A: It very well could be a sign of toxins like lead, PFAS, formaldehyde, Azo dyes, Brominated flame retardants, Lead, Pesticides and Phthalates. Do you struggle with allergies & hayfever? Let me tell you, I have taken many supplements to manage my allergies, sinus infections, & bronchitis. Sunscreens AREN’T the healthiest way to protect your skin. I’m sad to tell you, my friend, that sunscreens are actually TOXIC. The worst toxic chemicals in sunscreens are: Avobenzone- allergic reactions, endocrine disruption, blocks the effects of testosterone in the cell. Oxybenzone-endocrine disruption, organ system toxicity, contact allergies, and photoallergies, Octocrylene-readily absorbs through the skin at levels about 14 times the FDA’s cutoff for systemic exposure. Octinoxate is linked to endocrine disruption & reproductive toxicity Homosalate: hormone disruption and it may also enhance the absorption of pesticides. This ingredient is persistent in the environment, meaning it doesn’t break down readily. Nano Titanium Dioxide and Nano Zinc Dioxide in sunscreens.They tend to have formaldehyde and harsh preservatives., and can be carcinogenic if inhaled. Nano Titanium Dioxide is linked with accelerating the aging process of your skin. Chemicals in sunscreen can act as estrogen hormones. Estrogen imbalance can cause big negative effects upon men, women, and even unborn children. Oxybenzone is the worst hormone disruptor in the list. Some of these chemical toxins have been detected in breast milk, urine and blood plasma. Mamavation website had said: Oxybenzone, in particular, has been linked to reproductive hormone disruption like degraded sperm quality in men, & endometriosis in women. A Danish study looked at sunscreen chemicals and which ones impacted male fertility. They found that 13 of the 29 chemicals used in sunscreen have the ability to impact calcium signaling in male sperm, which degrades the quality and can lead to anomalies. Men who had higher rates of oxybenzone in their system had more trouble getting a woman pregnant. (children under 2 yrs) Hirschsprung’s Disease, the baby is missing vital nerves in the large intestine. For newborns, this prevents nerves from growing beyond the large intestine to the anus, and that prevents the baby from having bowel movements. Babies with Hirschsprung’s Disease face a lifetime of intestinal issues. HD affects 1 in every 5,000 babies. Children experience fecal retention, constipation, or abdominal distention. Have you ever started doing something “Healthy” and later discovered it WASN’T healthy? I remember learning about the way commercial anti-perspirant deodorant contains aluminum. It horrified me to learn that aluminum can lead to many problems: Brain issues - Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Cancers of various sorts Kidney damage Bone disease Immunity struggles ARGHHH! And THEN I learned that 100% of what we apply to our underarms can be absorbed. “OK, that’s it! I’m starting to use aluminum-free deodorant!” The Salt Rock deodorant caught my attention. I read the labels, There wasn’t aluminum, BUT there was alum in the ingredients. So I researched alum, and the info was inconclusive about whether alum had the same risk as aluminum. Body Boosting Call: https://calendly.com/pamzschmidt/bb Daily routines make a very big impact on energy throughout the day. I know you have been dragging around every day, SO TIRED. You’re saying, “I’m tired of being tired!” We don’t wake up feeling low on energy without reasons. This low energy is a text message from our bodies that something needs to change. I’ve got a list, and my LAST TWO are powerful! So here’s my best suggestions for a Low-Tox improvement of energy: -Ensure You’re Pooping Everyday (at least once). Stuck poop can mean Toxin Reabsorption in the colon. These toxins include excess hormones, liver toxins, and cholesterol. Magnesium Glycinate supplement helps me. -Make Breakfast an Energy Booster: Eat protein, fruit/veggies. And IF you have any grains, make sure they are complex ones, like oatmeal versus commercial cereal. I say IF you have grains, because many of us do best without gluten-heavy grains. Limit or eliminate dairy products too, because they can make us sleepy. -OR SKIP Breakfast altogether: Many people find they have better energy by doing Intermittent Fasting until lunch. This helps energy because by restricting food, our bodies will more quickly and efficiently tap our fat stores for energy. Intermittent fasting lowers & improves liver enzymes, while reducing oxidative stress and inflammation, which can lead to liver damage. When we take care of these things, energy can improve. Here’s my favorites for Low-Tox Energy Boosting Purge Internal Parasites (the energy thieves): They steal the nutrients we eat, and cause poor nutritional absorption. Parasites can disrupt the intestinal microbiome, which causes fatigue and brain fog. Anemia can be the result when parasites feed on red blood cells. No matter how much I try to avoid toxic exposures, it’s still gonna happen. So instead of getting hysterical about it, I make sure to get daily detox routines checked off each day: - Hydration with filtered water (1/2 my weight in ounces) - Limit processed sugar - Limit processed foods, replace them with whole organic foods - Use skin/hair products that are pure (aloe & oils) with ingredients from nature - Get quality and quantity of sleep (this has been my bigger struggle) And I saved the biggest for the last point- take care to circulate lymphatic fluids throughout the body. Lymph fluid is sometimes called the sewer system of the body. BUT it does much more important tasks, such as carrying white blood cells, transporting hormones, reacting to infections, and absorbing some of the fats in our intestines. Our lavender is blooming💜 There was a bee right next to my face while I took the picture. The fragrance when opening the front door is so delicious. Lavender is therapeutic for mind, emotions and the body. Just the fragrance is perfect to counteract anxiety, stress, and sleep issues. Have you used lavender on irritated skin? It has anti-inflammation characteristics, which soothes rashes and bites. Lavender is found in lotions, shampoo, conditioner, and sprays. BUT make sure the products have real lavender versus “fragrance”. Fragrance just may be imitating the real stuff. I love real lavender sprigs and quality essential oil.
