Far too many who claim the name #Christian #Church are actually just a religion. There is no real #Faith. So, which do you have? Do You Have Religion Or Do You Have A True Faith?

Fort Wayne, IN used to be called the “City of Churches” because we seemingly had a church on every street corner. But that did not mean we had places of True Faith on seemingly every street corner. Most of those places that called themselves churches were actually practicing religion, following a system of organized practices, traditions, and man-made doctrines. When confronting the Jewish Priests, Jesus condemned them for doing this. Yet, we continue this practice more than 2,000 years later. Why?

True Faith stands in complete contrast to this. It is about walking in the ways of God and letting the Holy Spirit lead us in every way. Instead of having an “Order of Service” and doing things the same way every week in our Church Services, we ask the Holy Spirit how He wants us to worship and learn that day. Instead of having a sermon that has been written out word for word, we trust the Holy Spirit is going to speak through us. Instead of deciding for ourselves what our day and our future will be, we walk into the unknown trusting that God will always be with us.

Only True Faith will get us into Heaven. Yet, we continue to, in far too many cases, cling to religion and the way things have always been done. Our Traditions and the teachings that have come down through the centuries from Men are far too often more important than what God says and what He commands. If we truly want to see what so many in the Church call #Revival, then we have to return to living in True Faith just as the First Believers did. Or we can continue to be lukewarm and risk having Jesus spit us out.
