Artist Blueprint LIVE - Working in Phoenix - May 19th 2024
Filming the conference for the National Health Care for the Homeless Council in Phoenix was an incredibly fulfilling experience. The event brought together dedicated professionals and advocates, all committed to addressing the critical issue of homelessness and healthcare. Capturing the dynamic discussions and insightful presentations on camera was both a privilege and a challenge, as it required meticulous attention to detail to ensure every significant moment was documented. The state-of-the-art venue, with its excellent lighting and acoustics, enhanced the quality of the footage, making it a joy to work in such a professional environment. Through the lens, I was able to witness firsthand the passionate debates, innovative solutions, and collaborative spirit that defined the conference.
Beyond the technical aspects of filming, the experience was deeply educational and personally enriching. Engaging with attendees and speakers during breaks provided a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding healthcare for the homeless population. Hearing their stories and learning about their tireless efforts to make a difference was inspiring. Phoenix, with its unique desert landscapes and vibrant city life, served as a beautiful and fitting backdrop for such an impactful event. The support and camaraderie among the crew and the organizers made the process smooth and enjoyable. Reflecting on the experience, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause through my work, and I leave with a renewed sense of purpose and a wealth of new knowledge.

Tommy Burke - April 30th 2024
We welcome back Tommy Burke to the show!! His book, Not Just Sunglasses and Autographs is a captivating autobiography that follows the author's journey from bar bouncing in Boston to working on award-winning television shows and movies. This is an endearing story of overcoming the odds through dark humor, tenacity, authenticity, and happiness. Initially envisioned as a memoir about a man who had beaten Hodgkin's Lymphoma and lived to tell the tale, the author was then thrown a major curveball with a Parkinson's disease diagnosis. Equal parts pep-talk and gut-punch, this unvarnished and vulnerable memoir-meets-handbook shares lessons learned in life and work. These pages encourage readers to keep moving forward, embrace resilience, step out of their comfort zones, and take life head on.

Artist Blueprint - Part 2- The rebirth of Music Marketing - March 12th 2024
www.artistblueprint.live
The landscape of music marketing has undergone a seismic shift in recent years, with traditional methods facing disruption and, in some cases, becoming obsolet. The development of social media platforms and other new technologies has dismantled the old gatekeeping systems, allowing artists direct access to their audiences like never before. Gone are the days when record labels held a monopoly on promotion and distribution. Now, musicians can cultivate their fan base independently, leveraging platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to showcase their talent and engage with listeners on a personal level. This democratization of music marketing has democratized access to success, opening doors for independent artists and fostering a more diverse and dynamic industry.
However, with this newfound freedom comes a new set of challenges and opportunities. While social media has empowered artists to connect directly with fans, it has also intensified the competition for attention in an increasingly crowded digital landscape. Successful marketing strategies now require a savvy blend of authenticity, creativity, and data-driven insights to cut through the noise and make an impact. Moreover, emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning offer exciting possibilities for targeted advertising and personalized experiences, allowing artists to tailor their promotional efforts with unprecedented precision. As the music industry continues to evolve in this digital age, those who can harness the power of social media and other new technologies stand poised to thrive in this era of rebirth and innovation.

