Inside DERINKUYU Underground City | Why Nobody asks these Questions? 🤔
Join us on our tour through Derinkuyu Underground City
The first thing you notice when you approach the entrance area of Derinkuyu, are the Ventilation Shafts which also serve as water wells.
After paying the entrance fee, we submerged ourselves in the underground city of Derinkuyu.
Only about 15% percent or less is open for public.
What is very strange about the Underground cities of Cappadocia is that you won't find any wall paintings, inscriptions, hieroglyphs or any type of decoration. We were wondering why the ancient people who lived down here never decorated the walls or is it even possible that it has been removed later on?
You can see that many tunnels and entrances have been closed in different periods of time
We were wondering how was it possible to light up the Underground Cities without electricity since we never found any soot residue on the walls or the ceilings.
Many areas have not been excavated yet.
All the stairs look very new and have been created in recent times.
As we go deeper in the underground city we noticed that the tunnels becomes smaller and smaller but the rooms are bigger bigger than the ones on the upper levels.
The reason why archaeologists believe that there was a church down there is because of the cross shape of the room.
After doing further research and talking to the locals, we were able to confirm that there is indeed a 9km long tunnel connecting Derinkuyu Underground City to Kaymakli Underground City. There is even another tunnel connecting to the Underground City of Soganli.
The air is surprisingly fresh in the entire underground city. Clearly there is a good ventilation system.
Please check out also our video about Kaymaklı underground city here:
https://youtu.be/fTBNDoIGERs
Another interesting fact is that the Underground city had no sewage or waste water system.
The deep air ventilation shafts were the only fresh water source for the people of Derinkuyu but they could not have used the same Ventilation Shaft to dump their waste water because they would have poisoned themselves.
How did all this 20-70k people do their toilet everyday and wash themselves??? As far as we know this question has not really been addressed by archaeologists until today.
There is also a big Greek orthodox church standing right on top of the underground city.
Unfortunately we were not able to visit the church because it was closed for renovation until March 15, 2023
We found also a church on top of Kaymakli Underground City.

Strange BLACK GOO Revealing The PYRAMIDS TRUE PURPOSE?
The satellite pyramid, as suggested by some Egyptologists is located 55 meters south of the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, Egypt.
The pyramid originally measured 26 meters in height and 52.80 meters in length, with faces inclining 44°30'. The structure is made of limestone blocks, relatively thick, arranged in horizontal rows and covered with a layer of fine limestone from Tura. The main chamber is accessible from a descending corridor with its entrance located 1.10 meters above the ground in the middle of the north face. The corridor, inclined at 34°, originally measured 11.60 meters in length.
A short horizontal passage connects the corridor with an ascending corridor, inclined at 32° 30', leading up to the chamber.
The design of the corridors is similar to the one found in the Great Pyramid of Giza, where the Grand Gallery takes up the place of the ascending corridor. The corridor leads up to the main chamber (it most probably never contained any sarcophagus). The chamber, located in the center of the pyramid, has a corbel vault ceiling and contains a four meters deep shaft, probably dug by treasure hunters, in the southeast part of the chamber.
We noticed this black goo like substance that seems to be squeezing out of the lime stone inside the pyramid. According to mainstream Egyptologists, these stains are coming from the bats that live inside the Pyramid. According to our research, this hypothesis can be dismissed because of several reasons.
The same black stains can be found also inside the Red Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid and the Great Pyramid of Giza. It was also reported that the strange oval shaped coffer which has been found at the bottom of the great pit of Zawyet el Aryan had also this Black Goo on the inner walls of the coffer.
A group of researchers from the ISIDA-Project have taken samples of the black substance from the Red Pyramid and they provided us with their laboratory analysis.
The Analysis revealed that the Black Goo contains many common and exotic metals which is a big question mark.
Is it possible that the pyramids were some giant chemical reaction chambers to produce energy as suggested by Chris Dunn in his book the Giza Power Plant?
If you want to dive deeper into the topic of the chemical composition of the black substance please check out this channel: https://youtube.com/@thelandofchem

The SEWU-Temple Phenomenon | Why is it Raining inside This Temple?
Today, we take you on a journey to the majestic Sewu Temple where we witnessed a very strange phenomenon.
The Sewu Temple, also known as Candi Sewu, is the third-largest ancient temple complex in Indonesia. Located in Central Java, near the city of Yogyakarta, the temple lies only about 900 meters north of the majestic Prambanan temple and about 35km south east from the famous Borobudur temple.
Though the name Sewu Temple means "a thousand temples," in reality, the complex consists of one main temple surrounded by 240 smaller ones. Same as Prambanan.
Historians believe that the three temple complexes of Borobudur, Prambanan and Sewu are all dating back to roughly the same period between the 8th and 9th century while Sewu Temple is thought to be the oldest.
While there is an ongoing debate about the true origin of Sewu temple, there are two ancient stone tablets that seem to provide some important details:
The Kelurak inscription and the Manjusrigrha inscription.
The Kelurak Inscription which is dated to 782AD has been found around 3,5km away from Sewu temple. It gives indications about the Buddhist inclinations of the Mataram Kingdom and confirms that Buddhism was a significant religion during this period in Central Java. The inscription mentions the building of a vihara which translates to “temple” or “Buddhist monastery”. Given the close proximity and the timeline, many historians and archaeologists associate the vihara mentioned in the Kelurak Inscription with the Sewu Temple complex.
The Manjusrigrha Inscription is another essential historical artifact associated with the temples of Central Java, especially the Sewu Temple. The stone tablet is dated to 792 AD and the term "Manjusrigrha" literally translates to "The House of Manjusri”. Manjusri is a deity associated with wisdom in Mahayana Buddhism which also represents the fully enlightened Buddha.
The inscription mentions the construction of a sacred building to honor Manjusri. Considering the proximity, the timeline and along with the temple's architectural and iconographical style, historians and archaeologists commonly identify the Sewu Temple as the structure in the inscription.
However, we have to mention, that we cannot be 100% sure that these stone tablets are really referring to the Sewu temple as there are many other Buddhist temples in the area, such as the nearby lumbung temple or the even older Mendut temple which forms a straight line with the temples of Pawon and Borobudur.
We will give you now a tour around the temple complex and we will enter some of the smaller temples. After that we will take you inside the main building where we witnessed an unexplainable phenomenon.
On that particular day, we arrived around 6am at the gates of Prambanan temple complex which is around 1km south of Sewu temple. After vsiting Prambanan, we had lunch and continued our visit to Sewu temple. It was a very hot and sunny day and there was absolutely zero rain in the area.
When we entered the main building of Sewu Temple, some huge water drops were continuously pouring from the temples ceiling, as if it was heavily raining outside and the water was leaking through the roof. But there was no rain in the area the whole day!

