This is the first part of Foxes Book of Martyrs Volume 1 Ch 0-20. There is an introduction to the book which covers the biography of Mr. Foxe and how the book was made in 1563. The first chapter, after the introduction , covers the history of all the Apostles deaths and then goes through the history of the many persecutions of the church from the Roman Caesars to the Roman Catholic Popes and Bishops. Some of the testimonies are very hard to listen too, but they are our Christian history. They estimate that about seventy million Christians have been martyred for their unwavering faith in Jesus. Released in 2003, this film is wonderfully done by using the words from the Gospel of John to illustrate the real life of Jesus. For He made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 That is the good news in 1 verse. God the Father made Jesus the Son take all the punishment we deserve for our sins, so that we could become as righteous as Jesus in the eyes of the Father. In other words, He took our sins and we took His righteousness, only when you believe. John 3:18 He that believes is not condemned, but he that does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
