If there is a revelation that can help you understand the walk with God and how to effectively make disciples and bear fruit, it is the revelation about spiritual levels that I want to share here. In the natural, the seed (sperm) goes into the egg, growth happens, and it ends with a birth through water. The baby breathes in the air and cries out. In the spiritual, we receive a seed (The word of God) that starts to grow in us and ends with a birth through water (baptism). We breathe in the air (spirit) and cry out in new tongues. After the birth has taken place in the natural, the baby has no discernment and doesn’t know what is good and bad to put into their mouth. They cannot feed themselves; someone needs to feed them. They need milk, but as they grow, they move to solid food and eventually eat by themselves. As they continue to grow, they become a young boy, a young man, and eventually have their own children, repeating the process with the next generation. So it is in the spiritual. But because we don't recognize these spiritual levels, we are like someone giving a steak to a baby and milk to a teenager. The baby cannot eat and will die, and the teenager does not get what he needs to grow and become strong. Many are still sitting in church for many years and have not grown up. They should have been those teaching others by now, but instead they still need to be fed, and sadly, they never really grow up. Yes, there is much to say about this, and I highly recommend you take the time to listen to this new teaching I just shared today. It will provoke and challenge you, but it will be eye-opening and help you understand many things. What a powerful day 🥲🙏 I am both exhausted and amazed at the same time. I visited a church today, and it was truly amazing to see everything that God did. So many lives transformed, and everyone is amazed; they haven't seen anything like this before. Everyone will be baptized by Jesus. Important Revelation That Has Been Lost in Many Places The first time Jesus came was to baptize us with the Holy Spirit. The second time He will come to bring salvation to those who await Him and to baptize the rest with fire. Yes, all people will be baptized by Jesus. If people don't receive the first baptism with the Holy Spirit, they will receive the next baptism in fire, and we don't want that. Many misunderstand what the bible is saying here in Matthew chapter 3: Mat 3:11 "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. One reason is that we don't know there is a gap in this verse. A gap between the two baptisms that have now been 2000 years. But this is not the only place we see this. Also, with Jesus' first sermon in Luke 4 and with Peter's first sermon in Acts 2. Please see this teaching that will bring revelation to you and help you focus on that day, the day our Lord returns. www.TorbenSondergaard.com Text from the video 4 years ago: This video will come as a big surprise to many. The things I’m going to share here are things I’ve never shared publicly before. I pray that you will feel my heart in this. I’m not here to point fingers. I’m here to help the church come back to the true life we have in Jesus Christ. In this video I will share about my personal experience with Todd Bentley back in 2003, how that was the reason I left the prophetic movement, and how later in 2008 I wrote a warning about Todd and the Lakeland Revival. Even if you don’t know about Todd Bentley and the Lakeland Revival, I’m still sure you’ll get something out of this video, because I’ll be sharing many things. I’ll share how a prophet came to me and prophesied that Todd Bentley would fall, that the Lakeland Revival would end, that Todd would rise up again, and that his next fall would be even greater. This is exactly what we’ve just seen over these last weeks. This was a test to show that when Antichrist comes, the church is not ready or able to discern it. I’ll share what God has shown me to be the real problem in all of this. The problem isn’t just Todd Bentley. The problem is a lack of the fear of God, discernment, deliverance, and the true Gospel! When we talk about discernment, I recommend you see this video about false spirits in the church: (False Spirits vs. The Holy Spirit In The Church • False Spirits vs. The Holy Spirit In ... ) Today we have people praying, “More, God! More, God!” when a demon is manifesting. They believe the manifestation is of the Holy Spirit when it’s actually demonic and needs to be cast out. Not only is there a big lack of discernment, but also of deliverance. Jesus cast out demons and has called us to do the same. The next the church is lacking is the true Gospel. We’ve built the ‘gospel’ and our response to the ‘gospel’ on one verse, Romans 10:9, which states: "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Almost everyone today uses this verse as a ‘sinners prayer’ to ‘get people saved’. But, this verse is really being taken out of context if we say this is what people need to do in order to be born again. This verse is actually part of a long letter written to already believes without chapters and verses. These verses in chapter 10 were not written to tell sinners how to respond to the Gospel. There’s nothing about true repentance here in this verse. There’s nothing about how baptism in water is a washing away of our sins (Acts 2:38), clothed with Christ (Galatians 3,27), and a dying and rising up with Christ (Romans 6). There’s also nothing about how baptism with the Holy Spirit is for everyone, and that it’s necessary in order to live as a disciple of Jesus. If you take the time to read throughout the Book of Acts how the early church preached the Gospel and how people responded to it, you won’t find “Ask Jesus into your heart,” or “Pray this prayer after me,” anywhere. Instead you see things like this: “"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” (Acts 2:38-39) Yes! Repentance, faith, and baptism in water and with the Holy Spirit is how those in the early church responded to the Gospel. (The robber on the cross was during the old covenant. There was no baptism to Christ before the cross. Those at that time got baptized with John’s baptism, and later got re-baptized in Jesus’ name. H... ) Lack of discernment, deliverance, and the Gospel is the main reason we see what we’re seeing in the church today with Todd Bentley and many others. This, together with a lack of the fear of God is the problem. A prophet prophesied ten years ago that the church is like a big ship that’s going down. Water has come into the ship and it’s going down, but God is calling people out to build small lifeboats all over, to save people from the big ship when it goes down. Please watch the WHOLE video and pray about this. Then take the time to see if what I’m saying is in line with the Bible. Not with your traditions or my traditions, but with the Word of God - and ONLY the