After the storm finally passing over, we checked out the park to see if the flooding is improving. Good to see the water on most of the roads are draining quickly. Some drainage basins and canals are still pretty full. We hope the other areas where still have accumulation water can be drained soon. The water pipe of our RV kitchen faucet started leaking. We bought a new faucet and replaced it ourselves. It didn't take too long to replace, just need to make sure you connect the pipes right. Then on to Hearst Castle... You must book a tour to visit this mansion, so book early to plan ahead. The morning light is especially nice for outdoor photography by the Neptune pool with the Aqua jade colored water. The Roman pool is a magnificent indoor pool for this period of time. The joint concept of William Randolph Hearst, the publishing tycoon, and his architect Julia Morgan, was built between 1919 and 1947. The Hearst guest list comprised most of the Hollywood stars of the period including; Charlie Chaplin, Cary Grant and the Marx Brothers, Greta Garbo, Buster Keaton, and Clark Gable. We motor next to Morro Bay to check out Morro Rock and the beautiful Morro Bay Harbor. What a gorgeous location! As the sun is setting we end up in Paso Robles for dinner at the Catch Seafood Bar and Grill. Make sure to sit at the bar where all the action is. We fell in love with this place when we first checked it out. We first planned to stay 2 nights here, but we were loving this place so much, we ended up staying here for almost 2 weeks! That's a record for us! Cava Robles opened in 2018. It is a sister RV park to Wine Country resort, both of which are owned by Sun RV Resorts. We usually stay in these parks when we come to this area. Cava Robles club house has a rustic farmhouse theme! The bistro and bar on site, provides burgers and fries, and pizza night on Fridays from their outdoor wood fired oven. Like this RV park, but you don’t have an RV yet? No problem, they have cottages for rent! Through our camera, you can take a peek inside.