Artist Blueprint - Late Night With...?? - February 6th 2024
John Henry Soto and George Batista, hosts of the show Artist Blueprint LIVE, have garnered attention for their dynamic chemistry, sharp wit, and insightful interviews with artists from various fields. With their engaging personalities and knack for entertaining storytelling, they stand as strong contenders for the role of late-night hosts. Soto's background in film and television production coupled with Batista's experience in health and wellness plus music make them a formidable duo poised to inject fresh energy into the late-night landscape. Their inclusive approach to storytelling and commitment to showcasing diverse voices could resonate well with modern audiences, potentially paving the way for them to become the next generation of late-night hosts, ushering in a new era of humor, creativity, and cultural relevance.
The Late Night Wars refer to the intense competition among late-night television talk shows for viewership and ratings, particularly during the late-night time slots. This phenomenon became prominent in the United States in the 1990s with the rise of shows like "The Tonight Show," "Late Show with David Letterman," and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." These programs, often hosted by charismatic comedians or personalities, engage in witty banter, celebrity interviews, and satirical commentary on current events. The rivalry between hosts and networks led to fierce battles for guests, time slots, and advertising revenue, fueling a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape in late-night television.
The Late Night Wars have continued into the 21st century with the emergence of new contenders such as "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," and "The Late Late Show with James Corden." Additionally, the advent of streaming platforms and digital media has expanded the battleground beyond traditional television, with hosts leveraging social media and online platforms to engage with audiences and promote their shows. Despite shifts in viewing habits and technological advancements, the competitive spirit of the Late Night Wars endures, driving innovation and creativity in late-night programming as hosts strive to captivate audiences and remain relevant in an increasingly crowded media landscape.

Artist Blueprint - Be-Do-Have - January 9th 2024
The Conditions of Existence
THERE ARE THREE CONDITIONS-OF-EXISTENCE. These three conditions comprise (make up, constitute) life.
They are BE, DO and HAVE.
The first condition of existence is BEING.
Being is defined as “the assumption (choosing) of a category of identity.” It could be said to be the role in a game.
An example of beingness could be one’s own name. Another example would be one’s profession. Another example would be one’s physical characteristics. Each or all of these things could be called one’s beingness.
Beingness is assumed by oneself, or given to oneself, or is attained.
For example, in the playing of a game each player has his own beingness.
The second condition of existence is DOING.
By doing we mean “action, function, accomplishment, the attainment of goals, the fulfilling of purpose, or any change of position in space.”
The third condition of existence is HAVINGNESS.
By havingness we mean “owning, possessing, being capable of commanding, positioning, taking charge of objects, energies or spaces.” The essential definition of having is “to be able to touch, or permeate, or to direct the disposition of.”
The game of life demands that one assumes a beingness in order to accomplish a doingness in the direction of havingness.
These three conditions are given in an order of seniority (importance) where life is concerned. The ability to be is more important than the ability to do. The ability to do is more important than the ability to have. In most people all three conditions are sufficiently confused that they are best understood in reverse order. When one has clarified the idea of havingness (or possession), one can then proceed to clarify doingness (or general activity) and when this is done one understands beingness (or identity).
It is essential to a successful existence that each of these three conditions be clarified and understood. The ability to assume or to grant (give, allow) beingness is probably the highest of human virtues. It is even more important to be able to permit other people to have beingness than to be able, oneself, to assume it. L Ron Hubbard

Counterparts - Best of 2022 - Kenny Aronoff
Kenny Aronoff is one of the most influential and in-demand drummers and percussionists in the world. He has entertained millions of people with his drumming, has played on thousands of records, and has been the “go-to” drummer for the biggest stars in music while providing the beat of American culture over four decades! https://kennyaronoff.com/
Kenny grew up in a big country farmhouse in a small town of 3,000 people in the hills of western Massachusetts. He was a self-taught drummer who at the young age of 16 decided to learn how to play timpani, mallets, and legit snare drum. He studied and played with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, including world-renowned timpanist Vic Firth. He went on to study for one year at the university of Massachusetts and four years at Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana, where among other honors, he was awarded the school’s prestigious performer’s certificate. During summer breaks, when he wasn’t studying timpani with Vic Firth, he played in symphony orchestras at the Aspen Music Festival (run by the Juilliard School of Music) and the Tanglewood Music Festival (run by the Boston Symphony Orchestra). After graduating, Kenny was offered timpani positions in several symphony orchestras, but instead said “no” because he still wanted to be in a rock ‘n’ roll band and be part of a team of musicians that recorded music and toured the world, just like The Beatles did. Kenny spent one year studying drum set with Alan Dawson in Boston and Gary Chester in New York before moving back to Bloomington to start his own band, “Streamwinner“.
