Election Integrity in Minnesota

It is clear that the 2020 election in many states, including Minnesota, wasn’t carried out according to the law. Secretary of State Steve Simon, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and liberal activist group Democracy Docket worked to change the rules of our election, completely contrary to the laws we have in our state, in order to conduct an illegal election. On May 4, 2020, Rep. Jeremy Munson introduced an amendment that would allow for free and fair elections, as well as protect from having to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money on special elections.

In 2019, Minnesota House Democrats proposed a laundry list of items that had little to nothing to do with preserving the integrity of our elections.

Gov. Tim Walz interfered with the Minnesota legislature's Conference Committee negotiations on a bill related to elections. The question is why?

Donald Trump lost to Joe Biden in Minnesota by a margin of 233,012 votes. Long considered a blue state, Minnesota has been trending closer to being a swing state in the past few elections (2008: D+10, ’12: D+8, ’16: D+2). Voter fraud is hard to prove in Minnesota because of election laws that make it easy to cheat and that was before Marc Elias came to Minnesota and was successful in weakening them further. Occasionally, a few cases come to trial because the ballot harvesters and traffickers screw up and provide a glimpse into how fraud is done. We believe this is one of these cases.

Rep. Cal Bahr proposed an amendment to the State Government and Elections, Veterans, Pensions and Transportation Finance omnibus bill (HF 4293), stating that a canvassing board may not certify its report on the results of an election until all duties of ballot reconciliation and post-election review are complete. House members would not take a roll call vote so the public could see how they voted on this amendment, and they did not pass it.

On April 7, 2022, in the State Government Finance Committee meeting, Rep. Steve Drazkowski offered an election integrity amendment to the committee omnibus bill. It called for absentee ballots to be fully reconciled, by the process already described in the law, before the election results are certified. There is a description in state law of how this is supposed to happen, but it doesn't prohibit certification before reconciliation. This Amendment would have changed that by making it clear, no certification before all ballots are reconciled. Guess who voted against election integrity?
