We’ve got Mat in the Ferrari Purosangue, and alongside him, there’s a Cayenne Coupe Turbo, Aston Martin DBX 707, Urus Performance, BMW X6M, Range Rover Sport SV, AMG G63 and a Land Rover Defender V8! So let’s dig into the stats. The Purosangue is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 that can put down 725hp and 716Nm, and this power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It weighs in at 2,033kg, and it costs around £313,000. The Porsche is equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor, and these combine to produce 739hp and 960Nm. It has an 8-speed auto gearbox, weighs in at 2,495kg, and costs from £165,000. The all-new Aston Martin also has a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and in this instance, it puts down 707hp and 900Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed auto, it weighs 2,245kg, and it costs just shy of £200k, coming in at £195,000. There’s yet another 4-litre twin-turbo V8 in the Urus, in this case producing 666hp and 850Nm. It comes with all-wheel drive, an 8-speed gearbox, and it weighs 2,150kg. From new, the Lambo costs from £209,000. Both the X6M and the Range Rover Sport SV are equipped with the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8. However, whereas the BMW makes 625hp and 750Nm, the Range Rover produces 635hp and 750Nm! They weigh 2,445kg and 2,560kg respectively, and while the BMW costs £131,000, the Range Rover comes in at £171,000. The penultimate car is the AMG G63, which rolls up with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that puts down 585hp and 850Nm. Its 9-speed gearbox sends this power to all four wheels, it weighs 2,550kg, and it costs from £172,000. Then finally we have the Defender. It’s housing a 5-litre supercharged V8 under the bonnet, and it produces the least power here, putting down 525hp and 625hp. It’s the heaviest car here, at around 2,600kg, and it’s also the cheapest car, costing around £120,000. So we have eight incredible incredible cars, but only ONE can win! So which will it be? We’ve got our hands on the AMG GT 63 edition, and he’s about to see if it can compete with class leaders like the Porsche 911 Turbo S and Aston Martin Vantage! So first off, let’s check out the design. Even though it’s an all-new GT, there’s no denying it’s unmistakably recognisable as an AMG GT. Around the back, you’ll find a cool new tail light design, and although there’s a diffuser and some vents, the stick of truth has found them all to be fake! Despite sharing the same underpinnings as the AMG SL, the only thing borrowed from this car’s design can be found along the side - the doors! Everything else is unique to the GT. Up front, you’ll find the instantly recognisable aggressive-style grille, coupled with a load of vents which are actually real! Step inside and the GT is a lovely car to be in. There’s Alcantara on the steering wheel and you'll find weighty metal paddle shifters on either side, and there’s a huge infotainment screen on the centre of the dash. The turbine-style vents look cool, but unfortunately, there’s quite a bit of cheap materials to be found in the cabin. What’s more, the cover for the sun visor has to be operated manually! Not what you would expect to find in a car that costs from £165,000. When it comes to engines, all versions of the AMG GT are powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8. The entry-level is the AMG 55 model, which puts down 476hp and 700Nm. The car we have here, the 63, produces 585hp and 800Nm, while the range-topper is the GT 63 S E-Performance. It’s a hybrid, so it comes with a V8 and an electric motor, which combine to produce 816hp and an eye-watering 1,420Nm! So what do you think - could the new GT be a 911 beater? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! This can produce 476hp, but fear not - there’s also an electric motor fitted to the rear axel that can produce 204hp, so as a result the new C63 produces 680hp and a colossal 1,020Nm! It’s equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox, it weighs in at a hefty 2,190kg, and it costs around £99,750. As for the BMW, it’s packing the same 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six as found in the saloon. This puts down 510hp and 650Nm, sends power to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at just 1,865kg. It’s also a fair bit cheaper than the AMG, coming in at £88,800. Then finally we have the limited-edition Audi RS4 Competition. It has the same 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 as the regular car, and it still produces 450hp and 600Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it’s both the lightest & cheapest car here, coming in at 1,745kg & £84,600 respectively. So surely it has to be a walkover for the AMG, right? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

And then finally we have the two limited-edition models, built with personal input from drivers from the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC team. Both editions have exclusive paint jobs, improved rear wings, as well as drive mode settings personally chosen by the two drivers. Both cars are limited to just 200 editions each!
