Arkane Studios' most recent release, Redfall, turned a lot of heads for the wrong reasons. The game was a disaster at launch -- still is -- and failed to meet a lot of the hype Xbox had set out for this exclusive that was meant to push their current gen consoles further with gamers. 20 hours later and despite all it's faults, I'm here to say Redfall isn't THAT bad. HBO's The Last of Us seemed to be a slam dunk to many for its higher viewership week after week, notable leads, and memorable storyline taken from the popular video game franchise of the same name. However, despite what the critics may say, HBO's adaptation had a very critical flaw in its production which I believe made it an overall bad television series and will greatly affect how well it performs in future seasons. And before you assume, no it's not because of all the LGBTQ+ episodes. Atomic Heart has been shrouded in controversy since its potential ties to the Russian government were unveiled several months prior to its February 2023 release. The Callisto Protocol was one of the most hyped releases of 2022 that quickly disappeared from public eye within two weeks of its release. After a botched launch that permanently damaged the stock value of the project's parent company, Krafton, and with Motive Studios' Dead Space remake coming January 27th, I figured now would be a good time to revisit The Callisto Protocol with a good ol' fashioned deep dive into its production, gameplay, and lasting legacy. French game publisher Ubisoft announced today in a press release that not only was it delaying Skull & Bones for a SIXTH time, but that it was also scaling back quite a bit of its operations due to financial underperformances.
