Alan Wake Remastered Vs Original Graphics Comparison
Dash played Alan Wake Remastered on the PS5 as well as the original on PC. It's clear that the remaster is a bit more remake than a traditional upscale with an FPS boost. Which do you like more?

Outriders is one of those rare games where it not only lives up to expectations, but completely surpasses them. The game's multiple character classes and seeming endless amount of customization makes for a fresh and engaging gameplay loop long after you finish the campaign.

Dragons Lair X RepliCade Review
Its hard to find anything I really disliked here, Sure the video out could be better, and I would have liked a slightly larger screen. But for a desktop arcade machine dedicated to one of the best arcade titles form the 80’s you really cant ask for more here.

Hello Puppets! | Review
As big of a proponent I am of Virtual Reality - and as much as I think it certainly defines the future of the potential of gaming - I absolutely put my foot down at the sheer existence of VR horror games. They fundamentally should not exist. They are the point at which I believe we, as a society, have gone "too far”. For a long time now, I’ve maintained that anyone that tries to encourage me to even try out Resident Evil 7 in VR is surely a servant of Satan himself, and that the experience is an actual, simulated reminder of what awaits me in the afterlife. In short - I feel that for the average gamer, VR horror games often transcend any kind of entertainment value, and simply become too scary to enjoy in a lot of cases. I can’t pop the hallway light on to distract from the tension of the screen when the screen is suspended mere centimeters away from my face. I often find myself too paralyzed by fear that I actually stop having fun a lot of the time.
Thankfully, that’s not the case with Otherworld Interactive’s Hello Puppets!, a dark comedy horror title that thankfully anesthetizes its tension and jumpscares by providing a charming and endearing anthropomorphic puppet companion that makes navigating the dark corridors of an abandoned TV studio a much more enjoyable experience - one that saw me cowering, laughing, and bonding with a new friend.

Marvels Avengers Review | A Slow Start
You wouldn’t think that a triple-A adaptation of the Avengers property would be vying to be one of the most controversial games of the year - but throughout the development of Marvel’s Avengers, Crystal Dynamicshave seemed pretty keen to prove that it could be.
Since its announcement in 2017, insults have been flung at the game over its character designs looking like cheap MCU knock-offs, or the much more egregious choice by Square Enix to capitalise on the games-as-a-service trend.
Like many gamers viewing the situation from the outside, I must admit, I didn't exactly have high hopes for Marvel's Avengers.
Though after donning the capes of it’s multiple heroes myself, I was pleasantly surprised with the final release, even if there are multiple issues that need rectifying if it’s going to survive.

Windbound Review | An Ill-Fated Voyage
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and if that’s true, Zelda’s cheeks will be redder than the blood moon when players get their hands on Windbound when it launches.

Windbound Preview
It's almost impossible not to fall in love withWindboundthe minute its opening cutscene begins to play. Its music enthralled me, its aesthetic warmed me, and its potential excited me infinitely. I love everything thatWindboundwants to be, and I feel like it knows that. Developer Five Lives Studios is very pleased in lettingWindboundwear itsZeldainspirations on its sleeve and I admire them for it. Its boat-building mechanic and focus on sailing are very proud in reigniting memories ofWind WakerandPhantom Hourglass, and the DNA ofBreath of the Wildcan be seen in - well, quite literally everything else. Windboundisn't embarrassed about that - and nor should it be - there's no shame in mimicking some of the most beloved games of all time if you do it as superbly asWindboundsomehow manages to do.
However it's precisely the fact that I love everything thatWindboundstands for, and more so the potential that it represents so much that left me was so disappointed walking away from the early build of the game that I played.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Review
At this point, I think everyone has some personal hot take on The Last of Us Part II. If you've played the game or not, you know something about it and I'm certain you have feelings about it. My job is to give those feelings a numerical evaluation. It was not an easy task. The Last of Us Part II is probably the most ambitious game Naughty Dog has ever made, and there's a lot here. So let's see if Part II should be the last of us.
Yeah, we're starting with that awful pun. You're welcome.

Beyond A Steel Sky Review | A Modern Mobile Classic
Not many games can survive a 26 year gap between entries, but Beyond A Steel Sky is the exception here. Its a point-and-click adventure that stays faithful to its roots while still feeling modern and it can be played on that new iPhone you've been tapping all day.
