Baptism Explained: The Symbolism, Purpose, and Process… Everything You Need to Know
To make sure you haven't been taught the WRONG gospel, be sure to watch—The Gospel Jesus Preached Is Different than What Most Have Been Taught https://youtu.be/wcX-FRUSm8M
In this enlightening video from Tomorrow's World, a profound exploration of Christian and Biblical baptism is undertaken, unraveling five crucial questions that often resonate with individuals seeking a deeper understanding of this sacred practice. The video serves as a comprehensive guide, shedding light on the theological, symbolic, and practical dimensions of baptism.
The initial question addresses the pivotal issue of whether baptism is a requirement for salvation. Drawing on the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, the video unequivocally asserts that baptism is indeed a requisite for salvation. It delves into the Great Commission, where Jesus urged his followers to preach the gospel and emphasized that those who believe and are baptized will be saved. The narrative also delves into the biblical examples of Peter's powerful message on Pentecost, underscoring the inseparable connection between belief, baptism, and salvation.
The exploration then extends to the second question, which probes the significance of baptism beyond its role in salvation. Here, the video meticulously outlines baptism as a profound declaration of faith and a visible commitment to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Real-life examples from the book of Acts vividly illustrate how individuals, upon hearing the gospel and embracing faith, willingly chose baptism as an outward expression of their newfound commitment.
Transitioning seamlessly into the third question, the video delves into the practical aspects of baptism. It advocates for the biblical method of immersion in water, symbolizing a burial and resurrection, as opposed to alternative methods like sprinkling. Moreover, the video accentuates the crucial role of an ordained minister of Jesus Christ, authorized to perform baptisms in His name, aligning with the scriptural precedent.
The exploration of eligibility for baptism comprises the fourth and fifth questions. The video articulates that a person seeking baptism must not only believe in the true gospel but also come to genuine repentance, acknowledging their sinful nature. This critical introspection requires a level of maturity, precluding the baptism of infants or those unable to grasp the significance of repentance.
In conclusion, the video encourages individuals on the precipice of considering baptism to seek counsel from a true minister of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the importance of alignment with a genuine representative of the Church. This comprehensive discourse not only clarifies the theological underpinnings of baptism but also serves as a guiding beacon for those contemplating this profound spiritual journey.
Questions that this video will answer.
1. Is baptism a requirement for salvation? The answer is yes, as Jesus himself stated that those who believe and are baptized will be saved. The biblical foundation for this requirement is emphasized through examples such as Peter's instruction on the day of Pentecost and Jesus' own baptism.
2. What is the significance of baptism? Baptism is not only a requirement for salvation but also a declaration of faith and commitment to follow Jesus Christ. The book of Acts provides examples of individuals who, upon hearing the gospel and believing, were baptized to signify their allegiance to Christ.
3. How should baptism be performed? Proper baptism involves full immersion in water, symbolizing a burial and resurrection. The act must be performed by an ordained minister of Jesus Christ, under the authority of Jesus, as seen in biblical examples and the use of the Greek word "baptizo," meaning to immerse or submerge.
4. Who can be baptized? To be baptized, a person must believe in the true gospel of the kingdom of God, come to repentance, and have a mature understanding of sin and the decision to live obediently. Baptism is a personal commitment, excluding infants or those unable to comprehend repentance.
5. How do we know if we're ready for baptism? If an individual has heard the true gospel, believes in it, acknowledges their sinful behavior, desires Jesus as their Savior, and is committed to living obediently to God, they are ready for baptism. The decision should be personal and not made on behalf of someone else. Seeking counsel from a true minister of Jesus Christ is recommended for those ready for baptism.

DON'T Follow Your Heart! — What the Bible Says About Trusting in Emotions, Instincts & Intuition
Claim your complimentary copy of the booklet 'The Ten Commandments' by visiting: https://orders.tomorrowsworld.org/order/TEN
In this insightful video, the speaker delves into the prevalent advice of "following your heart" by examining three crucial perspectives rooted in the Bible. Initially, the video highlights a prophetic condemnation in Isaiah 30, depicting a rebellious society that rejects guidance and prefers deceitful assurances. The speaker underscores a contemporary reluctance to heed the wisdom of the Bible, emphasizing a societal inclination to trust individual instincts over established principles.
