In Pope Pius IX's Ineffabilis Deus (Defining the Immaculate Conception), he declared that Mary crushed the head of the serpent. This is NOT scriptural! See Genesis 3:14-15 NASB95. Simply reading the text with the proper pronouns, you can clearly see that only Jesus crushed the head of Satan. Mary is not addressed in any way outside of being a woman later included in the curse. Mary was a blessed woman to have been chosen by God to carry Jesus. Anything more being attributed to her is false. All your faith, hope and love should be aimed at God alone.

In this video, Matt Slick addresses the false assertion that "Works" can save you. By itself or paired with faith, it simply isn't enough. Trust in the finished work on the cross is the path to salvation. Many people in false religions teach that salvation and forgiveness of sins are obtained by faith and good works. Many appeal to Scripture to support this idea. But, when these verses are examined in context, they do not teach that works of any kind save us. In fact, the Bible clearly teaches that were saved without the works of the law. This is because nobody can keep the Law perfectly. God requires holiness (1 Pet. 1:16), nothing less. God does not want a faith that is empty and hypocritical. James 2 is talking about those who “say” that they have faith but have no "works". Therefore, people cannot tell if they are true believers or not, because there is no fruit. That kind of faith is useless and is not saving faith. True faith results in true works. But it is not works that bring faith. Catholicism says Mary atoned for sins. Roman Catholicism elevates Mary to a dangerous level. Only Jesus Christ atoned for sins and He did not need any help doing it. Put your faith completely in Jesus. Mary is not deity.
