This is a game where can you play when you have a few minutes to kill. We wouldn't use the word “challenging”; but this game can get frustrating. We wouldn't use the word “grind”; but this game can get repetitive. All games get repetitive but some more than others. We must note that there are difficulty levels in this game that are not readily apparent. There is a “gravity” feature which can be non-existent, pull tiles left, pull tiles right, pull tiles up, pull tiles down and pull tiles to the center. ~~~~~ What are the pros and cons of Connect? ~~~~~ Pros: Easy to play. Young children can play this game. Simple mechanics. Generous number of reshuffles granted - eight (8). At most, only two (2) shuffles are needed to clear a level. Cons: No soothing background music. No music at all. Only two (2) tile skins are given. One can watch an advertisement to unlock another tile skin or pay $0.99 to unlock all skins. No indication there is more to the game than repetitive levels. Would be nice to know that it exists. Bottom Line: This game could use some music. What is Trivia Master? Trivia Master is a game where the player is given a series of five (5) questions and must select the correct answer multiple choice style. Is there any objectionable material? This game has no objectionable material. Granted, we have not gone through all the trivia questions in the game; but we are reasonably confident there isn't anything offensive in the game. What are the pros and cons of this game? Pros: Large variety of categories to choose from. Thousands of questions in the database. While there is a good hint system which is encouraged, one does not need to use hints to advance through the levels - assuming the player is OK with failing and retrying the level again. Multiple choice system of selecting the answer. Cons: There is no soothing background music. That would have been nice. A skippable ad appears after every few levels. These questions definitely fit in the trivia section and not the general knowledge section. What's the bottom line? Fans of trivia will like this game with the thousands of questions in the database. Casual trivia players may enjoy testing themselves on categories which interest them. “Trivia is information and data that are considered to be of little value.” Some people enjoy such things. Others do not. Your enjoyment of this game will be based on how you view trivia. Bottom line - this game is OK.

D7 is a game where the player needs to strategically play 2x1 “pills” on the board in such a manner that each color can only touch its own color. When such a blob reach seven (7) or nine (9) in size, then the blob will disappear. So in this manner, this game is a combination of Tetris, Dominoes and Woodoku. This game has no advertisements. This game has no objectionable material. This game has no music; which is why you hear no sound during the game. This game feels like a proof-of-concept project which was released. This game sorely could use a tutorial and simple levels so that the player can get a feel as to how to approach levels. That said, there is potential here. What do you get for spending real world money? ~~~~~ Strictly speaking, Mini Restaurant is not pay to win. Although the grind in this game starts early and builds up that the prospect of watching advertising to save a few minutes of impatiently grinding, sorry, trying to build up to an upgrade, that the game ceases to be enjoyable. So paying removes the advertising requirements for these little perks ("offers") which appear every so often in the game. ~~~~~ Is there any objectionable material in Mini Restaurant? ~~~~~ Strictly speaking, no. You can choose to view some for in-game currency which is almost required - as that is better than aimlessly wasting time waiting to accumulate enough in-game currency to get an upgrade. ~~~~~ Do you recommend this game? ~~~~~ Bottom line, no. We absolutely HATE saying this about any game. We want to support the developers and understand that coding and debugging games can be an arduous task. We have found some buggy elements which detract from the game. It's a shame too. This game could be good for children learning how a decision can have an impact. Do I purchase another table or do I hire another chef? Do I make the restaurant prettier or do I learn new foods? But there are so many ads and requests for ads that we simply can not recommend this game.

We have a policy here of not using hints or power ups to clear a level. We want to show that the games and puzzles have solutions. When we need to use a hint on a puzzle game because we could not solve it - even with online dictionary assistance - we just do not think this game will be enjoyable to anyone outside of the dedicated crossword puzzle crowd.

This video shows the beginning of the Live Rich and Profit event which ends on May 16, 2024. Since there is not a lot of time left in this event, we just wanted to get started and not worry so much about efficiency. As you would expect from a mobile game, there is advertising and micro-transactions. However, none of these were forced - just optional.

What does this video show? This video shows Word Connect for the levels listed in the title. What is Word Connect Pro? Word Connect Pro is a Cross-word lite game where a group of letters are given and the player needs to fill the puzzle using only those letters given. How to play The player drags the pointer across the letters to make a combination. If this combination is a word, the player will be rewarded. Review of the game? The music is relaxing. The concept is fine. This game is good for those people where English is their primary language. Some of these words may not be known to non-native English speakers. However the word list leaves much to be desired: Some words are not known to the game - like MAGE. Some words are known but their plural is not - GAME is acceptable and GAMES is not. Some words are accepted in some levels but not in others. The game considers SAGEM, GPS and DIY as words. They are not. (Sagem is the name of a French company and GPS is an acronym while DIY is shorthand for Do It Yourself.) So this game needs to reconsider its dictionary file. We used a Scrabble dictionary to find words which stumped us - and still got stumped. What about advertisements? When connected to the Internet, an advertisement will appear every 3 or so levels. This game uses a cloud save feature over local storage. So if you enter airplane mode to play, remember to connect before you close out the game to keep your progress. Any objectionable material? You have to really go deep to find anything objectionable in a word sorting game. Words like SHIFT can be rearranged to have a naughty word shown. While the word is not counted as an acceptable word, or even a bonus word, some parents would be bothered if their young child accidentally saw it. So what is the bottom line? Is this a worthwhile game? As word puzzle games go, this is not a bad game - but with the aforementioned caveats. Just be warned that this game may frustrate you at times.

