VLOG 468 💖💲 ✌ Whenever you have employees there will be misunderstandings. Today’s video shows you just how specific you must be when explaining your expectations to your employees. JT had told John that he would work around the one day every other week that John had requested. John assumed we’d work around other days as well. We had to clear that up. JT also told him that his hours were 8am till 4:30pmish. Sometimes later….sometimes earlier. John had started showing up around 7:30am-7:45pm and expected to be paid for that. That’s now cleared up. VLOG 467 💖💲 ✌ We borrowed a Ditch Witch SK 1550. We pulled a few trees, a few bushes and then spread out some pea gravel. We need one of these machines! One job took us 25 minutes and earned us $400! We also get caught driving home during a tornado warning here in Oklahoma. Thankfully it lifted just before it got to our shop. You feel awful small when you’re caught in this situation! As these Ordinances make their way into the real world….well let’s be honest….clown world, in California, confrontations will be taking place. Here we have the male version of a Karen (Ken?) bravely confront a landscaper that’s probably heard this complaint from all the ladies in the hood and is sick of it. I get why the landscaper did it. We’re trying 40 lbs of Sevin on 32,000 sq. ft of our backyard lawn. We’re hoping this application will rid us of most of our ant problem. Sevin also treats for over 100 different pests. Our application cost us roughly $45 in product. To treat my back lawn. Roughly half of what an industrial application would cost. Let’s see how well it works for us. I’m not taking my comments back because they are true. The 1100cc Bad Boy we own has been the most comfortable and powerful mower I have ever ridden. It leaves an amazing cut! The missing context is I have never ridden on a comparable mower from any other brand. Not Exmark, not Wright, not Ferris, not Cub Cadet…none of them. We’ve been promising some equipment reviews/demonstrations this season. The Old Man tries out an 1100cc CAT diesel powered Bad Boy Zero-turn with a 61” deck. If you’re reading this you don’t need to watch the video. It’s the best Zero Turn mower I’ve ever ridden on. It cuts amazing with plenty of 35 horsepower motor. The deck is just our size at 61”.
