Mango Trees Arrived!!! From Yarden.com in Ft Pierce

V ordered 2 mango trees from Yarden.com and they are awesome! They were packaged amazingly well, arrived in great shape, and after 2 weeks they are still doing fantastic. We up-potted them 2 days after arriving and they are doing great. We were very happy with our purchase from Yarden.com and will definitely be ordering more from them!!! Much love everybody... Birdhouse Gourd Bird Houses

These little birdhouse gourds are the ones we shot a video of the process of hand pollenating at 10pm at night last year. These gourds were picked 3 weeks to the day after pollenating. 3 weeks. 21 days is all it took for them to be fully formed. They should have grown a little bit longer but our first freeze came and we had to pick them at 21 days. They were very fragile, but I dried and cured them anyway... and look what we have. 2 little birdhouses!!! Much love everybody... Grow what you love and you'll love what grows!!!

A Crow Named Blue & Chickens Too

I spent months trying to get the crows to come. Once Blue started coming to check us out, I spent weeks trying to make him feel welcome. Now he stays close and is here several times a day. He "steals" an egg every day or two, so I started giving him a cracked boiled egg... we have those on hand most every day. He LOVES boiled eggs! Crows tend to keep away predator birds... and frankly they are just good to have around. Blue is awesome and I'm very grateful to be his friend. Much love everybody... Broody Buff Orpington Busting Out!

I have noticed that she tends to come out once every 3 days. She'll come blasting out of the Peeper Hut cackling wildly and fluff herself, get some water, and eat a little. After a little while she starts to go back into her transe and head back to her eggs. Just my observations. Much love everybody... Y'all have a fantastic day! Strawberry Update 4-5-24

We have already been eating strawberries for a few weeks, but they are booming now. We got the straw (hay) out of the chicken yard and mulched the strawberries so they get fed every time it rains or they get watered. The strawberries are bangin! Oh so good! Much love y'all...