The video then delves into the Bible's explicit warnings about the heart's deceitful nature, referencing Jeremiah 17:9. It argues that relying on personal feelings and intuitions can be perilous, as the human heart is naturally inclined towards sinful behavior. Contrary to the popular modern mantra, the video encourages viewers not to trust in themselves but to place their trust in the Lord, as emphasized in Proverbs 3:5. This sets the stage for the third point, where the speaker explores Jesus' perspective on following one's heart. Drawing from the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector in Luke 18, the video warns against self-righteousness and advocates humility before God. Ultimately, the video concludes by aligning with Jesus' teaching to keep God's commandments for an abundant life, countering societal perceptions that deem them burdensome.
Great questions that this video will help answer.
1. Why does the Bible caution against the modern advice of "following your heart"?
The video explores prophetic condemnations in Isaiah 30, illustrating a society that rejects guidance and prefers deceitful assurances. Understanding this biblical perspective helps viewers grasp the dangers associated with relying solely on personal instincts and ignoring established principles.
2. What does Jeremiah 17:9 reveal about the nature of the human heart, and why should we be cautious about following our feelings and intuitions?
The video delves into Jeremiah 17:9, explaining that the Bible portrays the heart as deceitful and naturally inclined towards sinful behavior. This insight prompts viewers to question the wisdom of trusting their own emotions, emphasizing the potential pitfalls of such an approach.
3. How does the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector in Luke 18 provide a cautionary tale about trusting in oneself?
By analyzing Jesus' parable, the video highlights the perils of trusting in one's righteousness and the associated dangers of pride and self-righteousness. Viewers can reflect on this narrative to better understand the need for humility before God and the consequences of neglecting divine guidance.
4. What is the significance of Proverbs 3:5's instruction to "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"?
The video draws attention to Proverbs 3:5, guiding viewers to consider the biblical wisdom behind placing trust in God rather than relying solely on personal understanding. This question encourages reflection on the contrasting outcomes of trusting in oneself versus trusting in divine guidance.
5. How does Jesus' emphasis on keeping God's commandments in the video align with the perception that they are burdensome in today's society?
The video challenges the contemporary notion that God's commandments are outdated and burdensome by highlighting Jesus' teachings on the importance of keeping them for an abundant life. This prompts viewers to question societal perspectives and reconsider the value of adhering to biblical principles for a fulfilling existence.

Listen to this statement recorded in Ps 83:4, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” While we’ve heard this sentiment from several nations in the Middle East, Psalm 83 is proclaiming a statement that will be made by a future coalition made up of the enemies of Israel and is part of a prophecy that was made about 3000 years ago.
In this video you’ll learn three key biblical ancestors of the peoples who make up the nations of the Middle East. You’ll see why there is so much animosity against Israel, and you’ll learn from the Bible how and when these ancient hatreds began.
And don't just believe us – but look up these verses in the Bible, and prove it for yourself as we examine some of the ancient influences of the Middle East.
Key #1, Ishmael is the father of the Arabs
It has been widely acknowledged for millennia, and still is, that the Arab people are the descendants of Ishmael, the son of Abraham. This is actually one point that Jews, Christians, and Muslims largely agree on.
In Genesis we see that Ishmael was born to Abraham of an Egyptian woman, named Hagar. (Gen 16:10–12)
God had promised a son to Abraham and Sarah in their old age (though, their original names were Abram and Sarai), but after some time had passed, and Sarah had not yet conceived, and they were only getting older, Sarah had Abraham have a child with her Egyptian servant, Hagar, so he could have a son through her. This is not what God intended.
This relationship caused a great deal of conflict between Sarah and Hagar, and eventually, Hagar fled from Sarah.
But God told her to return and submit herself under Sarah, and He told Hagar, “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly…” and, “You shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael… He shall be a wild man; his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” (Gen 16:10–12)
Later, God told Abraham, “I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly… and I will make him a great nation. But My covenant I will establish with Isaac….” (Gen 17:20–21).