Word of God. Start going through the Book of Acts. See how people there came to faith and what they did when they heard the true Gospel. Please share this prophetic video with everyone you know. The baptism of the Holy Spirit has sadly been reduced to something for only a few or for some specific church denomination. A significant part of the 'church' is missing out on this and the new birth. It is wrong to view this as something only for a few. That is the birth of the church, that is the new birth we need. That is the finished work of the cross. It happened not on the cross or in John 20 as many teach, but on Pentecost, the day the Jews celebrated Shavuot and the Feast of Weeks. The giving of the law on Mount Sinai and the first harvest. This was 50 days after the Passover and the saving out of Egypt by the blood of the lamb. Like Pentecost in Acts 2, which was 50 days after Jesus died. So Jesus died as our Passover lamb. But the new heart and new spirit prophesied like here happened on Pentecost: Ezekiel 11:19 "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God." This did not happen on the cross. This did not happen on the day of resurrection. This happened after Jesus went to heaven and presented himself as the final sacrifice and then sent his Spirit down here. And so the church was born. This is powerful when you see it, and this reveals that the baptism of the Spirit is what the Bible says it is. This is the birth of the church, of the believers, and not just an extra power for those who want it. Sadly, Satan has deceived many people today into not getting fully born again. This will bring revelation and freedom. I have done many teachings before about baptism, but nothing like this one. We need to ask ourselves: What does God do in baptism? Why does Paul talk about marriage and how we are released from the law that binds us to each other when he talks about baptism? Why did the early church always baptize people right away when they came to faith? You will receive many answers in this teaching that will set you free from the law of sin and death. In many ways, I see this as one of the most important teachings I have done about baptism as we answer the basic questions: Why do we need to be baptized and how is this part of salvation? Today, we have two deceptions. On one side, there are those who preach baptismal regeneration, which means that baptism itself saves and that we need to baptize babies. On the other side, there are those who preach that baptism is just a symbol and an outward sign. They see it as an obedient act and nothing more. They don't baptize right away as we see in the Bible, and they don't understand what God does in baptism. Both of these views are wrong. There is a middle road, and this teaching will help you see what the Bible, not our traditions, says about baptism. This is the second teaching I am doing in this series. This is a very important teaching, revealing how far the church today has drifted from the truth we see in the Word of God. Many churches today rarely talk about sin and repentance. Many Christians try to convince people to believe by luring them in with talk of joy, peace, and prosperity instead of addressing sin, righteousness, and judgment. The result is that many in our churches are not truly born again, and we see how the world has influenced the church instead of the church influencing the world. Join the teaching. Sign up today. I am very excited to announce that we will start leadership teaching in Europe and the time zone is close. Two days ago, I had my first leadership teaching with people from North America, and it was amazing. I spoke about our hurts when it comes to leadership and how we, in many ways, come from broken families (churches) and therefore have many bad memories. When we hear words like leaders, elders, or pastors, it creates a negative experience, and we think of control, disappointment, limitations, fear, instead of protection, freedom, growth, and positive examples. Many, therefore, discard the biblical structure because of this. But there is also a problem because many use these functions to create an unbiblical structure. And no, I am not here to start a new church denomination. But the truth is, you can be biblical in how elders, leaders, submission, and accountability are implemented without it becoming a church denomination. However, we cannot be biblical without those things. We need to be strong for what the future brings. We need strong local communities that work together in connection with the five-fold ministries as living organisms. Yes, I have so much I want to share. But it went really well the other day, and we will now start the same teaching and training in Europe and the time zone there. I will never forget this - The kingdom has come near - small Village with 300 people, 100 showed up. This weekend was so special. We went to a very small village out in nowhere. The phone did not work, and there was no internet. There live 300 people in the village, and wow. Yes, wow. This was so special. I spoke a message about the kingdom of God and how everything points to the day our Lord returns to set up the kingdom here. The cross, healing, and deliverance point to that day. We can experience healing now, but we all one day die anyway. But one day, there will be a resurrection of the dead. Some to eternal judgment and some to eternal life. But those who are born again will be able to enter into God's kingdom. And there will be no more sickness or death ever again. Yes, I took everyone on a journey from Genesis to Revelation, and then we started to pray for people. So many got healed and set free from demons, so many. And then more and more people from the village came as they heard what happened. Many were there for the first time and met God in a powerful way and gave their life to Christ. It was truly amazing. Afterwards, we went to a house to eat. As you can see in the pictures, it is very, very poor. They don’t have much, but they have Jesus 🙏 and they are lovely people, and there is truly a great harvest out there. There are these very small villages all over Mexico, and they will not come to us; we need to go to them. So yesterday opened a new chapter not only for them but for us. I made many videos and testimonies. Please watch Let the missionary rise up in you as you see and hear this. There is work for everyone who wants to work. Don’t sit on your behind getting spiritually fat (Lazy) doing nothing when there are people everywhere crying for someone to come and help share Jesus. So Lord, I ask you to speak to people and send out more workers into your harvest that is both ripe and plentiful. Something new is happening. I cannot put words on it, but I dream about sending teams to all those small villages. We need to train more and provide help to make this dream a reality. God, help us. More about this later.
