We are to worship God in the Spirit. Lester Sumrall once asked Smith Wigglesworth, 'How do you get up in the morning?' Wigglesworth replied, "I jump out of bed! I dance before the Lord for at least 10 to 12 minutes of high-speed dancing. I jump up and down and run around my room telling God how great He is, how wonderful He is, how glad I am to be associated with Him and to be His child." What David and Smith both did was throw themselves fully, passionately into Worship of God. They didn’t care what they looked like. The whole point is Passion. Passion has a look. In the OT it was David dancing. In the NT it’s worshiping God in Spirit and Truth. Which at times involves dancing or shouting or running or falling as you yield to the power. This is not something that can be worked up in the flesh. It can be imitated by fleshly actions, but God sees through it and people will too. Every time. It can, however, be stirred up. 2 Timothy 1:6-8 When you fear God. You don’t fear other people. 2 Corinthians 5:11 Sometimes Passion is silent. We have to learn to quiet our minds. Kenneth E. Hagin - How You Can Be Led By the Spirit of God: “As we learn to quiet our minds, the Holy Spirit will communicate with our spirit through the Word of God and unveil truths to us. For many people, it's much easier to get quiet physically than it is to get quiet mentally. We lie down at night and our body is quiet, but our mind is racing. The more we quiet our minds and think on the Word of God, the more the Holy Spirit will speak to our human spirit. This is how He becomes the dominant force in our lives. Then we will almost never make mistakes when we give heed to our spirits.” Sometimes passion waits. "Some of the old- time Pentecostals knew something about that deeper move of the Spirit. During those times when the Presence of God came into our services, no one moved; an awesome Presence filled the room. I wish I could describe that awesome Presence to you. Some things are just too reverent to talk about and it's hard to find words to describe them. But I've seen the awesome Presence of God come in and fill the temple. I long to see the Body of Christ experience that Presence on a continual basis!” John 4:23–24 1 Corinthians 14:15 Acts 16:25 Let’s not grow weary in well doing. Let’s pursue God like we’ve never pursued Him before. Let’s step out into not caring what people might think of us. What if: we humbled ourselves like David did by dancing? we pursued God with a reckless abandon? we pressed the envelope? we were willing to lose our lives in pursuit of Him? we had the guts to go for it? Worshiping Him, without reserve, without restraint, full out, full bore, unashamed. It starts in the secret place where it’s just you and God. And what happens with hidden things? When your hidden thing is wild, abandoned passion for God, it will show up. All the time.

They're so important why each and every person in the Body of Christ has been gifted. You can't earn the gifts of the Spirit, but you can learn, you can understand, you can receive truth, and you can receive teaching on the operations of the gifts of the Spirit They the weapons of your warfare that's why they can't be put on a shelf somewhere. It has to be out in front. The more knowledge, the greater understanding of the subject of the of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit, the gifts of the spirit will flow more directly and more easily and accomplish greater things because that's what God gave them for. They're supposed to be for everybody. They're not designed for just the preachers, not just for the fivefold ministry. They are supposed to function in everybody's life. If you don't understand them, then you'll flounder and you'll make mistakes; overuse something, abuse something. And that's that's what's been happening in the past. God cannot bless ignorance. Don't allow foolishness to creep in to your belief system and start stealing from you when it comes time to put your confidence and trust in the Holy Ghost. There are scriptures after scriptures after scriptures to cause you to gain a greater confidence as you proceed. If the Holy Spirit is to function fully in our lives, we must have an open heart, a consuming desire. Remember seek, knock, and ask? That's our part.

