Unity Idle game in Playmaker, Basics of getting started
In this video, we'll be covering the basics of making an idle game in Unity using Playmaker. An idle game is a type of game where the player's progress continues even when they're not actively playing. This makes it perfect for mobile devices where players can check back in every once in a while to see their progress.
We'll be using Playmaker, a visual scripting tool for Unity, to help make our development process easier. Playmaker allows us to create game logic without writing code, making it a great option for beginners or those who want to prototype quickly.
By the end of this video, you'll have a basic understanding of how to make an idle game in Unity with Playmaker. We'll also provide additional resources for further learning if you want to dive deeper into the topic.
So, if you're ready to start making your own idle game, grab your copy of Unity and Playmaker and let's get started!

Dungeons Diced Mines Highlight Run through
this isn't technically a devlog, it just highlights some of the changes in Dungeons Diced. showing the controller, the Barking system, the quests system, some dialogue, some cleaned-up combat, and a recent addition is the... dungeon event option system? idk what to call it. but there are a few different types of events, that can have various options, of many different types, and the results can vary a great deal. nearly everything in the game has multiple ways to get the task or job or path done, so given lots of options can result in, altering the dungeons, changing enemy behaviors, getting ambushed, creating shortcuts, or getting rewards etc. many many possibilities. also a type of event that can have options, that may require state rolls, such as seen in the video, where breaking down the door, required a strength roll. or you can find the key, if playing a rogue, you can pick the lock. etc. breaking the door will not only grant access, but may also attract enemies and such too, lots of options, with lots or rewards and consequences.
