Here, Jagmeet Singh is shown speaking at a Sikh seminar and calling for terrorism so that Sikhs may achieve various political and other aims. Last time we looked, inciting hatred or violence is a criminal offence. And yet, Jagmeet presently holds a position as leader of the Official Opposition in Parliament. David Hunt from the Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy Canada, joins Doris, Action4Canada’s Homeschool Lead, to discuss the latest comprehensive research and statistics from the Cardus Education Survey, comparing outcomes of homeschoolers and private schoolers (whether religious or non-religious) and public schoolers. The age group for the survey is from 24-39. You will be encouraged to see solid evidence that homeschool graduates are thriving both academically and socially and may help put you at ease knowing you’re on the right path with/to homeschooling. David Hunt, BBA & MPP is the Research Director for the Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy in Canada. David has deep and wide experience including as an entrepreneur, business consultant, and as a director of education programs. David has published over one dozen peer-reviewed research studies, written dozens of columns, hosted multiple forums on education, given dozens of speeches on education-related topics including on the benefits of school choice, and has been widely interviewed by the media over the past decade. Three of David’s research papers have been submitted as evidence and/or referenced by experts in court (or court submissions), including to the Supreme Court of Canada. David also teaches occasional courses at the Melville School of Business at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. David holds a Master of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (with distinction) from Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he was the Dean’s Medal recipient. Reverend Majed El Shafie, President OFWI, joined Tanya Gaw to discuss the newly formed Canadian Task Force for Israel and how there is a direct correlation between supporting Israel and the safety and security of ALL Canadians. We have a common enemy but unfortunately many Canadians have a knee-jerk reaction and are quick to dismiss the rising antisemitism and support for Israel, as they lack the understanding of how our support is critical to the preservation of our own country. If Israel goes down, the West is next. The newly formed Canadian Task Force for Israel's main purpose is to stand beside Israel and the Jewish community during war, and rising antisemitism in Canada and to expose and shut down those who are facilitating and fueling the hate. The City Council of Calgary is hosting public hearings on Calgary's Housing Strategy 2024-2030 - Land Use Amendment Citywide, LOC2024-0017, and Land Use Bylaw Amendments, CPC2024-0213. This Amendment seeks to blanket "upzone" all neighbourhoods to include multi-unit built forms with mixed commercial/residential structures in formerly single residential communities which by-passes the historical process of local area planning and input; effectively denying the public voice in favour of large developers with no vested interest in the community except to profit. The Calgary City Council received a Federal Government "incentive" to push the agenda. Calgarians largely do not support this and have turned out in record numbers to speak at the longest running public hearing Calgary has ever seen. Action4Canada's annual Walk4Revival (W4R) Prayer Walk Campaign began April 23, 2024 and continues until June 12th. Take part by contacting your local chapter. If there isn't a chapter near you then consider organizing a Prayer Walk4Revival in your own community or through your local church.
