Feb. 16th 2023 Heavy rain fell throughout the day and night Monday causing Flash flooding in several counties in Eastern, KY. Video is shot in Morgan, Wolf and Magoffin Counties. Many of these communities are among those hit hard last summer during the 1000 year flood. The Magoffin County Rescue Squad worked all day and night to get folks out of flooded vehicles and even conducted animal rescues. 02-09-2023 Central, KY -Sound Up! Wow! A High Wind Warning was issued for Central, KY on Thursday and folks knew it. Trees were blown down, personal items were carried away, Widespread power outages were reported and even a tractor Trailer was blown over on Interstate 64. Local Lakes had white caps!!! 66 MPH gusts were recorded in Frankfort, KY where some of this video was taken. Other places got over 70 MPH gusts. The video was shot in Lexington, Frankfort and Lawrenceburg, KY. Big tree was down in Lawrenceburg, KY. Fence was broken in Lexington, KY. Video has great natural sound, damage and so forth

01-31-2023 Lexington, KY - Busy morning for first responders and utility crews as the Bluegrass region of Kentucky woke up to an ice glaze that caused many issues. Video shows Paris Pike on Fayette-Bourbon County line shut down due to a Tractor Trailer crash. Video also shows an army of utility crews busting some serious hump to get downed lines repaired in Lexington. It doesn't take much ice to really ruin a day.

01-27-2023 Lexington, KY - Raw Video shows two different cars running off road due to Black ice on Lexington, roadways. There is also a sound Bite. Black ice & snow was bad enough in Lexington, KY to catch many by surprise Friday morning. Schools canceled and the North & South Bound lanes of I-75 were shutdown. There were wrecks everywhere around the city! There were so many wrecks that police were tied up for hours and tow trucks got behind fast. Video shows, wrecks, cars sliding, tractor trailer stuck on ramp and backed up traffic. The video demonstrates how the tiniest amounts of precip on the roadways can cause more issues than a 6 inch snow. It was crazy I tell you!

Central, KY has seen its share of rain lately but this was a nice break in the clouds before more rain or snow shows up this weekend. 1-12-23 The National Weather Service(Louisville) Prelim onsite survey concludes that a likely EF-1 Tornado of 100 MPH touch down on parts of Cornishville Road in Harrodsburg, KY which is in Mercer County. There was Damage to homes, barn, trees, power outages and roof damage downtown at the YMCA. No injuries have been reported. Several other Tornadoes touched down in Kentucky as well and site surveys are ongoing. Jacob Long who lost his Garage and had roof damage to his home. #weather #tornado #storm #kentucky #forecast

1-4-23 Lexington, KY According to one resident, the last time Wolf Run Creek near downtown Lexington was this high was about 30 years ago. Lexington received 1.44 inches early this morning in a very short time and that's after heavy rains on yesterday. The Extreme Cold in Central, KY has caused major problems the last few days in way of broken water Pipes. Hundreds of structures have been affected with this issue during the Winter Storm of December 2022. Today a main water line was ruptured in downtown Lexington. Crews arrived on scene to water flowing through downtown streets as the temps were still below freezing. Public Schools, businesses and even the local Animal Shelter has been affected by the stress on pipes. On Christmas Eve alone the Lexington Fire Department responded to approximately 150 calls concerning broken pipes according to Major CJ Hauz with the Lexington Fire Department. Repairing this main line will likely take the rest of the day because of the complexity of other utilities in the area. December 23rd, 2022 -Central, KY went sub zero degrees early Friday morning during the winter storm and that isn't Wind chill numbers! Snow driven by near 30 MPH winds made travel difficult and life just plain miserable for those who had to be out. Temps plunged 40 degrees in a matter of hours. #weather #snow #storm #winterstorm

Over night & into the early morning of October 18th, 2022, parts of Kentucky including Florence, KY received its first snow of the season over night into Tuesday morning. It was mainly flurries but snow is really rare in Kentucky in October according to the National Weather Service office in Louisville, KY. While clearing and debris removal has made big progress in Mayfield, KY, rebuilding has been slow. Pastor Bob Waldridge waited 6 months just for property survey. Today, ten months later, he is finally seeing construction on a new facility. Yahweh Baptist Church was located in downtown Mayfield and was destroyed by the December 2021 EF-4 Tornado. The Church has been meeting in a local movie theater and the Pastor's garage since last December. Video footage shows what downtown Mayfield looks like today - empty lots, vacant and damaged buildings. Dump sites for residents & workers have been set up throughout the several counties effected so the debris can be hauled away. This particular site is in Knott County, KY. Severe Thunderstorms rolled through the Bluegrass on August 9th 2022 lighting up the sky. Here's a few shots I was able to grab before the storm blew over.

Knowing clouds are tough. Sometimes they look dangerous but they are not. I'm no cloud expert but these clouds did produce Severe thunderstorms in Fayette & Scott County, Kentucky.

08-01-2022 Fleming Neon was devastated by flood waters. Letcher County as a whole was a big mess. The entire town was a loss. Today was round two as flash flooding hit the city again. David Polis has lived there for 50 years and has never seen anything like this.

08-01-2022 Many communities in Southeast, KY saw yet another round of heavy rain causing flash flooding today. This video shows more flash flooding occurring in the Red Fox area of Knott County. Many homes were already destroyed from last weeks flooding. This was round Two.

07-29-2022 Fish Pond, KY James Strong, his family and his neighbors lost everything once the flood waters crossed over HWY 14 in Breathitt County, KY. The small Community of Fish Pond was devastated! James takes us on a boat ride to show us what's left of his community. Notice the rescue boats in this area.

07-29-2022 Heavy equipment and crews are moving into Perry County and beginning the process of cleanup. Bridges are damaged, Power is out and creeks are full of debris. Video shows large machinery and crews moving communities.

07-31-2022 Jackson, KY Two sink holes in the video. First one you actually see the ground collapsing. The second one is next door to the first one and is a massive crater in a Parking lot near the Jiffy Food Mart on HWY 15 in Jackson, KY. There is also a Sound Bite with Harley Roberts who talks about the sink hole behind a local business. He is concerned that the entire parking lot might go so he decides to move his mobile food truck from the lot.

07-31-2022 Lost Creek, KY The Riverside Christian School in Lost Creek, KY lost their entire campus including the baseball field because of flooding from nearby Lost Creek. What is so telling about this scene is all the debris that the backstop actually caught. It's simply humbling to see.

07-29-2022 This video captures the devastation from the Perry County, KY flood. Pieces of their lives float down Troublesome Creek in Perry County. Thousands and thousands of items from appliances to building materials are traveling down the swelled creek.

07-29-2022 Rowdy, KY Amazing Survival Skills! Buddy Ann Combs of Rowdy, KY was stranded with her family due to the flooding in Perry County, KY. Some of her other family members used a fishing pole to get a rope across the flood waters. Once the rope was tied off, they were able to send needed supplies across the creek. Buddy Ann and her family members were rescued by the Kentucky National Guard on Thursday Evening. The rescue video is also available to Watch on This Channel

Chilling to a see a row of homes just gone. Vanished! Video shows foundations of homes that were swept away along Troublesome Creek in the community of Ary, Kentucky in Perry County, Kentucky. Rita Richie has lived in the area most of her life and has never seen anything like this. She lost a whole lot but her neighbors lost even more
