This is Kalamazoo, Michigan population 72,873 I grew up here Since I can remember I've wanted to leave because its boring to me and now I found a place I love in Bangkok, Thailand Now I can show a direct comparison of what I like about Bangkok which is simultaneously what I dislike about most American cities I know this comparison isn't fair because the cities are such a big size difference but most American cities are the same thing, just larger (bad public transit, no street food, over priced, NO community interaction everyone is just doing their own thing)

While I'm home in Michigan I like to make it it a point to visit my grandparents a often as I can.. They have always been present in my life and as I've gotten older I've spent more and more time out of Michigan.. And now I live outside of the country, so currently while I'm home I need to see them as much as possible because the sad truth is they will not always be here with us GO VISIT YOUR GRANDPARENTS

Under the golden rays of the sun, the LMCU ball field in Grand Rapids, Michigan transformed into a haven of delight for the Tots and Taps festival. Amidst the vibrant crowd, I joined my mother, eager to savor the culinary treasures awaiting us. Her sweet potato cornbread, a family favorite, took center stage on our picnic blanket, drawing envious glances from passersby. As we navigated the festival grounds, the aroma of smoked barbecue and craft beer mingled in the air, guiding us towards a gastronomic adventure. From tangy ribs to creamy macaroni and cheese, each bite was a revelation, a testament to the diverse culinary offerings of the event. Live music provided the soundtrack to our day, infusing the atmosphere with infectious energy and joy. Bands took to the stage, their melodies captivating the crowd and inspiring impromptu dance parties amidst the food stalls and craft booths. But it was the cooking competition that stole the spotlight. With unwavering confidence, my mother entered her sweet potato cornbread, a labor of love that had delighted friends and family for years. As the judges sampled her creation, anticipation hung in the air, culminating in a moment of triumph as she was awarded first place, her talent and dedication recognized by all. As the day drew to a close and the sky blazed with hues of pink and orange, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the memories created at the Tots and Taps festival. It was more than just a culinary experience; it was a celebration of community, creativity, and the simple joys of life. Haha AI made that description 😂

took a flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong had a layover then took another flight from Hong Kong to Chicago then took the local train to the regional train and rode that another 2 hours to get to Kalamazoo all to drop my camera 😅

I went to chili fest in Bangkok and I made it to the final rounds of a chili eating contest We ate Jalapeños Habaneros Chili Galiang Birds Eye chilis Red F1 Habaneros Scorpion Doughlag and multiple of the HOTTEST CHILI IN THE WORLD CAROLINA REAPER This was intense! I swear at one point I was just existing and my soul left my body my face and body was numb half way through the competition and it only got worse This was a truly rough competition and I love spicy stuff but this was a different level lol I'll be back to win it all next year! Shoutout to the Chili Fest, this was the 2nd year and the turn out was great! Thank you for letting me participate 🙏🏽

today I'm doing some shopping but also trying to stay out the heat because damn it is so hot in Bangkok right now lol over 100 degrees Fahrenheit pretty much everyday as we get closer to monsoon season

I am still learning more about this visa but so far I think for long term this is possibly the best visa you can get for Thailand with the possibility to get a visa for spouse, children and skipping the immigration lines at the airport with access to co working spaces and guidance on the whole process of obtaining visa and beyond this place in the video is True Digital Park in Bangkok and is open to the public but for access to meeting rooms, a podcast room, game room, lockers and much more, you need a membership which is included in this package for the start up if you know of anything better let me know!

This is the story about my first real big investment in trucking that I pretty much lost completely everything I bought a couple semi trucks in the USA and it failed miserably To be clear there is money to be made in the trucking industry BUT I didn't like it enough to stick around and find out for myself

This is the Paknam Phasi Charoen temple and honestly this is probably my favorite temple I went to so far in Bangkok, if not Thailand It was not busy at all, very clean, not touristy, free (donations are appreciated 🙂) and also had a amazing beautiful colorful inside Its a quick trick that can be full completed within 1-2 hours depending on how you move

I can see this building from my balcony in Bangkok and I've always wanted to see inside it. Finally I got the chance and wasn't disappointed but I wasn't able to record much because security didn't like my camera

On day two of Songkran I'm doing my best to stay dry but its so crazy here in Bangkok that you basically need to stay inside if you don't want to get soaking drenched wet

We went to Silom and Nana plaza and got DRENCHED Had a blast, literally lol Bangkok was crazyyy this day, if you walk outside you are liable to get soaked! Play at your own risk! :)
