Private property is debt collateral for America
Most Americans have no idea how close we came to almost losing control of our private property and natural resources to rapacious Wall Street bankers and foreign adversaries. Margaret Byfield, Executive Director of American Stewards of Liberty, explains that a proposal to create so-called ‘natural asset companies’ (NACs) was withdrawn by the Securities and Exchange Commission early in 2024, but only because of a focused and relentless campaign by a small but powerful group of fighters inside and outside Washington D.C.
The defeat of NACs is only a setback for the globalist oligarchs who want it all for themselves. And that’s what makes this talk between Ms. Byfield and Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, so critical. It’s important to understand what the proposal to establish NACs included, and what to look for when it inevitably returns rebranded in softer and gentler terms, so it gains traction. In this 40-minute chat, you’ll see how NACs and so-called land conservation efforts are actually just very pernicious ways to seize control of more and more private property, turn it into tax income for the federal government and debt collateral.

The time to speak up is NOW! (before it’s too late)
Jennifer Sey always tells people, if you don’t speak up then who will? She took a bold stance decades ago when she wrote a book publicly detailing the abuse rampant in elite gymnastics. Sey did it again in 2022, when she spoke up against COVID school closures and the damage they were doing to children. In this conversation with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, she explains how and why she walked away from a career at Levi’s and what led her to launch her new brand, XX-XY Athletics, in support of women in sports.

The push for a pandemic treaty isn’t over yet
Dr. Kat Lindley says global governance mechanisms like the United Nations and World Health Organization are really just efforts to grab more money and power. In this conversation, which took place before the WHO’s pandemic treaty failed to be adopted, Dr. Lindley talks about the threats these treaties pose to our personal sovereignty, the kinds of public health policies she thinks should be promoted, and why it is too soon to claim victory in the fight against the pandemic treaty and the UN’s global power grab.

Is America ready for non-linear warfare?
As we celebrate Memorial Day — a day set aside to honor the US military personnel who died serving our nation — we look to the future and ask if America is prepared for the next conflict, and for non-linear warfare, which has massive ramifications for our way of life.
Our guest, Dr. Crisanna Shackelford, has 32 years of active duty both in the Navy and in federal service with the Department of Defense. An expert in national security, intelligence, warfare, strategic planning, and public policy, she sat down with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, for a gripping discussion on how warfare has changed, why it’s important to understand non-linearity and complexity, and how the US is not in the place it needs to be in a world with adversaries whose cultural and strategic outlook is helping them “soften the battlefield.” On this immensely complex topic, Dr. Shackelford does her best to share ways we can prepare and protect ourselves for what’s happening and what’s to come.

How and why we decided to start Collapse Life
My husband, Stephen, and I are the core team at Collapse Life, along with Elvis, Dobby and Asher (the Collapse Life greyhounds). The humans have Masters degrees in journalism, and both have had the great fortune of being taught by old-school (i.e., heavy drinking, heavy smoking, burning-the-midnight-oil to hit deadline) journalists who told us over and over again: “you are not the story.”
That’s why we find it hard to talk about ourselves unless absolutely necessary. Still, we realize that a bit of background can be helpful in contextualizing the articles we write and content we create. So today’s episode is a bit of a backstory into who we are and how we came to start Collapse Life. And it’s all thanks to our friend Peter Grandich, who gave me the opportunity to tell my story on his channel a little while back.
We hope you enjoy this glimpse into who we are and how we got here.

The army officer who’s standing up for the country by leaving the military
Brad Miller spent nearly 20 years in the army, rising to Battalion Commander, before being forced to leave the military because he refused to take a mandated shot. His story is about so much more than that, though. He talks to Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, about what duty, honor, and country mean to him, how he’s using his position as a civilian to call for accountability in the military, and why he’d do it all again if asked. This is a truly inspiring hour-long conversation with an American hero you definitely won’t want to miss.

Canada’s anti-growth budget is an indicator of financial crisis
Max Bernier, leader of the People’s Party of Canada, says the new federal budget is anti-growth and will send the country deeper into debt than it already is. He tells Collapse Life host Zahra Sethna that there is no way Prime Minister Justin Trudeau can win the October 2025 election given the inflationary economic crisis people are experiencing. But he argues that Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative Party, is ‘meet the new boss, same as the old boss.’ Find out what Bernier says this anti-growth budget means for Canada, and how policies in Canada might start to affect people in other countries, too.

