Burj Khalifa - scenic relaxation film with calming music
The Burj Khalifa (/ˈbɜːrdʒ kəˈliːfə/; Arabic: برج خليفة, Arabic pronunciation: [bʊrd͡ʒ xaˈliːfa], Khalifa Tower), known as the Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration in 2010, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With a total height of 829.8 m (2,722 ft) (just over half a mile) and a roof height (excluding antenna, but including a 244 m spire[2]) of 828 m (2,717 ft), the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009, supplanting Taipei 101, the previous holder of that status.[3][4]
Construction of the Burj Khalifa began in 2004, with the exterior completed five years later in 2009. The primary structure is reinforced concrete and some of the structural steel for the building originated from the Palace of the Republic in East Berlin, the former East German parliament.[5] The building was opened in 2010 as part of a new development called Downtown Dubai. It was designed to be the centrepiece of large-scale, mixed-use development. The decision to construct the building was based on the government's decision to diversify from an oil-based economy, and for Dubai to gain international recognition. The building is named in honour of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan;[6] Abu Dhabi and the UAE government lent Dubai money to pay its debts. The building broke numerous height records, including its designation as the tallest building in the world.
Burj Khalifa was designed by a team led by Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the firm that designed the Sears Tower in Chicago, a previous record holder for the world's tallest building. Hyder Consulting was chosen to be the supervising engineer with NORR Group Consultants International Limited chosen to supervise the architecture of the project. The design is derived from the Islamic architecture of the region, such as in the Great Mosque of Samarra. The Y-shaped tripartite floor geometry is designed to optimize residential and hotel space. A buttressed central core and wings are used to support the height of the building. Although this design was derived from Tower Palace III, the Burj Khalifa's central core houses all vertical transportation with the exception of egress stairs within each of the wings.[7] The structure also features a cladding system which is designed to withstand Dubai's hot summer temperatures. It contains a total of 57 elevators and 8 escalators.
At a certain point in the architectural and engineering process, the original Emaar developers experienced financial problems, and required more money and economic funding. Sheikh Khalifa, the ruler of the United Arab Emirates, granted monetary aid and funding, hence the changing of the name to "Burj Khalifa". The concept of profitability derived from building high density developments and malls around the landmark has proven successful. Its surrounding malls, hotels and condominiums in Downtown Dubai have generated the most revenue from the project as a whole, while the Burj Khalifa itself made little or no profit.[8][9]
Critical reception to Burj Khalifa has been generally positive, and the building has received many awards. However, there were numerous complaints concerning migrant workers from South Asia who were the primary building labour force. These centered on low wages and the practice of confiscating passports until duties were complete.[10]

La Sagrada Familia - scenic relaxation film with calming music
La Sagrada Familia - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Basílica de la Sagrada Família (Catalan: [bəˈzilikə ðə lə səˈɣɾaðə fəˈmiljə]; Spanish: Basílica de la Sagrada Familia; 'Basilica of the Sagrada Famím'), also known as the Sagrada Família ) (Holy Family) is a small unfinished Roman Catholic cathedral in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Designed by the Spanish/Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926), his work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On November 7, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and declared it a chapel. On March 19, 1882, construction of the Sagrada Familia began under the direction of the architect Francisco de Paula del Villar. In 1883, when Villar resigned, Gaudí assumed the position of chief architect, transforming the project with his architectural and geometric style, merging Gothic forms with the curved lines of Art Nouveau. Gaudí devoted the rest of his life to the project, and was buried in a crypt. At the time of his death in 1926, less than a quarter of the project had been completed. Relying only on private donations, the construction of the Sagrada Familia progressed slowly and was interrupted by the Spanish Civil War. In July 1936, revolutionaries set fire to the basement and forced their way into the workshop, partially destroying Gaudí's original blueprints, drawings, and plaster models, resulting in 16 years of work to assemble the main model parts. Construction resumed intermittently in the fifties. Advances in technologies such as computer-aided design and computer numerical control (CNC) have since enabled faster progress and construction passed the midway point in 2010. However, some of the project's biggest challenges remain, including the construction of ten towers Others, each symbolizing the importance of a biblical figure in the New Testament. The building is expected to be completed by 2026, the centenary of Gaudí's death. The cathedral has a long history of disagreement among Barcelona residents: about it possibly rivaling Barcelona Cathedral, about Gaudí's own design, about the possibility that work after Gaudi's death ignored his design, and a 2007 proposal to build a nearby tunnel as part of the high-speed rail link Between Spain and France, which could upset their stability Art critic Rainer Zerbst, describing the Sagrada Familia, said, "It is perhaps impossible to find an ecclesiastical building like it in the entire history of art", and Paul Goldberger describes it as "the most extraordinary personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages." ". The basilica is not the cathedral church of the Diocese of Barcelona, as this title belongs to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia.
Some of its unfinished parts were destroyed during the chaotic war, but work continued after that and several post-Gaudy architects committed to designing it. It is now one of the most attractive places for tourists in Barcelona, who can visit the completed parts of it, as nearly one million people visited it in 2004, according to the Catalunya newspaper.

