Customer has a DiBenedetto Tile roof and a hail storm creates damage. We met with the insurance adjuster and they were able to document the damage caused by the hail. We have also had an Engineer conduct tests with an Ice Cannon and the tile broke when hit by .75”hail. This video shows clean breaks where there is hail spatter. Wind storm broke a branch from a tree. When it impacted the roof it penetrated through the shingles, Underlayment, and decking. This property had 3 Layers of Shingles and the insurance carrier was trying to say it was repairable and tried denying the full roof replacement. Our Professional Roofing Team documented what had to happen for a compliant repair and provided the carrier with documentation proving that this roof had to be replaced. Don’t be fooled by your Insurance Company’s estimate to repair your property. 100% of the time, it’s a lowball piecemeal offer. Get the best Contractors in town to do your repairs. Do not compromise price or quality of repairs for like kind and quality items. If your roof is damaged by a storm and your insurance company is trying to pay for a repair, ask them for a letter guaranteeing that if additional damage occurs the next time there is a storm, that damage still falls under the same claim. Otherwise, please replace me Roofing System. Ask your Contractor if they know of Public Adjusters or Appraisers that you can speak to to go over the Contractors Bid. If you do get 3 Estimates, let your Adjuster know that you will be going with the highest one. Otherwise, let’s get started!

We have a 70 square Quarrix tile roof that has leaks. This is a dental office. We have to mitigate all damages and get this wrapped as quickly as possible. By doing this, we are able to let the dental practice continue work as normal. They no longer have to move to a new facility while we wait on the new tile to arrive.

This is a video of a repair to valley Metals damaged by a storm. To be compliant, one can not reuse damaged or deteriorated materials. In the end, a simple Valley Replacement becomes a full roof replacement. If using Xactimate, one needs to use the line item for “Per Shake”. We do not recommend “repairing” Valleys on Shake as it is more expensive than a full roof replacement.

This is a quick video showing the challenges with replacing valleys on a shake roof. If they are damaged, per code, one has to replace the metal. At the same time you have to install new underlayment. Ice and water is required and will require solid staple sheeting. We do not recommend a repair as the cost, per Xactimate (per Shake) will skyrocket. In the end, everything must be compliant.

Our clients carrier paid for a repair after a storm had damaged their roof. The mastic seal was broken on a number of shingles and Tabs were blown off. This video helped our client get a full replacement approved!

We were called out to conduct a repair. We found out that the shingle is an elk. This is a discontinued asphalt product and it failed the brittleness test. We advised our client to open a claim with their carrier and were able to document the damages. Carrier paid for a full replacement.
