23 Domestic Terrorists Charged for Wreaking Havoc on Atlanta Police Training Center -Justice Served!
The Atlanta Police Department announced the arrests of 23 people following a music festival that turned into a violent protest at the location where Atlanta plans to build a police and fire training facility.
On Sunday, around 5:30 p.m., police said a group of violent agitators used the cover of a peaceful protest to create a coordinated attack on construction equipment and police officers at the proposed Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.
Atlanta officials stated the group changed into all black, went inside the construction area, and threw large rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at law enforcement.
“This is not a protest,” APD officials said at a press conference Sunday night. “This wasn’t about a public training center; this was about anarchy.”
Authorities said the illegal activity could have resulted in bodily harm; no injuries were reported.

American fentanyl crisis 'unleashed on purpose' by Mexican cartels, AG Garland says
Attorney General Merrick Garland says Mexican drug cartels unleashed the fentanyl crisis on the U.S. "on purpose," and urged the Mexican government to "do more" to combat drug trafficking.
Garland made the statement while testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., pressed Garland regarding the opioid epidemic, highlighting that fentanyl is responsible for more deaths than guns and car accidents.
"It's a horrible epidemic, but it's an epidemic that's been unleashed on purpose by the Sinaloa and the new generation Jalisco cartels," Garland said.

Train Derailment in East Palestine, Ohio Leads to Health Concerns and Class Action Lawsuits
The Ohio Health Department is launching a clinic in East Palestine on Tuesday to address mounting health concerns among residents after a train derailment prompted Norfolk Southern officials to release and burn a toxic chemical in the area to avoid an explosion.
The department said in a news release Sunday that it would open the clinic in partnership with the Columbiana County Health Department and with support from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
It said the clinic, which opens at noon, will be available to East Palestine-area residents “who have medical questions or concerns related to the recent train derailment.”
The state attorney general's office has indicated it plans to take legal action against Norfolk Southern after a 150-car train carrying hazardous chemicals derailed Feb. 3.

UFO's or Spy Balloons, what are we shooting out of the sky?
White House officials said Monday that three unidentified flying objects shot down since Friday posed a “very real” threat to civilian air traffic but were not sending out communications signals.
John F. Kirby, a spokesman for the National Security Council, also said the military had not yet identified the source of the objects or what their purpose was. And he said there was no indication that Americans on the ground were in danger.

BJ's Restaurant falls after recent closure of Cracker Barrel & Stanfords in Portland neighborhood
BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse at Jantzen Beach is set to close permanently on Feb. 21 after 26 years in operation, the parent company confirmed last week.
The company did not give a reason for the closure in a statement to KGW, saying only that the decision was "by no means an easy one" and encouraged customers to visit other BJ's locations in the area.
The company only operates two other Oregon restaurants, according to its website — one in Hillsboro and one in Eugene — although it does also have four restaurants throughout the Puget Sound area in Washington.
An internal memo sent to restaurant staff and shared with KGW didn't offer much more specificity, stating only that the closure is expected to be permanent "due to changing business needs" and offering staff a bonus for staying until Feb. 21 and an opportunity to transfer to Hillsboro or another BJ's location.

Asheville, NC a Democrat-run tourist town sees 200% surge in break-ins amid violent crime spike
The Asheville Police Department, which responded to 41 break-ins throughout 2022, has already fielded 11 reports of break-ins in 2023 as of Feb. 1, according to local ABC affiliate WLOS.
Chris Faber, whose bar in downtown Asheville was targeted twice last month within a span of a few days, told the outlet that a suspect broke into his establishment and stole about 20 bottles of whiskey and up to $800 in cash.
The suspect was then reportedly recorded on surveillance video breaking into a neighboring business and stealing from its cash register.

Seattle Health Officials Blame Drug Crisis on Racism
Seattle Public Health addressed the continuing problem of drug overdoses and deaths in the city and King County as a whole, claiming that racism is one of the reasons for the crisis.
The finger-pointing was part of a statement that acknowledged that from 2021 to 2022 there was a 40% increase in overdose deaths, with fentanyl being a key culprit.
"The underlying root causes that have resulted in the current overdose crisis are, unfortunately, not ones that will be reversed overnight," Seattle Public Health Communications Specialist Sharon Bogan said in a statement to local KIRO 7. "Structural factors, including lack of economic opportunities, social isolation, structural racism, criminalization of substance use disorders, housing stability, and stigma, are just some of the factors that will require long-term, systematic changes and resources at all levels, from federal to state to local."

Plan for RV Safe Lot in Seattle Stalls (SHOCKING!) While Officials Search for Host for 35-40 RV's
A plan to create a designated lot for people living in RVs in Seattle has stalled while officials search for a property owner who is willing to host the program.
The King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) awarded a $1.9 million contract to the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) last summer with the goal of opening the RV lot as soon as possible.
“If we could just find somebody to be a hero and offer us the 30,000 - 40,000 square feet we are looking for, we could make this program happen very quickly," said Jon Grant, the chief strategy officer of LIHI. "This is a program that would come with 24/7 staffing, case management and services - so there really isn’t a huge risk to the property owner."
The program would allow between 35 to 40 RVs at a time, and the residents would work with caseworkers to connect with long-term housing options.

King County Homeless agency proposes $25.5 Billion over 5 years to "end homelessness"
The King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) released a draft plan that calls for $25.5 billion over five years to end homeless in King County.
They are asking for feedback on the draft, which the public can provide by going to this link. Initially, $8 billion would be used for capital costs and $3.5 billion would be necessary each year for operational costs.
Poll after poll shows that homelessness is a top issue in the state of Washington. Gov. Jay Inslee is devoting $4 billion of his proposed 2023-2025 budget to affordable housing.
"Fundamentally, this (homelessness issue) has occurred because we have not built the housing, the roofs people need to live under,” Governor Inslee said at a press conference.
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell plans to spend $250 million each year for his 2023-2024 budget on affordable housing.

Niketown Store in DT Seattle Permanently Closes as Crime and Safety Issues Persist
The downtown Nike store is shuttering its doors on Friday, marking an end to the storefront’s decadeslong presence in Seattle.
“We look forward to serving you at Nike.com,” read a sign posted in the store windows Tuesday.
The store at Sixth Avenue and Pike Street has been a downtown staple since it opened in 1996. Even before the store opened as NikeTown, a 1994 Seattle Times article called the retailer a “different kind of store” that promised to revive the downtown street corner.
Nike did not respond to a request for comment Tuesday on why the store is closing.

5 Members of Far Left Antifa Arrested for Domestic Terrorism
Five militants part of a violent far-left occupation in south Atlanta were arrested on Tuesday and charged with domestic terrorism and other felony charges.
On Dec. 13, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) launched a raid on the so-called autonomous zone at the site of the future Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. Since June 2021,
Antifa and other far-left extremists from across the US have descended on the location to prevent the construction of what they call a "cop city."
Responding law enforcement were assaulted with rocks and bottles by militants occupying makeshift treehouses. The GBI says it found explosive devices and gasoline after the rioters were cleared from the area.
