Why We Need More Play in School
We can change how children learn by adding significantly more movement into their school day to fortify the brain-body connection for which their cells were designed. I hope you will agree that shining a light on the impact of current sedentary behaviors on our children's ability to learn will alarm parents, teachers, administrators, and community leaders that we must change our course. As a culture, we need to think of movement in a different light. It is not frivolous, it is necessary for a successful school journey.
We can no longer discount the importance of physicality to our children's learning process.
Their brains crave it.
Their brains need it to wire appropriately.
More moving will calm classroom chaos.
More moving will make everyone's school day easier.