In the last several months I have heard more Christians and non-Christians speak of the darkness of the world . I want you to notice in God's Word what happened when there was darkness. Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. We don't need to compete with the world. We need to agree with the Word and work with the Word. We need to live and act like we're the redeemed. We need to live and act like we're the delivered from sin and death. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. This is life in the Spirit. The life in the Spirit is a life of more than being a conqueror. It doesn't matter what the enemy's trying to establish in your mind, in your body, in your family, in your sphere of influence, in your home, in your neighborhood, in your church, in your nation, in the world. When you know who you are, when you know what's already been done, you've got to have a shout. You have to have a praise. Yes, we're in the natural world. But don't spend so much time on the natural. Spend greater time in the realm of the Spirit. It's not a day of oppression. It's not a day to think anything other than the abundant life in the Spirit that makes us more than the conquerors. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. Is it by is it by our power and might? No. But how does His power get activated in us? James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. When you move, God moves. Religion wants you to sit prim and proper and bring no attention to yourself. But God wants you to draw nigh to Him. It's possible to be led of the Spirit and instantly to obey when you spend time praying in the Holy Ghost and time in the Word. Don't let fear paralyze you. Fear shows up in many different ways. Give no place to fear. God says, Fear not. Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. You have nothing to fear. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. He doesn't do it for us. He helps us. Verse 31. He has a part and we have a part. He wants us to partner with Him. Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. I encourage you to draw nigh to Him. The Holy Spirit, in Genesis, moved. He moved at the spoken Word of God. God's Word has been spoken here. Now it's up to you draw nigh to Him.

In 1947 brother Smith Wigglesworth, a true servant of God, prophesied that at the end of the age there would be a marrying of the Word and the Spirit. There would be two distinct moves that came first and many would think that that was the appointed time. But he said by the Spirit neither of those is the last move. So those moves came. And we desire for that greater move. Many are fearful of the move of the Spirit. Every time the Lord manifest Himself, it was fear not. So we don't need to be afraid of God. 1 Corinthians 12 :1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. God doesn't want us to be ignorant of things pertaining to and of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a Person. he's not an it . he's not a ghost that shows up or leaves on a whim. He is a person, and these are things that we find in the concerning Him: He is God. He has attributes. He has a personality. He has functions. There are over 50 names in the Word of God for the Holy Spirit. There are symbols that represent the Holy Spirit; dove, fire, oil, wind, water, wine. He showed forth Himself in the ministry of Jesus. He is a great comforter. He has a dual work; being born of the Spirit and being filled with the Spirit. He manifests in salvation. He manifest Himself at pentecost. He was in demonstration in the book of Acts. And in Christ's ministry when He walked on the earth. He manifests in ministry. He will manifest in prayer. He truly is manifesting in these last days. He will visit and manifest the spiritually hungry. We don't make these demonstrations happen. That's where people can get into error. They may pray. They may get a line. They may get something, and they think it's for right then. Praying in tongues claiming somebody else's husband, somebody else's home, somebody else's car is nonsense. That is not God's nature or His character. If you don't leave with anything today, leave with this permanent thought, let it seer in your very heart: it is the spoken Word that you release through your mouth that God's Spirit can work with. Nothing else. Confession is obedience to God's guidance and instruction in His Holy Written Word. Philemon 1:6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual. Here are some demonstrations of the Spirit: Dancing in the Spirit. Manifestation of physical death. Being drunk in the Spirit. Laughter. Joy. Dumb in the Spirit. Falling under the power. Gifts of the Spirit. Leaping. Running in the Spirit. Shouting in the Spirit. All of these are manifestations of the Spirit.

