He cast out the spirits and healed the demon-possessed (Matthew 8:16). The Scriptures in the Book of Acts confirm that the early apostles did healing miracles (Acts 5:12-16). God’s power worked through them. Bible Verses About Physical Healing The Scriptures indicate that Jesus healed many people during His earthly ministry (Matthew 15:29-31). Throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament, we can read so many Bible verses about healing. The Scriptures tell us that healing comes from faith, not through rituals. Religion teaches that healing comes by performing rituals. But the Bible confirms that it comes from God. Bible Verses About Spiritual Healing Bible verses in Matthew 9:2 say that some people may have physical sickness in addition to spiritual illness. The Bible is crystal clear that spiritual healing comes only from Jesus’ healing touch (Matthew 9:2). Jesus Christ died in our place for our sins, and by His stripes, we are healed spiritually (1 Peter 2:24). Bible Verses About Emotional Healing Sometimes people get afflicted by pain or distress. In these situations, healing verses from the Bible may inspire them day-to-day mentally, spiritually, and physically. By reading and focusing on the Scriptures, they get encouraged and strengthened. Bible Verses About Healing of Land And Nations The Old Testament has so many Bible verses related to the restoration, healing of the nation and the land. In Obadiah 1:17-21, we read about Israel’s restoration, and the message is clear that one day Jesus would come and set up the Millennial kingdom to rule the earth. God gives peace and security to any nation when they seek and worship Him.