We should note here, before we continue: Isaac was the son that came through Sarah, and the covenant promised to him, and eventually Jacob and the Tribes of Israel, also included being multiplied exceedingly, in addition to far more. Including the ownership of the promised land, as well as, blessings of the fruit of the land, minerals, wealth, and becoming powerful world influencing nations at the end of the age.
Now, after Isaac had been weaned, “Sarah saw [Ishmael]… scoffing [or making fun of him],” so, Sarah and Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away. (Gen 21:9–14)
“So, God was with the lad; and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer… and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt” (Gen 21:20–21).
So, we see from the biblical record that there was tension and resentment between Ishmael and Isaac, and between Hagar and Sarah. We also see that the descendants of Ishmael would:
“multiply exceedingly,”
become “a great nation,”
“Dwell in the presence of his brethren,”
Be a “wild man” who is “against every man, and every man against him.”
The general animosity we see in our world today from the Arab peoples of the Middle East and North Africa toward the Jews and other Israelite nations is rooted in the dynamics between Ishmael and Isaac. And it was prophesied that it would be so, which is proven true on a constant basis with what we see in our daily news regarding the Middle East.
Now, Key #2, The added influence of Esau against Jacob
When Isaac’s wife, Rebekah, was pregnant it says “the children struggled together within her… [and she asked God] ‘why am I like this?’... and the LORD said to her: ‘Two nations are in your womb, two peoples shall be separated from your body; one people shall be stronger than the other, and the older shall serve the younger.’” (Gen 25:22–23)
This was another prophecy that has held true.
The firstborn was Esau, and the second was Jacob (who later became Israel). As they grew, it says, “Esau [became] a skillful hunter, a man of the field; but Jacob was a mild man, dwelling in tents.” (Gen 25:27)
Genesis 25 shows Esau gave up his birthright blessings for a bowl of soup, having been deceived by his brother Jacob. (Gen 25:29–34)
Because he traded these blessings to be satisfied in the moment with a bowl of soup, Esau did not receive the primary blessing passed down from Abraham, and Isaac. Rather, Jacob received the primary blessing and birthright, and Esau received a lesser blessing. (Gen 27:30–40)

What Is Armageddon? | Revelation 16 | Revelation 19 | End Times | Bible Prophecy
In this video you’ll learn all you need to know about Armageddon. You’ll see it’s location, learn about it’s historical significance, and what is going to happen there at the end of the age.
You’ll also see that the final climactic battle between Jesus Christ and the armies of the world at the end of this age is not called the Battle of Armageddon.
Stick around till the end because the Bible reveals some pretty shocking events that will occur in our future.
And don't just believe us – but dive into your Bible, look up these verses, and prove it for yourself as we explore this ancient prophecy.
Point #1 - Armageddon is a hill.
The word 'Armageddon' is only found once in the Bible, in Revelation 16:16, which says, "And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon."
'Armageddon' is a transliteration of the original Hebrew har megiddon which simply means the "hill of Megiddo" or "the mountain of Megiddo."
This "mount" of Megiddo is located about 55 mi north of Jerusalem and overlooks the largest plain in Israel—the Valley of Jezreel or the Plain of Esdraelon.
It is actually not a mountain, but a tell—a mound or hill created by many generations of people living and rebuilding on the same spot.
Throughout history, numerous forts were built at this location to guard the Via Maris, an ancient trade route linking Egypt with Damascus.
So basically, Armageddon is a word used only once in the Bible that describes a hill in Israel.
But... this isn't just any ordinary hill. This location has had a long and bloody history.
Point #2 - Megiddo was the site of many ancient battles.
Due to its strategic location, Megiddo has seen quite a few battles over time. It is one of history's bloodiest battlefields.
In fact, some historians believe that more battles have been fought there than at any other place in the world!
For centuries, Egyptian armies from the south and the various empires from the north collided right there in the flat open expanse of the valley.
But the first biblical mention of "Megiddo" occurs in the book of Joshua. It is listed as one of the cities Joshua and the Israelites defeated during the conquest of Canaan at the end of the 15th century B.C.
"And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel conquered on this side of the Jordan, on the west... the king of Megiddo...." (Joshua 12:7, 21)
The land was within the territory allotted to the tribe of Issachar, but Megiddo became one of the cities assigned to the tribe of Manasseh (Jos 17:11; 1Ch 7:29).
