This is a story of two riders that didn’t make it. Thanks to the barman at Mt Dare Hotel for telling it well. This place is one of the most isolated spots in Australia and the bikes have been sitting for a month with riders airlifted to hospital.

Here’s Aaron on day1. First intro dusting away and explaining his speed control instructions. Riding a Beta well, picking up a Deano award later in the trip for exception acrobatics.

“Are you on Grinder?” Turns out the grinder was to cut a lock on a bike before we even get started.

We first walk into the bar at Marree and the first thing said was “are you on grinder?” By this bloke!! WELL!! We all know that grinder is the boys looking for bums and Sex action dating site. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that :)
