Horror in the Water! A Retrospective of the Jaws Franchise
Sh-sh--SH-SHARK!!!!! Join us in the shark cage, hang onto the dock, or hide from the flying glass as we dive deep into the Jaws franchise! You can throw US some chum by donating to our Patreon page at https://patreon.com/hunterwick, and add your voice to those who want more fun AND thoughtful content like this on the Internet.
Climb aboard the Orca as we take a Slow Burn (or maybe it's a Slow Soak) of Jaws and Peter Benchley's novel that started it all. Then we'll set sail with those that came after, the sequels and copycats. We break down the story arcs of the Jaws film and novel, Jaws 2, Jaws 3D and Jaws the Revenge. We discuss Pirahna and Orca, Sharknado and the Land Shark (he's just a dolphin, ma'am).
Join your hosts William Hunter and Chad Love as they jump the shark.

PragerU Conservative Explains Why You Should Hate Them
PragerU Conservatives are Destroying America but the Superbowl has nothing to do with it in any way!
The conservative propaganda people over at PragerU (the U actually stands for Unbelievably daft), try to make the case for modern U.S. conservatism. The rights of women to bodily autonomy? Trash it. Mass shootings in America? More guns! Climate change? What climate change?! They title it “Why Do You Hate Conservatives?”. We say it’s more like “Why You Hate Conservatives”.

Recalling the Crazy 1990 Total Recall Movie and Its Remake
Support the show and throw a couple bucks our way by donating here: https://ko-fi.com/hunterwick.
Strap into the Rekall memory implant chair with Bill and Chad as they remember the wholesale madness of the Total Recall movies. We wonder why they keep remaking films, we praise the cleverness and "Phillip K. Dick"-ishness of the original Total Recall, study the work of the original Total Recall co-writer and Hollywood pariah Dan O'Bannon, highlight our favourite Arnold quips from the film, lament that instead of just starting the plot of the remake we have to do some reading first, and much more!
A couple of other movie remakes and reboots like James Bond, Blade Runner and Peter Jackson's King Kong are also injected into the conversation, and we also remember the wider work of original Total Recall director Paul Verhoeven, that crazy Dutch filmmaker who also did Robocop and Showgirls, among others.
We hope you enjoy the ride!
Hosted by Chad Love and William Hunter.

22 Creative Levi's Ads from the 2010s
Watching these 22 creative Levi's Ads from the 2010's, you might note the total amount of ads considered worthy of inclusion is substantially smaller than the packages we've put together of previous decade's Levi's commercials. As you progress through this compilation, you might start to notice why. Still, these are creative, interesting and funny commercials that, yes, might even inspire you.

33 Creative Levi's TV Ads from the 2000's
Here are more creative Levi's TV ads, these from the 2000's. Although in my view, this package might represent the last gasp of greatness from Levi's advertising... indicated by the ads made towards the end of 2000's, where Levi's seems to be going from fun, cool and creative spots to a more repulsive kind of preachy "woke" aesthetic. They forgot they were just trying to put jeans on people's backsides!

18 Great Levi's TV Ads from the 70s
I think this compilation of great Levi's TV ads from the 70's really typifies the creativity and coolness of the decade, from flashbacks to Peter Max/Yellow Submarine-influenced psychedelic trips to retro music soundtracks to the suggestion that your particular wearing of a Levi's jean makes you (and it) unique... an idea that would pervade their advertisements through the ages. All seen through the lens of advertising agencies, of course.

Plus a little discoteque glam thrown in, and a big helping of the soothing jazz of Ken Nordine's voiceovers. It's quite a trip. Watching Levi's ads across the decade, you sometimes gotta wonder what the persons responsible might have been smoking. *dacron polyester*
