of Rights and the 10 Commandments are promises that we make to each other, thou shall not X or you have the freedom to speak freely, in the Bill of Rights, those are promises that we make to each other. The fulfillment of those promises comes from the United States Constitution, from the Declaration of independence, and definitely comes from the Bible.
That's how the foundation of our country was created. And then you fast forward to today where we have elements of our government that are taking God out of the fabric of every aspect of society and removing it, removing it to the point where they almost want to eliminate the idea that this is a faith-based country, to more of a secular sort of ideology, meaning that God isn't part of our nation. God shouldn't be part of anything that we do. And that's just totally wrong. That actually is, to me, that is a ploy to get people to move away from what we are as an experiment in democracy, or a constitutional republic and more towards a socialism or communist form of ideology. Because God does not exist in communism, doesn't exist. That's a very monotheistic type of ideology, meaning that they have a certain way, it's controlled by the few of the many, versus control by the many of the few.
And that's what we are. And we're able to do that because we have fought for and sacrificed for, in terms of lives and also our treasure, to keep God and keep faith as a principle bedrock of our society here in the United States of America.

Supporting Citizen Participation - General Flynn
General Flynn:
America's Future is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It's been around since 1946. It was created right after World War II, and so it has a long-standing and cherished tradition of being involved in the political life of this country and being involved in life itself. So, the things that we cherish and we espouse in America's Future are right to life, we're a very pro-life organization, we are pro-family, we are pro-small business. We are protectors or champions of things like election integrity and other free and fair processes that we have in this country, to be able to get involved in the lifeblood of the United States of America. So, we have a set of values and a set of principles within America's Future and what we do is we get involved in everything from election integrity issues, education of children, and particularly children and helping out moms fighting for America or Mothers for America, other organizations that are out there, other nonprofits that are out there that we work and partner with closely.
And we also get involved in helping understand and educate people and also support financially people that are promoting the idea of our economic system through small business development. And we're very proud and thankful for the many, many people that have given dollars to us, financially supported us. And we will make sure that every penny, every dollar that's given to us is used in a smart fashion, a smart manner as we also are involved in grant-giving and scholarship. And I think those are two that are part of the education component of America's Future.

The Criticality of Election Integrity - General Flynn
General Flynn:
Well, the most important thing that we have that makes us all equal in the eyes of God and in the eyes of each other is our right to vote, the privilege of voting. And it doesn't matter if you're a person of great wealth and great means, or you're a person of little wealth and little means. You are equal when you enter the voting booth, so to speak, to vote. So, we are all equal when it's time to vote. Doesn't make any difference whether you're rich or whether you're poor. When you go to vote, when you exercise the right and the privilege of voting, then we are all equal.
And we're definitely equal in the eyes of our creator as it states in the Constitution of the United States of America. So, the idea of election integrity is about making sure that our election system and processes are free, are fair, they're transparent and they're without corruption, and they are absolutely above reproach. Meaning it is such a sacrosanct part of who we are as an American, our ability to vote, because we are a nation based on individual liberties and it is we the people that decide how our system of government is going to be run.
It's not the other way around where, where we're run by what's called an oligarchy, meaning we're run by the few of the many. It's actually, we are a nation of individual Patriots where this country, the United States of America, is run by the many, by a few. And we place those few in positions of authority by a free and fair and transparent vote.

Strong Families. Stronger Nation. - General Flynn
General Flynn:
So family is a very personal thing for me and many people don't know, but I lost a sister, my oldest sister in a very tragic accident when I was a young kid. And I think for a lot of families, tragedies sometimes can break things apart. And what we were able to do and I think it was through the strength of my mother and my father together, it actually brought our family even closer together and we really truly understand what the bond of family means. And so when I talk about promoting families, families have been torn apart in this country. The breakdown of families, particularly in communities of color, particularly in the African American community, they break down and the tearing down of families by segments of our political system has been detrimental to the health, the overall health of this country.
So America's Future as one entity and an important entity with an important platform, we are going to continue to promote families. We are going to work with organizations as I've said elsewhere, like Moms For America is an organization, is a nonprofit that's been around since 2004. I've become terrific friends with the leader of that organization, Kimberly Fletcher. And I think that if America's future and Moms For America, and there are other entities, these other organizations out there that promote families, if we are able to coordinate together and really work hard, what we can do is we can raise up the idea of the importance of families and we can highlight how much stronger America can be with a strong family bond as one of the essences of the principles that we actually stand upon as we talk about values for America.
One of the main values for America is the strength of the family unit. And if we can reignite that unit, and we can strengthen it to the point where it becomes really one of the... It's an emotional thing for me, because one of the things that that is super important about our country are the families that founded it and the family structure as we have moved forward. And it's one of the areas that I know in most people, everybody that listens to this knows that our families are breaking down in this country. And in many cases it's being purposely done and we cannot allow that. We cannot allow that. We have to have a structure that includes children. That includes mothers and fathers. That includes siblings and how we take care of each other. And it includes communities of how communities actually look at families and benefit families and promote families, promote the idea of it. So it's super important. And that's one of the primary objectives of America's Future is to get involved in promoting the idea of the family unit.

Free Market Capitalism & the American Dream - General Flynn
General Flynn:
The idea of free market capitalism is the ability for any individual to take their God-given talents, and to take their own initiative and their own discipline and their own hard work ethic, and go out and work hard and build something on top of something else. Go and build a new idea, go and build a new business, go and create something, and create your own wealth. That's the beauty of a free-market capitalist system. And that's why from America's Future's perspective, we are so inclined to support small businesses and to promote the idea of the small business economy in this country. Because free market capitalism is really the engine.
If you look at engines of America, one of the primary, or the primary engine of America economically, is clearly small businesses. It's not the big corporate world. Although, we feel like they're imposing on us too often these days, the engine still is small businesses, because we still are allowed to exercise freely our own right to think, our own ability to think, our own talents, and to be able to bring those talents to bear in the economic system of a town, a city or our country.
And most of previous generations that started and grew, grew great wealth. They started with nothing, and they accept the talents that they were given by God, and they worked hard and they created great opportunities for many.
The one thing about small businesses, as well, particularly being an engine, one of the reasons why they're an engine is because they employ people. Whether they employ five people or 50 people, or in some cases, 500 people, those small community businesses are out there keeping the lifeblood and the livelihood of the fabric of America strong and together. And I think that's why we have to continue to promote small businesses in this country.

Our Most Cherished American Values - General Flynn
General Flynn:
So American values really are the values that we cherish. And they're the values of being an American patriot. They're the values of integrity. They're the ideals that we cherish when we talk about our freedoms, our ability to speak freely, our ability to peaceably assemble. All of the things that are addressed in our Bill of Rights, but values as an American are the things that we cherish and hold dear. So, the most important values are our faith in God, our families, and the real true friends that we have that we can count on when the going gets rough. And I think that those are the principal values that I believe in, faith, family and true friendship.
I always talk about freedom as a value, but freedom is something that's a little bit different than a value. It is a human trait. It is something that we, as human beings, all cherish and all believe in. But when we talk about values, it's really the ideas and the things that we hold dearest to us, and that's our faith, our family, and true friends.