Neuschwanstein Castle - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Neuschwanstein Castle - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Neuschwanstein Palace (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein) (or for easier pronunciation: Neuschwan-stein) is an ancient palace located in southern Germany, near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwestern Bavaria, not far from the Austrian border. Neuschwanstein is the most famous castle of Ludwig II and one of Germany's most popular tourist attractions. It is visited by about 1.5 million tourists annually. Often referred to as a "fairytale castle", Neuschwanstein is open to visitors nearly all year round. The architecture and interior design are influenced by the romantic eclecticism of the 19th century and the castle is considered one of the most important historical works. Three of the Ludwijk castles (Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Hirenchemsee) have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The palace was built in 1869 for Bavarian King Ludwig II as a perfect idea for a medieval knight's castle. Designed by Christian Jank, and built by Eduard Riedel and Georg von Dollmann. The king lived only a few months in the castle, and died before construction was completed.
Date
Picture of the palace from above
King Ludwig II of Bavaria, known under the name "Mad King Ludwig", began building the palace at the end of the 19th century in the summer of 1868. The palace was designed by the engineer Christian Jank and took 17 years to build. Up to 8 meters of rock was removed to make room for foundations. In June 1869, the access road to the new palace was ready. On September 5, 1869, the building plan, pictures of buildings, and coins from the reign of Ludwig II were laid in foundation stone. The latest methods were used in construction in terms of technology as well as materials. The rooms of the palace and the royal residence were heated by central heating with hot air. Running water was available on all floors, even hot and cold in the kitchen. The toilets were equipped with automatic washers. The king also had an automatic pager for servants, and there was a telephone line connecting the third and fourth floors, in addition to an elevator, and the cranes were powered by steam engines. The masonry was made of bricks clad only with light limestone. Neuschweinstein Palace is located near Hohenschwangau Palace, which was built by Ludwig II's father Maximilian II, former King of Bavaria. Ludwig II was removed from power before the end of the palace construction period, because he squandered state funds on building palaces and other unnecessary matters according to his opponents. Seven weeks after his death in a hitherto unknown manner, the doors of the palace were opened to the public. Many of the masterpieces painted on the walls of the palace were inspired by the works of Wagner, with whom Ludwig II was so fond of. Only 14 of the palace's 360 rooms were decorated and the rest were devoid of any artwork or furniture.

Mount Fuji - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Mount Fuji - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan, Japanese: [ɸɯꜜ(d)ʑisaɴ] (listen)), or Fugaku, located on the island of Honshū, is the highest mountain in Japan, standing 3,776.24 m (12,389.2 ft). It is the second-highest volcano located on an island in Asia (after Mount Kerinci on the island of Sumatra), and seventh-highest peak of an island on Earth.[1] Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708.[4][5] The mountain is located about 100 km (62 mi) southwest of Tokyo and is visible from there on clear days. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is covered in snow for about five months of the year, is commonly used as a cultural icon of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photography, as well as visited by sightseers and climbers.[6]
Mount Fuji is one of Japan's "Three Holy Mountains" (三霊山, Sanreizan) along with Mount Tate and Mount Haku. It is a Special Place of Scenic Beauty and one of Japan's Historic Sites.[7] It was added to the World Heritage List as a Cultural Site on June 22, 2013.[7] According to UNESCO, Mount Fuji has "inspired artists and poets and been the object of pilgrimage for centuries". UNESCO recognizes 25 sites of cultural interest within the Mount Fuji locality. These 25 locations include the mountain and the Shinto shrine, Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha.[8]
History
Fine Wind, Clear Morning woodblock print by Hokusai, 19th century
Mount Fuji is an attractive volcanic cone and a frequent subject of Japanese art especially after 1600, when Edo (now Tokyo) became the capital and people saw the mountain while traveling on the Tōkaidō road. According to the historian H. Byron Earhart, "in medieval times it eventually came to be seen by Japanese as the “number one” mountain of the known world of the three countries of India, China, and Japan".[16] The mountain is mentioned in Japanese literature throughout the ages and is the subject of many poems.[17]
The summit has been thought of as sacred since ancient times and was forbidden to women until the Meiji era in the late 1860s. Ancient samurai used the base of the mountain as a remote training area, near the present-day town of Gotemba. The shōgun Minamoto no Yoritomo held yabusame archery contests in the area in the early Kamakura period.
The first ascent by a foreigner was by Sir Rutherford Alcock in September 1860, who ascended the mountain in 8 hours and descended in 3 hours.[18]: 427 Alcock's brief narrative in The Capital of the Tycoon was the first widely disseminated description of the mountain in the West.[18]: 421–27 Lady Fanny Parkes, the wife of British ambassador Sir Harry Parkes, was the first non-Japanese woman to ascend Mount Fuji in 1867.[19] Photographer Felix Beato climbed Mount Fuji two years later.[20]
On March 5, 1966, BOAC Flight 911, a Boeing 707, broke up in flight and crashed near the Mount Fuji Gotemba New fifth station, shortly after departure from Tokyo International Airport. All 113 passengers and 11 crew members died in the disaster, which was attributed to the extreme clear-air turbulence caused by lee waves downwind of the mountain. There is a memorial for the crash a short distance down from the Gotemba New fifth station.[21]
Today, Mount Fuji is an international destination for tourism and mountain climbing.[22][23] In the early 20th century, populist educator Frederick Starr's Chautauqua lectures about his several ascents of Mount Fuji—1913, 1919, and 1923—were widely known in America.[24] A well-known Japanese saying suggests that a wise person will climb Mt. Fuji once in their lifetime, but only a fool would climb it twice.[25][26] It remains a popular symbol in Japanese culture, including making numerous movie appearances,[27] inspiring the Infiniti logo,[28] and even appearing in medicine with the Mount Fuji sign.[29][30]
In September 2004, the manned weather station at the summit was closed after 72 years in operation. Observers monitored radar sweeps that detected typhoons and heavy rains. The station, which was the highest in Japan at 3,780 metres (12,402 ft), was replaced by a fully automated meteorological system.[31]
Mount Fuji was added to the World Heritage List as a Cultural Site on June 22, 2013.[7]

