We have been babbling on and on about these interspecies friendships. You know, the ones where two highly unlikely individuals become bestest of friends, despite nature’s odds. We have seen the cat and the dog, we have seen the cat and the mouse, we have even seen a goat and a coyote being best friends. Of course, there are a whole lot of other animals out there who have learned to put their own differences aside and forge a tight bond between each other. But when we saw these three having a casual sniff-off on a chair, we knew that anyone can be friends with anyone.

Any self-respecting Beagle wouldn’t be allowed to be caught sniffing the butt of any toyger, but this fella decided to hell with stereotypes and he made friends with one such cat. On the other hand, no tom would be caught dead sharing the same airspace with a rat, white or otherwise, but this guy also decided that these cliches need to be laid to rest once and for all!

Not once did the mouse run away from the cat, or the cat get scared by the mighty Beagle! They just sat there, sniffing each other’s butts and getting to know each other. Because what better way to bond than to find out what the others had for lunch today. Maybe they have the same taste in kibble?