Moms Across America is exposing the toxic foods we feed our children
Zen Honeycutt started Mom’s Across America to shine a light on all the many toxic foods that millions of American children eat every day — in the form of fast food and processed food. Whether its heavy metals, glyphosate, or animal vaccines, the vast majority of the conventional food system is silently poisoning Americans, both young and old alike.
Through personal experience with her son, Honeycutt discovered the devastating impact toxic foods had on mood, attitude, gut biome, brain health, inflammation in the body, and even autism. Within six weeks of moving her family to a fully organic diet, she saw noticeable improvements in her son’s health. And the move to organic food in her household has saved her tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills, too.
A former fashion designer and artist, Honeycutt transformed herself into a fierce protector of America’s most precious resource: its children. She’s also an author and podcaster, and she founded Moms Across America to fill a gaping void in defending children’s health – by testing toxic foods and exposing what she found. With chapters from coast to coast, Honeycutt’s organization has done tremendous work shedding light on the ongoing contamination of American minds and bodies through the toxic food they consume. You don’t want to miss this information-packed 40-minute chat with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna. If you don’t come away from the interview rethinking what you eat, you weren’t paying attention.

Food, farming, and freedom at the Rogue Food Conference
The Rogue Food Conference was born several years ago when friends Joel Salatin and John Moody were lamenting the lack of a conference that gave people ways to circumvent rather than comply with onerous rules and regulations to bring great food and wellness products to consumers. Instead of waiting for it to happen, they created it themselves.
Now in its fifth year, the Rogue Food Conference brings together leading thinkers and doers in the food and farming space, as well as seasoned and aspiring entrepreneurs looking to restore healthy nutrition and resilient strategies for sourcing food.
Moody is not just the co-founder of the Rogue Food Conference, he’s also the founder of the Whole Life Buying Club. In this discussion with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, he gives viewers an inside look at how he started the buyer’s club, how that cascaded into the Rogue Food Conference with Joel, and also the plans he has to expand the conferences to include Rogue Finance and Rogue Health and Wellness. An engaging and interesting interview worth 50 minutes of your time.

The advantages of living in a failed state
When chaos reigns, like it does in a failed state, there can be significant upsides. That’s one of the themes of this wide-ranging conversation with Jeremy Nell, a South African political cartoonist and podcaster. He and Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, touch on art and satire, anger and evolving beliefs, politics and podcasting, echo chambers and impossible conversations. Learn why Nell thinks there’s liberty in chaos, why it’s bad to be black-pilled, and why it’s hard to be satirical when life is so absurd.

How to stand up for freedom
The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is under threat and it’s time to stand up for freedom. So says John W. Whitehead, the founder of The Rutherford Institute and a constitutional lawyer who has made a career fighting for people’s freedom. How (and why) to invest in farms & ranches
Investing in farms, ranches, agricultural technology and other ‘agribusinesses’ is an amazing way to help secure our food supply and put money into something tangible in our uncertain economic times. Chris Rawley, founder and CEO of Harvest Returns, has an online platform that allows investors to support farms, ranches, and other projects in the agriculture investment space. In this conversation with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, he explains why this is an important place to put your money, how Harvest Returns works to carefully balance risk and opportunity, and some of the returns that investors can expect — including perhaps one of the most important: knowing exactly where your food comes from.

Can objective science be saved? (Hint: Yes, it can)
We need objective science now more than ever, at a time in history when it is increasingly hard to separate fact from fiction.
During the pandemic, we saw clearly what happens when we fail to see the difference between actual science and the narratives we’re told to believe. Dr. James Lyons-Weiler is fighting to save science so it can save us.
The founder of the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge - IPAK - Dr. Lyons-Weiler is an advocate for objective science and ethical research practices. He has a background in biology, genetics, and public health and he has dedicated his career to advancing knowledge.
In this podcast, he talks about how science has been corrupted, and - more importantly - how it can be fixed.

Would a pandemic treaty make the world safer? (No, but it might make some countries richer)
Negotiators are meeting in Geneva to discuss a new pandemic treaty, plus changes to a decades-old agreement called the International Health Regulations (IHR). Much of the proceedings are happening behind closed doors and the public isn’t being accurately informed. Researcher James Roguski explains why the pandemic treaty and the IHR amendments are more about trade than health, why they are so contentious, and why governments are rushing to get them agreed in the next few months. Plus, he shares ways you can take action.

