How to Make A Simple Sterling Silver Ring by Soldering
One of the myriad of ways to make a simple sterling silver ring from strip plate 925 Sterling Silver. You will learn how to measure your finger without a ring gauge (this is a classic way jewellers get their customers to sneakily measure the ring of a loved one without them suspecting. They DO NOT give them ring gauges and them ask them to measure their loved one's finger size; that would give the game away if it was supposed to be a secrete LOL!). However, if it's not a secrete, then a ring gauge is the way forward of course.
I will show you one technique for soldering
We will use a small torch which uses a Propane/Butane mixture. it is NOT a jeweller's torch. A jeweller's torch will be the best best in many circumstances as it uses a Propane/Oxygen mix. It is possible too to use a Propane/oxygen torch for plumbing if you are careful, I have used such equipment many times with good effect, however, such torches will not e suitable for fine silver work as the just is usually too course in size.

This is super delicious. Once dried you can store the Lup yook it in the fridge for months.
To prepare for eating, slice thinly and steam over rice (makes ordinary rice taste great!), or fry or steam entire belly cuts. Very very aromatic and tasty.
It takes about 1.5 weeks to prepare depending upon the weather.
I show the fill recipe and how to make it from start to finish.
Please like and leave a comment if you like it or even hate it.

How to Properly Remove Contaminated Gloves
There is simply no point in wearing protective gloves if you fail to remove them properly and safely otherwise one will simply contaminate others, objects in the laboratory and or yourself in the process.
Here is a basic method for the safe removal of contaminated or potentially contaminated gloves.
After removal it is ALWAYS a good practice to then wash your hands.
If you work in a laboratory and are not removing you gloves like shown then you are potentially contaminating your place of work, yourself and possibly other colleagues with sloppy laboratory safety practices. During my career as a scientist, the amount of people I saw who had no idea of how to remove safety gloves was astronomical and then they wondered why isotopes were contaminating everything in the lab. Don't be a "lab loser" Do it right the first time!

Making a Sterling Silver Ring
Here I demonstrate some of the steps to make a huge chunky sterling silver 925 ring without soldering, be prepared there was a lot of hammering and annealing steps not shown. We use 6mmX6mm 925 wire for this job, tough stuff to work with. I also talk about the kinds of tools necessary when one starts out to make silver jewellery and discuss what is truly necessary and what isn't, substitute tools and things you can not substitute or I would recommend one did not substitute when embarking on this craft.

Flame Thrower
I was about to start working on some silver jewellery and found my gas torch had developed a serious fault, it nearly caused an accident, instead of a controlled flame, it was like some kind of crazy flame thrower and shot almost 1m long flames! it was some sort of failure of the pressure regulator which caused such a huge and useless flame. It came very unexpectedly as the flame should be only inches long! Safety First!

An Australian cooks wild mushrooms for dinner, however, these are NOT poisonous wild mushrooms but Suillus bovinus The Bovine Bolete.
Found on both hemispheres but specifically within Europe in the vicinity of certain pine species.
Don't pick them or eat them if you have no idea of what you are doing. otherwise you might end up on the news or end up on the news dead. Don't eat wild mushrooms from someone who doesn't like you or has no idea what they are doing.

Bubble Tea
This is really milk mixed with tapioca which has been steeped in a palm sugar solution. You can add this to black tea and include the milk, served hot or cold however, the trick is to make sure the tapioca balls (the bubbles) have been soaking in palm sugar, not ordinary sugar as it has a completely different taste. Can also be served with ice on a hot day, very refreshing!

Making Polish Style Coffee
How easy is it to make a traditional style Polish coffee. Ok Poland has had an interesting history when it comes to coffee. Once only for the wealthy, many poorer people had to drink either watered down types of coffee and or other grains roasted in such a way as to appear to taste like coffee. They used to drink it black (Kawa parzona), no sugar, then in the early 1900's with sugar and sometimes milk however, now it is drunk without sugar in many places but sweetened with a rather liquid condensed milk. At least that's what the Polish woman told me in the shop today!