So, last last service as soon as I walked in the Holy Ghost said have them keep singing. These up here, they can't be performers. If you're trying to perform up here to look good, you won't be anointed. It just won't happen. It takes some determination to stand in front of even any number of people and forget about what you look like, what you have. To humble yourself and get pride out of the way. Every example I give is a lesson, if you'll listen. I'm teaching you how to put God first in all situations and circumstances in life. And then when you really really need Him, you won't have to wait. His presence is there, and His Word within you. I'm telling you you can be in a place that has been named The Miracle Church by God himself and just stand there and let them do the singing. Let somebody beside of you do the worshiping. Let your wife do the shouting, the praising. Let your husband be the one. John 4:23 and 24 But the hour cometh and now is. When is now? Not last week. Not tomorrow. Not even 5 minutes. It's now. When the what kind of worshipers? True worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such. God, your heavenly Father, is seeking for you to worship. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Acts 2:1 When the day was fully come - this day has already occurred. It was never intended, believers, was never intended, saints, for this to be a one-time experience, and then it was over. That's the lie the enemy has sold many religious teachers in the body. It's not over. It was the beginning. Okay? When the day came, they were what? How many was it, just one or two? Was it just the praisers and the singers? What's all mean? Not excluding any. Hold your hand up towards heaven. Say, Father I - you're chosen, you're anointed, your child - I have a supply to give. I know that's everyone in here. No one's excluded. Introvert. Extrovert. Shy, bold, employed, unemployed, young, old, occupation doesn't matter what it is. Practice makes perfect. Speaking in tongues, talking to God, makes perfect the rest and the refreshing. I'm refreshed. I come in here refreshed and rested. Acts 4:23 Being let go they went to their own company. This is your company. What did they do when they got to their company? Look at verse 24. They lifted up their voice to God - here's that word again, with one accord - and said. But notice they said something. They did something. They said something. Just in case you want to know what God Himself says about worship. Just like we entered in to another dimension, another depth of prayer when the Holy Ghost. The Bible is progressive revelation. Your spiritual development is progressive revelation. Light comes. Scripture says when light comes, walk in that light. When light comes, walk in it. What's he mean by that? The depth of that is when you hear, when knowledge comes, accept that knowledge. Receive that knowledge. Embrace that knowledge. I've received healing when I hadn't been in any meeting at any church. That's what He's wanting to. He's saying to you today: learn. Hear the instructions. Embrace the instructions. Because when a storm comes, you might not be able to get to me or to get to pastor or get the church office. There might not be anyone here. We just need to to get self out of the way. How do you do that? You just focus on you and Him. You and Him. And He will instruct you what to do.

The importance of life changes when this revelation comes. When we start to understand it, the way we react to people changes. Understanding the image of God and getting the real, true image of who we are in Him are both vital to living a victorious life. There are two paths we can walk down. We can live spiritual or we can live natural. We are created to live in both worlds. But most of the time we allow the wrong world to dominate our lives because it was the first world we learned. Before we were raised to life in Christ Jesus, we were only natural people, governed by the wrong spirit. After the death and resurrection of Jesus, we could step onto the spirit path, because our spirits have been made new. The Spirit of God now resides on the inside of every believer. And The Holy Spirit can now work from the inside out. Getting upset at the little things in life shows that a person doesn't have the proper image of God or the proper image of him or herself. When we look at ourselves we shouldn't see what the world says we are, we should see the image of Jesus Christ. That is how God sees us. That's what He says in His Word. When we identify ourselves as something other that what God says we are, we are lying. Because God can't lie. He sees what we truly are in Him. We ought to adjust our understanding of our image to line up with what He sees. There is a better way. God has promised us abundant life, full of His promises and replete with His glory. We have to engage our imagination to develop the real, true image of Who He is inside of us. We have to see what it says in the Word and meditate on it, intentionally seeing Him as He is and seeing ourselves as who we are. As we see God more clearly in the scriptures, the more He gets brighter and clearer in our minds and in our hearts, and He also gets larger in our lives and a bigger part of our lives. We become brighter and more beautiful as we see God as He really is. As He becomes brighter in our life, we start looking and living more like Him. This is the whole point. The more we receive the revelation and knowledge of our God and our minds, the greater the change in our lives from glory to glory. The glory of God in our lives and on our lives is the presence of God in our lives and on our lives. Why is He in us? He's in us to put us over. He is the greater one, greater than he that is in the world. We are to acknowledge and start developing that image of the greater one in us. We don't have to shrink back. As He becomes brighter in our lives, we start looking and living more like Him. The more we receive the revelation and knowledge of our God in our minds, the greater the change in our lives. For example, Hannah took Samuel to the temple. God isn't telling you to drop your kid off at your church. Moses's first encounter with God was the burning bush. At that encounter, He was instructed to introduce the children of Israel to the true and living God. God wants people to know Him. Children included. It's the responsibility of parents to train their children in the knowledge of God. How? Talk about Him, day and night. Tell your children how good God is and what He has done for you. Pray with them. Take them to church. Study the Bible with them. Children need to be trained. They don't need to flounder around trying to figure life out on their own. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. It's difficult to train up a child in God if you don't know God. If you want more of God, more of His presence, more of His blessing in your life, you're going to have to train yourself too. Morality is a good foundation. Everyone should be taught it. But knowing God is far greater than just morality. Children need to be taught about salvation. Children need to be taught to honor and obey their parents. No matter the situation, don't give up on your kids. Put you trust in God, not in people, not in organizations, not in anything other than God Himself. God can do things beyond what we can even think. God loves you. God loves your child. Don't ever give up.

