A Massive (but Silent) Sign of the Times
A Massive (but Silent) Sign of the Times
A massive, yet silent, sign of the times just rolled through our world, and its one all of us can understand and verify. 1621 AD was the year of the first Thanksgiving Feast, and 2021 was its 400th anniversary. Yet, almost no attention was given to this, and the longer you ask yourself why, the more nefarious the answers get (Church of the Nazarene Bible Study Podcast).

Honor Thy Parents or Hate Yourself
We must revisit the Fifth Commandment to Honor Thy Father and Mother if we are have revival in our age. The culture war is a spiritual war, and the modern ways of living are not as satisfying as they are sold to be. Many issues are directly tied to people not honoring their parents and therefore not being able to love themselves, thus they fall farther from God and further insane. The Psychology at Stephen's Martyr
The Psychology at Stephen's Martyr
It is popular in Christian conversations to discuss being "uncomfortable," or "living against the culture," but what does this really look like? Are we to rock the boat, or keep the peace? In truth these things cannot be reduced to formulas, for it is not about formulas, but about principles. As creatures we want resolution, and the world gets very upset with falsehoods are exposed. Understanding the Natural Law: Dominion over the Earth
Understanding the Natural Law: Dominion over the Earth
The next aspect of human psychology directly addressed in Genesis 1:28 is the Law of Dominion. We might think it royal enough for God to craft mankind in His own Image, but the Creator went a step further and spoke into our nature the urge to subdue, to be kings and queens who rule our domain. Let us not be confused: this is no trite or low responsibility, for we were made for service that is neither feeble nor timid. “Radah,” is the Hebrew word, and it openly means to rule and dominate. It is a word of mighty courage and rigid spine, and the challenge for us in this message is to understand that the Law of Dominion was meant to cast a picture of beautiful inspiration for the world, not an ugle display of vile tyranny.

The Danger of Nothing (King Nothing the Void)
The Danger of Nothing (King Nothing the Void)
Nothing is easily disguised as something, and therefore easily lead to nether gloom of hell. There is a reason why creation is dangerous, with powerful storms and predators who need many calories. Great energy is required to restrain King Nothing, to sustain life above the void. When we commit even the smallest of sins we step outside the good order which keeps us from collapse, and we mangle the necessary power of creation to produce chaos.

Into the Natural Law Part 1: The Freedom of Day
Into the Natural Law Part 1: The Freedom of Day
Chesterton was right, there is a thought that stops all other thought, and it is the thought that must be stopped. Even dear uncle Screwtape must be satisfied in his progress, for this thought which stops all other thought was not rejected by those aware of its rise but rather embraced. What is the thought you ask, what is this irreparable damage which can lead any man, woman, or entire generation down to bottomless perdition? This abomination of desolation is really quite simple: it is the belief that no one thing is greater than another, that a saint is no more good than a sinner, that nothing should be accepted as true (and indeed, as we shall study, the terrible King Nothing has been accepted as true).
