Sadly, Rex Murphy passed away on May 9th, 2024 at the age of 77. I grew up listening to Rex on CBC's Cross Country Checkup, where he was the host for decades. I, along with most Newfoundlanders, considered Rex to be very smart and he always created words that made our heads spin. This video is quite a tribute to Rex, and a wonderful visit to Newfoundland. I have been following Pastor Artur Pawlowski for several years and he has to be the bravest Canadian. I had a chance to meet him breifly at the Reawaken America Tour on October 13th, 2023. Him being there is what made me decide to travel to Miami, so it was a huge bonus to meet him and his wife along with his oldest son. I think his voice will be heard loudly in Canada soon.