The PYRAMID of DJEDEFRE & SECRET MILITARY BASE at Zawyet El Aryan
The Unfinished Pyramid of Djedefre or the Great Pit of Abu Rawash is a mysterious structure located on a hill at the outskirts of Cairo.
According to Egyptologists, it is an unfinished pyramid made by King Djedefre the Son of Khufu.
The early British Egyptologist Flinders Petrie noted about the pyramid of Abu Rawash:
"The Great heaps of granite all around the pyramid show that it has been cased with granite and as it is always believed that no casing was put on a pyramid until the core was entirely finished, this is evidence of the completion of the pyramid."
Petrie also reported that he found some curved pieces of a granite coffer and a diorite statue in the pit of Abu Rawash
There are other, similar looking structures out there in the desert around Giza, that seem to have the same kind of T-shaped pit in the center, they have been cased with granite stones, and all of them are facing to the north. Such as the Pyramid Neferefre at Abusir or the Great Pit of Zawyet el Aryan.
Unfortunately, the Pit of Zawyet el Aryan has been covered up by the Egyptian military decades ago. The pit has been completely filled up with sand and a wall has been installed around it.
What makes it even more mysterious, is this strange underground base out there in the desert which can be accessed from the Zawyet el Aryan military base.
What might be the reason that the Egyptian military decided to built this strange structure so close to the pyramids of Giza and all the other ancient monuments?
Most of the Pyramids in Lower Egypt from Abu Rawash to the Giza Plateau to Meidum are surrounded by No-go Areas which are controlled by the military.
We found even more underground entrances in the surrounding desert on Google earth.
There are some old photos of Zawyet el Aryan that show the mysterious structure with the oval granite coffer that looks very different from everything else that we have seen in Egypt.
Back at Abou Rawash, Flinders Petrie reported that he also found some curved pieces of a granite coffer and a Diorite statue around the unfinished pyramid of Djedefre.
It seems like there is a connection between the so-called unfinished pyramids, specially Zawyet el Aryan and this structure here in Abu Rawash because of the striking similarity.
If all those structures are really just Unfinished Pyramids, then we have to ask ourselves why they have been left unfinished with these same features and characteristics.
Or is it possible that we might be looking at something entirely different here?

Mastaba 17: The OLDEST GRANITE Sarcophagus of ANCIENT EGYPT?
This is the Mastaba Number 17.
It is widely believed to hold the oldest granite box or sarcophagus of ancient Egypt.
It is located South of the pyramids of Giza, directly next to the mysterious Meidum Pyaramid.
When I visited Meidum, I was the only tourist there and I was able to explore the place all alone by myself. We hope you enjoy the Video.

The Unfinished GIANT STATUES of Minya | Bigger Than BAALBEK
At the outskirts of the city of Minya in Middle Egypt, right next to the nile river, lies a relic that is rarely spoken about. This ancient site is home to a remarkable limestone quarry where you’ll find the remains of an enormous unfinished statue.
THE COLOSSUS OF MINYA.
The outline of a statue of an Egyptian king has been chiselled onto the upper surface of the giant block, and so we know that this stone was being quarried to make what would have been one of the largest and greatest statues of ancient Egypt.
This statue is a huge block of limestone which is 22 meters long, 8 meters wide, and around 8.5 meters tall or deep. Based on the rock type and the dimensions, some speculate that this block in the quarry of Minya could weigh more than 2000 tons, which means it is larger than the blocks at Baalbek and heavier than the unfinished obelisk of Aswan, which weighs around 1200 tons.
There are vertical trenches on all four sides of the block which are around 50 centimetres wide and up to 8.5 meters deep. You can even go down and walk along these trenches to see the statue up close.
Only about 30 to 40 meters away from the unfinished statue lies another gigantic monument which appears to be an unfinished obelisk.
This unfinished obelisk is 21 meters long and 2,5 meters wide. What makes it also unusual is the fact that it is made from limestone and not aswan granite.
after checking out the obelisk, we walked back to the lower part of the giant unfinished statue.
What really blows our mind is the question of how they would remove this 2000-ton statue from the quarry. It seems like the ancient builders left some clues for us.
Under the giant limestone block, there are some horizontal passages which are around 60 centimetres high. It seems like these tunnels were supposed to be part of the removal process, but the exact procedure is unknown.
Egyptologists believe that the statue may have been intended to depict King Ramses II. Ramses II was known for his many monumental building projects, including the temples at Abu Simbel and Luxor.
Despite the fact that the statue was never completed, it remains one of the most impressive examples of ancient Egyptian technology. It serves as a testament to the incredible skills of the ancient builders who created it.
