But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so… Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord." Divination is actually regarded to be a grave sin. Declares 1 Samuel 15:23 NIV, "Rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry." Manifest & visualize / law of attraction: Satan likes to promote this new age tactic to make people look to themselves to create whatever reality they want. Essentially taking Jesus out of the picture. No longer being guided by Gods will for our life but rather our own will for our life. It also takes all the glory away from God because we think we had something to do with our blessing rather than God doing it. (Proverbs 16:9 / Proverbs 21:9) It's very crucial as Christians to seek the kingdom of God, making that our priority, rather than about ourselves (Mathew 6:33) It's the sovereignty of God that prevails over our own lives, not our effort. Dream catcher: dream catchers are meant to be used to catch your bad dreams & evil spirits. Then to be released in the morning. But it in fact does the very opposite. It opens doors to demons to enter your home and your life! Please make sure to get rid of this item. Instead of looking to dream catchers. Those who worship false gods are, wittingly or unwittingly, pledging their allegiance to evil spirits who desire to usurp God’s rightful place in our hearts. Ouija board: There's not much I can say about a Ouiji board, other than it's just out right demonic. The spirits you are contacting are demons. And now have access to your house and your life. You open a door when you use this object. And God makes it clear not to contact the dead. (Deuteronomy 18:11) mentions those who consult with familiar spirits and necromancers. Familiar spirits are trusted spirits that are thought to be friendly or familiar. However, they are not people, but demons (Leviticus 20:1-6, 27; Isaiah 8:19; Isaiah 19:3; Isiah 29:4). Likewise, necromancers, often called mediums, are those who try to communicate with the dead. Neither are not part of God’s family and they are not His children by faith in Christ (Galatians 3:26).
