Drawing the Figure in Profile

A simple way for beginning artists to draw the human figure (the whole body, head to foot) as we would see it turned to one side. ArtBox is the channel associated with my art education web site, myartbox.org. At ArtBox, you can experience simple beginner's lessons on drawing portraits (faces), figures (people, the whole body), landscapes, and other drawing activities that worry the beginning artist, but shouldn't. At ArtBox, drawing anything at all is broken down into a process of putting together simple, common shapes and following a few guidelines. Anyone can draw, there's no mystery to it. All you need is paper, pencil, eraser, and the willingness to look on drawing as a straightforward process rather than a talent of the born artistic.