Heroic Missions are unlocked once the player has completed the requisite fifty (50) levels in adventure mode - through Tier 10 Map 5. In order to clear each Heroic Mission, each boss must be defeated by a leader from each faction. In other words, five (5) separate defeats. This is made more difficult as the mini levels for each boss is increased by ten (10), in addition to other unique effects that these bosses have. Is this game a grind? ~~~~~ After 15 levels, we are just beginning to get a feel for the game. We feel the challenging aspects are yet to come. Is this game a grind? Since this is a level-based game, the grind would come if levels needed to be repeated in order to obtain enough in-game currency to make necessary purchases. ~~~~~ What are the pros and cons of Cooking Kawaii? ~~~~~ Pros: Decent graphics. Children can learn the benefits of efficiency. Decent pace to the game. Cons: Game feels like it can get repetitive over time. While all games suffer from that trait, we feel that may start soon.. Bottom Line: We've seen better games and we've seen worse games. Watch the videos and make your own determination.

Jewel Charms and clones like this are a Match-3 game. Players make matches of three (3) or more to complete objectives. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ How does this differ from the other Match 3 games out there? The graphics are pretty. Combos of 4 or more give power ups. There are other variants that make this game interesting. Jewel Charms and its clones appear to be more of a campaign type game with options - free, advertising and real money. We will progress through this game as needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any objectionable material? As with many games, there is an attractive woman who guides you. While not objectionable in itself, there are some individuals who would not appreciate the reinforcing of negative female stereotypes. We have discovered that Jewel Planet and its clones are indeed the same game with very minor differences. It appears that one copied/stole the game from the original author, re-branded the game and have released it under their banner. We find this practice disgusting; and we do not know who the original author is. We've actually found four (4) games under the "Jewel" name. All these games can be found in the Google Play store so Google hasn't discovered any is clone of the other.

In of itself, there is nothing majorly wrong with this game. Sure, it could use music and different background skins but those are not deal-breakers. This game could do very well with children and teenagers if the game was geared towards their vocabulary level. Level 1's category was Medical Occupation. One of the answers is Pharmacist. While correct, this would frustrate a youngster who might be able to get the other clues. Mind you - this is level 1! Level 2 wasn't better. The bottom line is that we just think this is a lost opportunity.

The damage is fairly weak and Fila-Mint feels more like a softener than a zombie eliminator. But that's only at lower levels. Once Fila-Mint levels up, the damage becomes respectable and if there are a lot of zombies on the lawn when Fila-Mine is planted, there is a good chance most, if not all, of the zombies will be eliminated. Isn't that what we want from our mints? Bottom Line: It's not a sexy mint. It's not a tier 1 mint. This mint won't wow anyone with its effects when first obtained. However, on those levels where Fila-Mint plants are required or where other plants are banned, Fila-Mint and its family of plants make for a solid backup plan. So what you see is what players get. We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. The Undead Dungeon was offered between May 12, 2024 through May 19, 2024. This video shows the completion of the Undead Dungeon for May 2024. Each dungeon lasts one (1) week and consists of three (3) levels which must be completed as a gauntlet. No swapping of leaders or troops is allowed and must be completed by a leader of the faction of the week. Completing the dungeon allows for Army Upgrades which allows certain minis in certain spots to gain up to three (3) levels. Warcraft Rumble was released on November 3, 2023. Based on the World of Warcraft cast of characters, Warcraft Rumble is a miniature 4X game where each round lasts no more than four (4) minutes. This game is designed to be played on a mobile device and does require an internet connection, although it does run quite well in an emulated mode on a personal computer. Bucking the trend of most mobile games, Warcraft Rumble has NO ADVERTISING! We appreciate this trend by Blizzard. That said, they do have a store for micro-transactions. After all, the bills need to be paid somehow. We'd rather have a store than the constant barrage of annoying, intrusive and data-sucking advertisements.

Farm Matching Animal Parking is a game where the player needs to clear out animal pens by guiding the animals by enticing them to move forwards or backwards. In essence, this is a parking lot game but with animals instead of vehicles. This game has no objectionable material. Well, at least that any reasonable person would find objectionable. What are the pros and cons of this game? Pros: Young children can play this game. We've encountered some mini-games which break the routine. Nothing difficult, but it is there. Cons: While the advertisements are not intrusive or mandatory, young children may activate viewing of ads "accidentally" when these windows pop up between levels. The game changes the color of the animals to increase the difficulty. While in of itself, this is not a con, the color changes are quite subtle and those individuals who have problems discerning shades can get frustrated and may fail the level because of this. Distinct colors would be preferable. Even switching colors to make things more distinct. The game introduces a time-element in which one must clear the level. This can be frustrating. While so far the time has not been a factor, it can be on some of the longer levels, especially if one is distracted by real life. What's the bottom line? This is a not a bad change of pace game. It's a standard parking lot game. Children may have fun with the animals and some of their animations. Bottom line - this game is OK.

Traffic Jam Cars Puzzle Legend is a combination Match 3 game with a nice dash of Parking Lot games where the player needs to clear the cars from a full and mixed up parking lot. How difficult is this game? So far, this appears to be a game meant for the majority of people. We've not encountered any serious difficulties. But then, we are still in the adventure / extended tutorial stage. What about advertising? Sadly, these appear. But that's the sad reality these days. Not many people want to do micro-transactions and a game like this appears to be more filler than a commitment game. Any objectionable material? The Policewoman and the Nurse are attractive and portrayed in an appealing manner. They are not depicted as showing any skin or in any sexual manner; however some may view their depiction in a negative light or reinforcing negative female stereotypes. What are the Pros and Cons? Pros: A nice twist on Match 3 games, adding a parking car element to the game. Nice power-ups. Decent challenges. Cons: Levels get a little challenging a little too quick. Should not be a problem for adults but children could get frustrated. Music can get repetitive. Too many requests for purchases. Bottom line: If you are a fan of puzzle games, this is a nice one to add to your collection.
