Oath
Daily Vitamin
Oath - “Don’t swear an oath by the earth, because it is the rug under God’s feet, and not by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the Great King. And why would you swear by your own head, because it’s not in your power to turn a single hair white or black? But just let your words ring true. A simple ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ will suffice. Anything beyond this springs from a deceiver.” (Matthew 5:34-36, The Passion Translation)
People have good intentions and will make an oath or promise they really don’t want to keep. Don’t make excuses or long explanations why you maybe-can or maybe-can’t — saying ‘maybe’ when you already know the answer. Just let your yes be yes and your no be no!
It’s when we aren’t clear with our answers that we get sideways with people and Daddy God. Become confident in saying your yes and your no!

Authority — “Then Jesus and His disciples went to Capernaum, and He immediately started teaching on the Sabbath day in the synagogue. The people were awestruck by His teaching, because He taught in a way that demonstrated God’s authority, which was quite unlike the religious scholars.” (Mark 1:21-22, The Passion Translation)
Jesus taught in a way that had rarely been done before. It was with authority and power! Today we have many who teach without any such power, let alone with the authority of Jesus, Daddy God, and Holy Spirit! Let us not be like the Pharisee’s or those who teach without the power and authority of the Creator of all things.
Jesus came to not only show us how to live, but also to teach us how to use His authority and His power! The saying ‘preach the gospel and use word only if you have to’ is very appropriate for our day. Let the gospel be seen and felt.

Word
Daily Vitamin
Word — “For through the eternal and living Word of God you have been born again. And this “seed” that He planted within you can never be destroyed but will live and grow inside of you forever. For: Human beings are frail and temporary, like grass, and the glory of man fleeting like blossoms of the field. The grass dries and withers and the flowers fall off, but the Word of the Lord endures forever! And this is the Word that was announced to you!” (1 Peter 1:23-25,The Passion Translation)
What is the Word of God to you? Is it just a book of stories or a history book of irrelevant old sayings written by men? Or is it the living Word of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit? There have been and will be many different opinions on this subject.
Each of us has to decide this on our own, not by opinions of others.
Our bibles have been called the living Holy Bible for centuries. There are many different copies and translations of it. It’s always been a best seller! More copies have been sold than any other book throughout all time.
I ask again, what is the word of Daddy God to you?

Request

Request - “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power constantly energizes you.” (Eph 3:20, The Passion Translation)
Many times when we request something from Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit what we ask for is too small. Or perhaps we request the wrong things. We have the option to ask for a lot of things. Maybe we should start by asking Them what we should request! Most of us can dream really big but Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit can do way more than we can dream or think.
What is your request for today?

Comfort
Daily Vitamin
Comfort -- “All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For He is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort. He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.” (2 Cor 1:3-4, The Passion Translation)
Holy Spirit is called the Comforter in scripture. Jesus would often go to pray right after a great trial. In His time of prayer I believe Holy Spirit would bring comfort to Him. So in His next difficulty He would already have the comfort needed to comfort others. The same is true with us. Holy Spirit brings the comfort we need in our times of trouble, so that when we come across others we have the comfort they will need!
Be aware of those around you today that may need what you already have!
