A Moth is symbolically a person on the Spiritual Path but a very talented one, in that their natural habitat is the Air and they are largely free of the Earth being able to symbolically ‘fly’ in the Air [or higher]. In contrast with a Butterfly, the Moth is 'of the night' it is a ‘black shaman’. Black shamans are NOT EVIL, they are the people who help to combat evil – fight Blackness.
