Picked up some Japanese Lilac trees to hide our sightly 3 wall garden shed.

So my 2' long pieces of pipe have become loose in the wet soil and with the high winds today, the dock has pulled these two pipes over. To fix it, I have two light pipes the are 8' long to replace the 2 footers, I highly doubt any wind will pull them over.

Also changed out the check valve on the sump pump discharge line, this will drastically slow down how often the sump pump turns on. And our Hammered Copper Water Matka arrived and we are excited to only drink our water from it. But first it is filtered through our Big Berkey water filter. music - Vis Major - Opal

We blew all the holes in the weed barrier fabric with the tiger torch. Then we planted lots of potatoes, corn, rhubarb, shallots, onions and some strawberries. music - Hadar Sopher - All the Way Up - No Lead Vocals

This year we are covering the whole garden in landscape fabric, and then burning holes where we want to plant with a tiger torch. So far, we like it. Nice to walk on and makes the garden look clean.

I spent my day in the studio arguing with the printer, trying to convince it to simply print me some 5x7 cards. Shame on you Canon Pro 1000. However the printer did print 80 glossy cards flawlessly and the back plain side to, so 160 passes with no issues. Switched to matte double sided cards, same 5x7 size, and the problems began. Either the printer would not detect and load the sheet or it would jam after loading the sheet. Cost me my day to print 80 cards front and back. #canonprinter Anyone know of a good ink jet printer that handles cut sheets down to 5x7?

Our ditch filled up from all the rain, and it has no where to go, so we need to pump it out. I tried leaving it there the last time it happened, but the water sat there so long that it killed all the grass. music - Brianna Tam - Edge of Possibility - No Melody

It does not rain here often, so when it does, its a big deal. So the family and I went to find some big puddles to drive though. The only troublesome flooding we found was the big dip on the Trans-Canada highway was not draining fast enough, resulting in single lane closure. Medicine Hat set a new single day record for rainfall on Tuesday. Environment Canada reported 73.3 millimetres of rain had been received at the airport as of midnight last night. The previous single day rainfall record was set in May of 1901, when 40.1 millimetres was received. Meanwhile, a rainfall warning remains in place into Wednesday.