How to reduce your cancer risk (and fire your doctor)
Dr. Paul Marik explains how to reduce your cancer risk with simple lifestyle changes, supplements, over-the-counter medicines, and repurposed drugs. Plus, he tells us about a better way to ease the burden of cancer treatment.
Dr. Marik has never been afraid to buck the trend in medicine. He’s come up with ways to use Vitamin C for sepsis, repurposed drugs for COVID, and now comes this good news about how to reduce the risk of cancer and treat it if it does happen.
Cancer rates are rising around the world, with millions diagnosed every year. And while treatments like chemotherapy and radiation offer a greater chance of survival, side effects often make the cure worse than the disease.
Dr. Marik also has some advice for what to do if your doctor doesn’t listen. You don’t want to miss this conversation!

Comparing Bitcoin and Gold (which one is a better investment?)
An early pioneer of the Internet, Mark Jeftovic (aka The Bitcoin Capitalist) compares bitcoin and gold, illuminates the benefits of a decentralized society, and offers advice on how to thrive in such a system.
In this truthy conversation with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, Jeftovic lays bare the current forces – and counterforces – at work in the West. From cancel culture, to the dying legacy media, to the disgruntled ‘normies,’ to sound money, to Universal Basic Income and the massive debt problem, he covers it with a simplicity and frankness that anyone can easily understand.
Better still, if you’re trying to compare bitcoin and gold and how each could potentially fit into your toolkit for an uncertain world and give you “optionality,” you don’t want to miss this conversation. Jeftovic’s thorough Bitcoin 101 – and how Central Bank Digital Currencies are not the equivalent – will help you make sense of a rapidly changing world and what you can do to protect yourself.

Protect your wealth with gold (how to take action now!)
This interview’s overarching message is clear: you can protect your wealth with gold by taking important action now, before governments undergo debt collapse.
Egon von Greyerz is a classic ‘elder statesman’ — sanguine, succinct, and sagacious. He embodies the very best of the precious metals business he’s worked in for 20+ years. In short, he IS gold.
As the founder and chairman of Matterhorn Asset Management (now rebranded Von Greyerz AG since the interview), von Greyerz embarks on a forthright but gracious chat with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna. He covers: why you should beware of paper gold; avoid derivative gold; get yourself physical gold and store it outside of a crumbling banking system. If this resonates even a little, you’re going to love Egon von Greyerz and his timely advice.

The need to transform our food system (and how you can help)
We can transform our food system by getting back in the kitchen and making our own meals again. So says Joel Salatin, owner of Polyface Farms and a legend in the sustainable food movement. If you’re not eating leftovers on a regular basis, he says you might be part of the problem. Salatin explains to Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, that consumer demand is absolutely what will drive the needed food system transformation.
This interview is at once funny and tender. True to his hardworking farmer roots, Salatin shoots straight from the hip and is passionate about his mission – not just to change farming in America, but to change Americans’ relationship to farmers. He knows humanity will be healthier when we know what we’re putting into their bodies. Don’t miss this wide-ranging chat about liberty, faith, farming, and so much more.

Sincere speech is the remedy to mass formation (and loneliness)

In a fascinating discussion with host, Zahra Sethna, the esteemed professor, author, and clinical psychologist, recounts the taxonomy of mass formation – from the physical masses of the 16th century to the creation of the ‘lonely masses’ we see today. This is Dr. Desmet at his very best – sincere, frank, unedited – not only recapping the purposes of propaganda for control and how that puts us on the cusp of a global totalitarian state, but also what he believes to be the solutions. This is a beautiful conversation you don’t want to miss.

Decoding the Disinformation Industrial Complex
In today’s podcast interview with Collapse Life host, Zahra Sethna, Paul D. Thacker takes a deep dive into the anatomy of modern disinformation and how it came into its own in the time of COVID. The hour-long chat looks at how the revolving door between public relations agencies, governmental agencies, academia, and the media has poisoned the entire information ecosystem we need to live honestly.
Thacker is the kind of guy you want at your dinner party – he’s funny, insightful, smart as a whip, and entirely affable. And, while his loud laugh is infectious, his knowledge of the disinformation space is unrivaled.
