Jung continues his interaction with the child like manifestation of God in his dreams. He wrestles with this image and arrives at the understanding that God is where you are not. He explores where people are in their development and if they are truly developed, or undeveloped but with potential, or not developed enough and having their God die within them. He arrives at God and Christ being the ideal that live within us. We all have enormous potential, are we doing enough to activate it?

In this section of the Red Book, Soul and God, Jung continues exploring with his soul. He starts to navigate the ideal. He has gone through a journey of experiencing other people and is understanding his self better. It his dreams a 'god' can finally emerge as he is now open enough to let the spirit of the depths through. The spirit manifest for him in his dreams and begins to mock and challenge him, moving him to develop towards an ideal.

In this section of Carl Jung's The Red Book, Jung begins his journey to call to his soul. This sets up his thoughts of Individuation, with Stage One being the Outer World and Stage Two being the outer world. The spirit of the times and the spirit of the depths. Order and Chaos. Both are necessary for the integrated self.