His way is the opposite of what we normally see. People want to see it in order to believe it. God wants us to believe it in order to see it. If we want to actually have faith in God, we have to get to know Him, not just know about Him. If not, faith become religion. And religion has no power. The best time to spend with God is first thing in the morning. We ought to read His Word and then meditate on it throughout the day, thanking Him for His Word. We need to be wise and spend our time on the epistles of Paul. The whole Bible is true, but not all of it pertains to the Body of Christ. The totality of the Mystery of the Body of Christ has been revealed to us through the writings of Paul. Expectation requires determination. Are you determined to receive from God. In Mark 5, the woman with the issue of blood was determined to receive. She declared and acted upon her belief that if she touched Jesus' robe, she would be healed. And her words came to pass. Her faith did it. Jesus told her so. She was under the law, not under grace. How much more can we under grace have the same kind of faith and trust. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith. We MUST believe that 1) He IS and 2) He REWARDS those who diligently seek Him. We have been given the measure of faith, but more faith, an increase of faith, comes by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of God. There is no faith in ignorance. Faith comes when we know what He has said about any situation we find ourselves in. We cannot believe without hearing first. Matthew 9 tells the tale of two blind men who sought after Jesus. When He asked them if they believed that He could heal them, they both replied yes. Jesus told them, according to THEIR faith it would be done to them. It wasn't His power alone. It was faith in His power. Expectation makes you move out in faith. You will position yourself where there is nothing to stand on except what you believe. No handrail. This is exactly what He wants, that we believe Him and trust Him so much that we make ourselves vulnerable. The world may call you a fool. But God is calling your blessed.

The world has been lied to. But the people of God will ALWAYS have a platform that is bigger than the lie. 2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; God knows the future. He knows the beginning from the end. There are too many people in the world today that are confused because they do not know and believe what is written in the Word of God. Believing requires speaking. Without speaking, it doesn't become faith. It sits back in the realm of mental agreement. There is no victory in mental agreement. When you build yourself up on your faith, when you study and pray, you make your faith victorious. Deception is on the way, but we do not have to be deceived. How? We must prepare for a conflict with deception. We must know what God says and say it. This is exactly how Jesus defeated the temptation that satan brought. Those who have been justified will live by faith. Faith is how you defeat anything that comes against you.

One is the image of God Himself, and the other is our own image. There are two paths because we are made to be in two worlds. One is a spiritual path, and one is a natural path. In this dispensation, the church age, God works in man’s life from the inside out. Getting upset over the little things in life shows that we do not have the proper image of God or of ourselves. We need to get the proper images from the Word of God so we can speak from the inside out, not the outside in. God’s creation should inspire us to seek His true image and the truth of His Word. It’s time to see ourselves as the overcoming, victorious church that we are. Where do we see this? In our minds. We need to see ourselves continually as God sees us. When this real, true image is developed inside of us, then we start releasing that image out of our mouths. Then these words start to come to pass in our lives. God’s glory is His excellence, greatness of power, His beauty, strength, honor, and grace. We should be changing every day into His image from one degree of glory to even more glory. This change comes from the inside, not the outside. We start looking and living more like Him. God is in us to put us over. The more we receive the revelation and knowledge of our God in our minds, the greater the change in our lives from glory to glory to glory. We start thinking like God. Our living becomes like Him. It’s on the inside and works to the outside. A life of conforming to God’s image is the life every Christian is called to live.
