How Ukraine Hit Russian Forces Deep Inside Crimea
How did Ukrainian forces manage to pull off a complex and dangerous amphibious raid into the western part of the Crimean Peninsula? And how might it have paved the way for Ukraine’s major strike on the headquarters of Russia’s Black sea fleet in s evastopol? On August 24th a few hundred elite commandos arrived on shore via speed boats. They targeted the Russian Nebo-M and Kasta 2E2 Radar stations that monitor from Crimea to Kherson, detecting aircraft, drones and incoming missiles. Destruction of these radar assets are key to opening up a gap for future missile strikes here. I guess that’s one way to avoid all the Russian landmines, just motorboat your way around it.

Attacks inside Crimea have become a world wide debate recently. There were Recent reports that Elon Musk told his engineers to not turn on the Starlink satellite network over Crimea in order to prevent a Ukrainian planned attack on the Black Sea fleet stationed in Sevastopol in 2022. A solid GPS connection is often required by the guidance systems in precision missile systems. Complicating matters, US sanctions against Russia may have prevented Musk from turning the satellites on and he was never ordered by the US Government to do so. Musk said he feared a major attack here would make him complicit in a major act of war. Defenders of this action claim it avoided world war III meanwhile Ukraine on the other hand claims this allowed the Russian navy to continue to fire cruise missiles on their cities which killed innocent people.
The recent amphibious assault and missile attacks on the black sea fleet on Crimean soil was previously unimaginable so what new conditions allowed for this strike? The action actually started the day prior on August 23rd when Ukraine destroyed a Russian S-400 air defense system in Crimea at the same exact area where special forces would land the very next day. Drone footage was released as evidence of the S-400 blown to pieces. To give you an idea of how valuable these are one battery of the export version costs around $500 million dollars. The attached Podlet K1 Radar allows it to detect and strike aircraft up to 400km at an altitude of around 30km. This weapon is seen as one of Moscow's most prized assets so its destruction leaves the Crimean air defense network weakened.

These missiles are equipped with a 500-lb class fragmentation warhead and have a max range of about 190 miles.

Ukraine Crosses the Dnipro, ATACMS Arrive - Russian Invasion Continues
In this concise update on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kings and Generals delve into three pivotal areas: the Avdiivka front, the Dnipro River crossing, and the recent arrival of ATACMS missiles.
In the Avdiivka sector, Russia persists in its offensive operations, despite initial setbacks. Ukrainian forces successfully defended against a Russian assault from October 10-14, inflicting substantial losses on the Russian army. However, the Russian army continues its efforts to gain ground in the region.
On the Dnipro River, Ukraine has managed to establish a bridgehead on the left bank near the Antonivskyi bridge. While Russian forces have been countering these attempts, Ukraine's success in creating a sustainable bridgehead could force Russia to divert reserves from other fronts.
A significant development in the conflict is the arrival of ATACMS long-range missiles in Ukraine. After months of negotiations, these missiles, although in limited numbers, have already had a substantial impact. Ukraine launched ATACMS missiles on Russian airfields, causing significant damage to Russian air assets.
Foreign military support continues, with Western nations providing aid to Ukraine. However, the level of support has decreased recently. Other countries, including Germany, Croatia, and Denmark, have increased their assistance with various military equipment and resources.
The Ukraine conflict continues as a brutal and unprovoked invasion by Russia now spans 20 months. Both sides engage in a prolonged war of attrition, with Ukraine reliant on foreign military aid, while Western support remains a complex and evolving issue. The conflict's toll is evident in significant losses on both sides.

Russia Deploys New Thermobaric Rocket Launcher to Ukraine
Picture yourself on a battlefield, confronted by a devastating weapon capable of causing widespread destruction. In that very moment, you might feel as if you're facing certain death, even if your body remains intact. That's how the Ukrainian troops might feel knowing that the Russian military is using their powerful new thermobaric weapon, the TOS-2 Tosochka 220 mm rocket launcher. On October 17, 2023, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially acknowledged the deployment of the TOS-2 thermobaric rocket launcher in Ukraine, which has proven to be extraordinarily effective and deadly. It’s important to highlight that since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, Russia has been employing thermobaric rocket launchers, including the TOS-1, within Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense even described this system as a source of panic. Western defense specialists even suggest that the most effective strategy to counter this technology is the swift detection and elimination of the launchers before they become operational. This underscores just how intimidating the Russian thermobaric system is. Given the fear-inducing nature of the previous version of the Russian thermobaric rocket launcher, one can't help but wonder: Just how terrifying will the newest TOS-2 prove to be?

Nine countries have recalled their ambassadors from Israel due to war on Gaza
#Netanyahu #Israel #IsraelHamasWar
Since Israel began its bombardment of Gaza, 9 countries have withdrawn their ambassadors or severed ties.
They've called for an immediate ceasefire and for humanitarian aid to enter the strip unhindered.
NATO member Turkey is among those that pulled their ambassador out.
So did Israel's neighbour, Jordan, that said Israel is committing "war crimes".
The latest to join the list are South Africa and Chad.
Bolivia was the first to sever ties entirely with Israel - saying its decision was a "condemnation of the aggressive and disproportionate Israeli military offensive taking place in the Gaza Strip”.

US Shows Nuclear Bomber, Submarine Operating in Middle East | Message To Iran Amid Israel-Hamas War?
In a rare announcement, the US military said a guided missile submarine has arrived in the Middle East. The US Central Command published a photo of the submarine passing through the Suez Canal on Nov. 6. Experts say the announcement is a clear message of deterrence directed at Iran and its proxies in the region. There have been frequent low-level attacks on US forces in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed groups. However, the US has been aiming to make it clear that wider attacks would provoke a major response.
