Sticking a Camera for the First Time into a 400M Deep Mine Shaft
This time we are back and stick the camera out over a 400m deep mine shaft to determine who to safely rig this shaft for descent. You will now see towards the surface of this sealed shaft and towards the bottom, although we do not believe it is the true bottom. Our rough calculations place the depth close to the supposed 400m!

Super Simple Fritata when you can't be bothered to cook more!
4 eggs, beaten with about half a cup of whole milk, set aside. Cut potatoes thinly and fry slowly in a little oil until brown, add fresh wild chives or just chives, salt pepper to taste, once potatoes are cooked pour egg mixture over everything and cook slowly. That's it. Enjoy!

Simply THE BEST BOLOGNESE SAUCE
Ok this is a big big boast because everyone has their "BEST" Bolognese sauce. here I will present mine. Take care, it takes all day to prepare, from early in the morning, using a slow cooker to slowly (funny that) cook the ingredients:
Wild Fairy Ring Champignon mushrooms (buy them from a reliable source if you are not skilled at mushroom picking- we picked our own LOL), you will need several good handfuls for every 500gm of mince beef.
You will need fresh Thyme
Salt and pepper to taste- I used ground pepper corns and Himalayan salt
100% Sunflower oil
100% Pasata (I was being lazy and not using fresh tomatoes but if you do this obviously they must be the "Monkey Arse" type which are very sweet like a proper tomato is supposed to be LOL!
Fresh garlic
Hungarian semi sweet/semi hot paprika
prepare how the video shows.
Don't scab on the pasta itself, yes, quality expensive pasta makes a huge difference from el cheapo pasta, trust me.
If it's not Al dente in 12min or less it's rubbish pasta.
garnish with Mozzarella cheese (if you like) and i added some greens as in lightly boiled broccoli.
Bon Appétit!

The RockHounds: Jasper Hunting Part 1
In in this video we go looking for brecciated "blood jasper". This Jasper looks like chunks of the best steak money can buy when it's all wet and or polished! It has a high metal content and this gives it a great deep red coloration.

Differences Between Good Gun Brushes and Badly Made Brushes
Not all gun cleaning brushes are made the same. They can of course be made out of the same materials but the trick lies with the construction of the actual bristles themselves. The bristles need to be sitting neatly in a spiral form around the wire of the brush head so that when inserted and removed from the gun barrel the entire brush is allowed to rotate as it follows the path of the barrel rifling; otherwise the brush elements (which should be phosphor bronze) will skip over the lands and grooves instead of maximising contact with them. Neatness in construction is key.

Solar Charging a Watch
What to think about when solar charging a watch. They are not indestructible, especially when it comes to constantly overheating the battery beyond the manufacturer's specifications for operation. This is the primary cause of failure of a solar watch to maintain it's charge.

Borekare Gun Cleaning Kit, How Good Is It???? Seriously?
Borekare Gun Cleaning Kit, How Good Is It???? Seriously? Recently, i got a new gun cleaning kit and to my astonishment found for the price it is incredibly good. Excellently made phosphor bronze brushes, extendable rods made of brass which all fit together precisely, cotton swab brushes which did not leave behind fibres in the barrel. How do I know/ because we used a bore scope to check our cleaning results out.
The kit is from BoreKare and are tailored to what calibre/type of firearm you have. Give them a look, I think they are worth it.

Exploring an old URANIUM MINE!
Here we visit an old uranium mine and see if we can not find something radioactive AFTER 32 years since closing. Nothing above ground save for probably concrete leaching tanks/troughs are left. All mine shafts have been concreted over. Radiation levels (on the ground) around the site are very low but just above background levels.
No radiation levels above background could be measured anywhere in the air.
Radiation levels above some of the filled in leaching structures show elevated background levels 12" above the ground (see the very end of the video). Instead of new concrete being poured into the leaching structures to cover all radioactive residual materials, only waste concrete building/construction scrap was dumped into these areas. No radiation above background could be detected above these areas, however, we did not attempt to lower our detector into any of the large crevasses to get reading closer to the bottom of these concrete pits.
All structures supplying electricity to the mine and any buildings have all been removed. There is evidence of extreme sport being conducted in the mine area (pretty stupid really) and no doubt creates much dust.
Don't do this at home kiddies!

Fan Forced Oven Slow Cooked Pork Fillet Asian Style
Fan Forced Oven Slow Cooked Pork Fillet Asian Style
Use your fan forced oven to slow cook a marinated pork fillet over a period of 3/4 of a day (or until you like it)at just under 100C!
I marinate the pork fillet with garlic, shallots, fermented black beans, sesame oil and hot chilli seeds. 10-15 before serving sprinkle brown sugar (not shown) over the entire roast and bake at 200C for up to ten minutes (fan forced oven setting). This will caramelise the sugar and help tp brown the surface, obviously you will need to remove the Al foil in order to perform this last step. If you have done this right then the pork should be very tender.

Preparation of Tasty Beef Stew in a Slow Cooker
What used to be called a casserole we call a slow cooker, same deal. Here I prepare a tasty beef stew,
one brown onion
2 large potatoes (skin on)
largish bunch of Italian parsley
several cloves of garlic (crushed and roughly diced)
salt to taste
Olive oil
H2O
Brown the onions and garlic, then add the diced meat, after 4-5 hours, just cover with boiling water, Follow Instructions on video.
A no nonsense easy as meal for 4-5 (served with rice). let it cook all day while you are at play or work. lower power consumption. heck these slow cookers use about as much electricity as a tropical fish tank aquarium heater LOL.
