On Saturday I visited 3 inspiring Gardens that were part of the eco-Garden tour in Sonoma County. 3 Gardens that stood out for me; 2 are re-builds from the Devastation fires in 2017 that swept through the City.of Santa Rosa where we focused our visits. ~A Modern re-build design with a bold Succulent collectors garden with a spectacular view. including the Tree Skeletons lining the opposite ridge of the valley. ~From Ashes to Sustainability,,, Garden full home grown food & bursting with life! A complete Re-build turn in to a full re-imagining of a better & more sustainable life! ~A Rural Wooded Country neighborhood's brush with the fires threat ending in a grateful near miss... and 30 years of 2 devoted Gardners and Artists, gardening on a steep hillside ... eclectic plantings of whatever suits their creative ideas! at the time... ever evolving as all thing do in life! I was speaking to a friend today and we were talking about being able to eat out of our gardens... so I thought i'd show you around the veggie beds. there ar more in other areas of the yard... there are more tomatoes planted and squash, beans and herbs to be planted yet! I'm disappointed with my garlic so far but we'll see if the summer heat will give them a boost! and we saw the PasaFlora bloom together for the first time today! very exciting! Thanks for stoping by! I just feel that creating a life that we love to live.... filled with things that bring us joy and fulfillment... even if it's doing only 1 small thing each day that puts a smile on our face and heart ...will begin to create a life we feel is worth living on the daily!!!

Happy Mother's Day! it is always such a pleasure to be able to pick ...Arrange... & gift flowers to people!... including all you that come to visit in Youtube LAaNd! Last year at least 75% of this bamboo stand bloomed and died back... so I cut it all out and now the rest of it is dying out.... this is what happens in bamboo forests I understand.... when Bamboo blooms out in 50 to 100 years the entire forest dies because it is all connected! well there are a few green canes but im not sue if they will die soon as well... so it looks like it may be time to re do the entire bed! it makes me think about my life and what has bloomed out? What has completed it's cycle? Where do I need to start Fresh?? That physical job is for later! I'll keep you posted as to what happens next in the saga of "as the Bamboo dies" hehe! I love it when these Aloe bloom in mass ... so striking and when there are fresh like they they almost sparkle! & Musing about todays process and training Sessions .... Yesterday was about Focal Points... Today we covered Energy, Clairty and Courage (always reminds me of the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz Story! Sometime people with good intentions wanting to help... blurt out all the things you did incorrectly, as a way to help you do them correctly next time! in this instance I was already on shaky ground but jumped in to give it my best shot! unfortunately the delivery of the info was a bit harsh for me in this circumstance and on the other hand from their perspective I can see all the points.... but when we are tender it's hard to hear when harsh .... Soooo... I just when out into my garden and took a walk... pulled some weeds did some watering and just breathed deep until I could reground to mama Gaia releasing the hirt and getting back into the present moment and remembering this is just an experience and not the truth of who I am as an invite being!! Bouquet of the week... plus 2 Clematis on the periwinkle arch next to the Blooming moc-orange (Philadelphus) I just love this time of year....it is so magical... So much bursting into bloom!

Brugmansia (Angle Trumpet) update... Still blooming and thriving in its Successful micro-climate between the house and the pool...8+weeks later. And not just a trickle of blooms but a massive amount currently open and more coming!!! I'm delighted!! It was so darn small when I planted it for my friends! I had a hunch this would be a place to thrive and its blooms can be seen from the living room window! love it when it all works out like that! wishing you a magnificent day! Love and blooming Hugs!