However, "Manasseh did not drive out... the inhabitants of Megiddo and its villages; for the Canaanites were determined to dwell in that land. And it came to pass, when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites under tribute, but did not completely drive them out." (Judges 1:27-28)
Then, during the time of the Judges a few centuries later, it was the site of a major engagement between the Canaanite captain Sisera and Israelite forces under Deborah and Barak (Judges 4 and 5).
As the song Deborah and Barak sang in victory recounts, "The kings came and fought, then the kings of Canaan fought in Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo...." (Judges 5:19)
Later, in the 10th century B.C. King Solomon fortified the city to be used as a military center and chariot town (1 Kings 9:15)
And three centuries after that, the tragic death of King Josiah took place when "Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt went to the aid of the king of Assyria, to the River Euphrates; and King Josiah went against him. And Pharaoh Necho killed him at Megiddo when he confronted him." (2 Kings 23:29; 2 Chron. 35:20-24)
Even in post-biblical times — and all the way up to the 20th century — this location has been the scene for large-scale confrontations.
In World War I, British General Edmund Allenby defeated Turkish military forces there in what became known as “the Battle of Megiddo.”
These battles and others mentioned both in the Bible and in secular sources have earned this historical location an infamous reputation. It has become a very symbol for war itself.
So... Megiddo has a long and bloody past... but what about its future?
Point #3 - Megiddo is where the world's armies will gather to fight Jesus Christ.
The book of Revelation reveals major prophetic events leading up to the return of Jesus Christ. If you want to know the sequence of these events and understand more about this mysterious book, be sure to check out our video "Revelation's 'End of the World' Timeline Explained'
We read in the book of Revelation that at the end of the age "spirits of demons... go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.... And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon." (Revelation 16:14, 16)
Satan and his demons will arouse the political and military leaders of the world to mobilize their forces.

The FIRST Resurrection Explained | Revelation 20:4-5 | 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 | 1 Corinthians 15
In this video we are going to explain what the Bible says about the First Resurrection.
Although there are 3 general resurrections, the Bible mainly focuses on the First. So we will dive into this topic and answer key questions such as... When does it take place? What is going to happen? And… Who will be in the 1st Resurrection?
This video is a must-watch for anyone interested in what the Bible says about the reward for those who turn to God before the end of this age.
So, let's dive in and discover the awesome truth about the First Resurrection… And remember, don’t just believe us, but look up these verses in your own Bible!
First, let’s answer the question:
When will the first resurrection take place?
1 Thessalonians 4 says, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” (v. 16).
Here we see that the dead in Christ (or those who have died in the faith) will be resurrected when Jesus descends from heaven. And notice that this event is accompanied by the sound of a trumpet.
1 Corinthians chapter 15, also known as the “Resurrection Chapter,” says that the resurrection will take place, “at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible” (v. 52).
Again, we see that the resurrection is signaled by the sound of a trumpet, but this verse says it will occur “at the last trumpet.”
So… when will the “last trumpet” sound?
Well the book of Revelation reveals a series of trumpets being blown at the end of the age and prior to Jesus’ return.
In chapter 8, John saw in vision “seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets” (v. 2).
The blowing of the seventh and final trumpet is then highlighted in Revelation 11 describing the return of Jesus Christ, “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
And finally, we see in Revelation 20 that the resurrection takes place at the end of this age and the beginning of the millennium. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them… And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years… This is the first resurrection” (vv. 4–5).
In short, the First Resurrection takes place at the seventh and final trumpet blast, to kick off the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ and His saints.
Now, let’s see what the Bible says will happen at the First resurrection
There are a couple points we can take away from this question.
First, those raised to life in this resurrection will have a body made of spirit. They will not be raised to physical bodies.
Paul explains in 1 Corinthians 15 that our bodies are “sown a natural body, [and] raised a spiritual body… the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual… And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man (speaking of the glorified Jesus Christ)” (vv. 44–49).