Giza Pyramids - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Giza Pyramids - scenic relaxation film with calming music
The Giza Pyramid Complex (also called the Giza Necropolis) is an archaeological site on the Giza plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt. The complex includes the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx. These pyramids were all built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt between 2600 and 2500 BC. The site also includes several tombs and the remains of a workers' village.
The complex is located on the fringes of the Western Desert about 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) west of the Nile in the city of Giza, and about 13 kilometers (8 mi) southwest of downtown Cairo. The site (along with the neighboring city of Memphis) was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
The Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Khafre are two of the largest pyramids built in ancient Egypt, and they were historically popular as symbols of ancient Egypt in the Western imagination. They became famous in Hellenistic times, when the Great Pyramid was listed by the Greek poet Antipater as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. They are by far the oldest and only ancient wonders of the world still surviving.
The pyramids, according to one of the hypotheses, are royal tombs, each bearing the name of the king who built it and was buried in it. The pyramidal building is a stage in the development of tomb architecture in ancient Egypt. It started with a small pit that turned into an underground room and then into several rooms topped by a terrace. Then it evolved to take the form of a stepped pyramid by the engineer Imhotep, the minister of the pharaoh and King Djoser in the Third Dynasty. This was followed by two attempts by King Sneferu, founder of the Fourth Dynasty, to build a complete hierarchical form. But the backs of the two pyramids are improperly shaped, and they are located in Dahshur, one of them has a flat base and the other has a smaller shape that is about half the size of the first. The engineer Hamiono, the engineer of King Khufu, was able to achieve the ideal pyramidal shape and built the pyramid of Khufu in Giza on an area of 13 acres, followed by the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure.

Las Vegas - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Describing the city as the entertainment capital of the world, the city is famous for its new casinos, hotels, and leisure activities. It is the third most important business destination in the United States and a global leader in the hospitality industry, claiming to have more five-diamond hotels than any other city in the world. Continuously ranks all-time ranking of tourist encounters around the world. The adult entertainment business started earning it the nickname City of Sins, which made Vegas a location for stories, novels, films, TV shows and video clips.

Romania - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Romania - scenic relaxation film with calming music
Romania is situated on the western shores of the Black Sea. It enjoys great natural beauty and diversity and a rich cultural heritage. Romania enchants visitors with its scenic mountain landscapes and unspoiled countryside areas, and also with its historic cities and its busy capital. Over the last decade Romania had undergone a significant development and it is one of the recent members of the European Union. Tourists from western countries might still, even today, enjoy some surprising experiences in Romania. This is a large country which can sometimes be shocking with contrasts: some cities are truly Western Europe; some villages can seem to have been brought back from the past. Things for which Romania is famous include: the Carpathian mountains, sculptor Constantin Brancusi, wine, salt mines, George Enescu, medieval fortresses, Eugene Ionesco, "Dacia" cars, Dracula, stuffed cabbage leaves, Nadia Comaneci, primeval dense forests, the Black Sea, Gheorghe Hagi, sunflower fields, wolves and bears, painted monasteries, the Danube Delta, etc. etc.