Continuing on he says, “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1 Cor 15:50–54)
In regard to this transformation, Paul says in Romans 8, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For… the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God… because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God… even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.” (vv. 18–23)
So, we see those in the first resurrection will be raised as Spirit, immortal, incorruptible beings, as the Children of God.
And the final question we’ll answer is: who will be in the First resurrection?
We may have already picked up from some of the verses answering our first two questions that the First resurrection will be made up of faithful Christians, while the rest of mankind will be raised in the second resurrection. You can watch our video about the Second Resurrection by clicking here.
As we’ve already seen, 1 Thessalonians 4 highlights it will be made of those who “believe that Jesus died and rose again…” and “those who sleep in Jesus.” Calling them “the dead in Christ.”

These 3 Passages Reveal WHO ACTUALLY FORMED the New Testament Canon
How was the New Testament formed?
And when was the canon actually finalized?
Many suggest it wasn’t until the 4th century AD that certain councils and committees finally decided which books were in and which books were out.
But is that true?
Well, the bible actually shows that the New Testament canon had been determined long before by the Apostles themselves.
So in this video, we will link together three passages to discover how the New Testament was being formed and finalized as early as the first century.
Be sure to watch to the end because understanding how the canon came to be is what gives us confidence that the right books were chosen and the imposters were left out.
And don’t just believe us, but look up these verses and prove it for yourself from the pages of your own Bible.
Scripture #1: 2 Peter 3:14-16, which says…
“Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.”
First, it’s important to note that 2 Peter is Peter’s last letter, written shortly before his execution, and not long after Paul's death. So it was written in the mid to late 60s AD.
And at this time, Peter refers to Paul's writings in a way that indicates that they were complete, mentioning "all" his letters.
And he compares them to “the REST of the SCRIPTURES.”
Peter is clearly defining Paul’s epistles as Scripture, and saying they were on par with the scriptures of what is called the Old Testament today.
This shows that Paul’s letters were already accepted as the inspired Word of God by the writing of 2 Peter and before the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD.
Scripture #2: 2 Peter 1:12-17
Beginning in verse 12, the Apostle Peter writes…
“For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things…. Knowing that shortly I must put off my tent… I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease.”
Creeping into the Church around this time were corrupt men (Jude 4) and false teachers (2 Peter 2:1), even some imposters who were writing false epistles in the name of the Apostles (2 Thess. 2:1-2).
These individuals were distorting and perverting the truth.
So Peter, aware of his soon-approaching death, knew that the only way he could ensure a permanent record of what he had taught was to leave behind writings officially designated as Holy Scripture.
Peter was compiling a permanent record for the Church to “always have a reminder.”
So it was the Apostle Peter who began putting together the books of the New Testament.
This would’ve included all the writings of Paul, which, as we’ve already explained, were defined as Scripture at this time (2 Peter 3:14-16).
And this also included 3 of the 4 gospels. Paul even quotes Jesus’ words from the gospel of Luke, calling it scripture—1 Timothy 5:18.
Now, beginning in verse 16, Peter abruptly switches from using the first person singular, “I,” to using "we," the first person plural. He writes,
“For WE have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, ‘This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’ And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.”
So who is the “we” Peter is referencing?
Well..
This person would be sound in doctrine, not following “cunningly devised fables.”
He would’ve been preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God as one who “made known the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
And he had to be an EYEWITNESS to Jesus’ majesty with Peter on the holy mountain.
This leaves us with only 1 option, and brings us to…
Scripture # 3: Matthew 17:1-5
“Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.”
These three were eyewitnesses, in vision, to the majesty of Christ in His glory when they were with Him during the transfiguration.
Peter was referring to either James or John. But he would not have been referring to James, because James had already been martyred when he wrote 2 Peter (Acts 12:2).
So the only other one who saw first-hand Christ’s majesty was the Apostle John.
Peter was explaining in his last letter that "we"—he and John—were the only ones remaining who possessed the "sure word of prophecy" (2 Peter 1:19, KJV).

That is, sin is the breaking of God’s Laws, and specifically the ten commandments.
The Ten Commandments are spiritual laws, some of which include: Do not lie, do not steal, do not murder, do not commit adultery, and do not worship other gods.
These laws are for our good (Deut 10:13), and when we break them there are consequences.
